    Hello

Windows Media Player is part of the Vista operating system, and as such cannot be uninstalled, then reinstalled.

You can borrow, if you do not already have one, a DVD of Microsoft Vista and do a repair upgrade Installation:

First of all, I doubt that you have removed completely from all forms of malware from your computer. I recommend that you download, install, update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes.

Once you have completed the scan uninstall Adobe Flash Player using the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility, which can be downloaded from the third link below. Re-install the flash player and give it another go.

  • Uninstall-reinstall Windows Media Player 12 for Windows 7z

Seems to be a major problem with Windows Media Player 12, (not just me!). My problem could be solved easily by doing a restore. However, if I do a recovery, I'll lose hundreds of thousands, most likely several million files because I have at least 13 t of memory on my computer and external hard drives that will play only on this OS. That's why I have to repair Windows Media Player. Is there a solution?

  • How to download and install Windows Media Player on a Windows 7 laptop?

Somehow my Windows Media Player has been removed from my laptop.  For some reason you can't download it to a Windows 7 laptop.  I tried the suggestions that were given to me and to others who asked a similar question, but nothing seems to work.  I went in my trash to see if she was there and he is not.  Anyone know of anyway to get this short done go back my laptop that would look just for additional problems with no guarantee that it would help the reset?

You can't download it, its effectively integrated to W7, unless you have a ' or 'KN' version of W7, so can you.

If you have not already, have a read of this http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/26107/how-to-reinstall-windows-media-player-in-windows-7-to-solve-problems/ and uninstall - reboot - reinstall - restart, sometimes gets again.

Another thing that may help depending on how it has been "deleted" is to run a sfc/scannow and see if that is its lack, and it retrieves. If it finds errors, that may not be correct, and then try the command twice. SFC command - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833

If they do not help, I know no other than a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html?ltr=R repair installation (read the notes at the beginning, while it should leave accounts and programs implemented, upward before hand on a case where), or possibly a system restore to a date before that WMP has been "deleted."

  • uninstalling and reinstalling windows 7

I'm trying to uninstall windows 7 Professional (which is corrupted) and reinstall windows 7 Professional from the DVD.  I need help, and I tried to repartition the hard drive, so I can remove the corrupted software and reinstall the software, but it doesn't seem to work as it tells me to do.

can someone tell me how to solve this problem?

The forum "Installation, upgrade and activate" might be appropriate, but for that you are

Here, to give a full description of the "corruption" that you have to reinstall Windows.

Simply reinstall Windows cannot treat the source of your problem in the long term.

-A reinstall "Repair" is a less painful method of fixing problems with Windows and registers a

a lot of time vs. a complete reformat.

You can try this method before resorting to a complete reformat of Windows installation.

Repair installation - Forums of Windows 7

-I've never needed to do a complete reinstall of Windows 7 and can not remember if Win7 allows you to install

the disc then you are logged into Windows, but--

(like XP)-you can not reformat the drive on which Windows is installed while connected to Windows.

Creating a new partition of your disk in Windows, is not always possible, so that also requires a reformat of the HARD drive, which is done during the installation of Windows from disk.

To reinstall from the disc you must first install the BIOS to boot from the CD if your machine

does not start automatically in your current Windows installation.

While the installation process is fairly easy, and the guests are not hard to follow, you

study an installation guide for Windows to get a better idea of what you're in for.
