  See the attached example.  It uses regular expressions, so a few caveats:

  1. my regex skills stink, so it cannot count words so perfectly that you like.  It is quite tolerant of special characters, but a string like "this & that" is taken into account 3 words, since the & is counted as a Word.  You can change the regular expression to fit your needs.

  2. as this example uses regular expressions in javascript, it will work well in Reader and Acrobat, but I don't think it will work for forms rendered on the server (e.g. exit).  For some reason regex support is missing in the Livecycle server javascript engine. or if it is there it does not work on my server.

  The script is located in the output: the data text box entry event.  You can type in (or paste) text in this text box and when you tab to the box, the number of words will be updated.  You can move the script in a different event on your form according to the when you counted words.

  I would like to know how it works for you.

  While displaying the form in the TAB overview of LC Designer, you will always get the unwanted characters as the name of the file. Save the file and open it in Acrobat or Reader.

  You will not be able to change the name of file unless you save the file first. Here (http://forums.adobe.com/thread/462681) is an example of a number of ways to deal with parts of the email programmatically.

  Except that, is there a way to prevent the re-writing of the dhcpd.conf file after I made a change to VMWare?  I tried it wrong in various ways, including the re - generate the hash SHA1 of the networking file and reset the modification time of the dhcpd.conf to the original time, without success.

  I found a way to do this.  Not sure if it's official, or if it will continue to work in the future.  In addition changes nat.conf, if you simply duplicate the part of the section "DON'T CHANGE" dhcpd.conf below, then the second version of the settings will cancel and replace the first.  Here is my solution:

  Me seems to have a problem that has been discussed before, but there is no adequate response with a real solution.

  When the import (place) a word (.rtf) file, some of the notes are misplaced, namely the number of the note looks like a spuare with a pink highlight, while the text of the note is moved to the next note, lost notes of their proper location.

  Does anyone have a solution? Many have had this problem, but I couldn't find any real solution.
