  Click on start-> Run & paste-> %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities

  Since we had Thunderbird, we were not able to add all of the addresses in the address book. Strange thing is, we added an address when we started, and the address is saved! But after that and since then, no other addresses are saved when add us them. Here's what happens: we add a new contact, enter the information and click OK. Thunderbird is always open, contact seems to be stored in the address book and can be accessed. But as soon as Thunderbird is closed and reopened, the address disappears and we are left with only only one address, that we've added when we started and nothing more.   1. connect your BlackBerry to the computer via the USB cable and open the Desktop Manager.

  2. click on backup and restore

  3. click on the advanced under the section titled Advanced button

  4. on the next screen, on the right, select address book, then click the button clear down.

  It will delete the address book and leave it empty.
