  Not sure what you mean by there. Cs6 is the "last" standalone version. For anything else you need to register for creative cloud and at best your existing license will be good for a discount on the first year. The rest is irrelevant by all means.

  I have just installed CS5.5 Adobe Production Premium on my computer and had a few errors pop up at the end of the installation.  I will paste the summary below.   I tried to install Procction Premium a couple of times.  I used the Adobe cleaning tool.  What I did the research, the Flash issue is a false error given that Flash was already installed on the computer.   The rest is connected to the program as well Flash?

  Thr programs all appear to work except for the below question well.

  My other question is that when I'm in Windows Explorer and I am entitled to say a .jpg file and select open with...  I am not able to choose Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for this question.  I have Dreamweaver CS4 and who is presented as an option.  I went through the process of trying to add the Adobe Photoshop .exe file, but it still does not work.  However, if I open Adobe Bridge, I can select Photoshop or Illustrator to open a file.  Is this related to my setup or is there something else?  I uninstall an older version of Adobe Photoshop 7.0 I've had for years, but it was prior to the installation of Production Premium CS5.  Could that have caused a problem?  I read that uninstalling an old Photoshop can cause problems like this.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Yes, your installation errors seem to be false harmless errors associated with the brain dead install Flash. If the programs seem to work fine, don't worry in this regard. As much as not being only unable to open images with Photoshop from Windows Explorer, I recommend you to take this issue to the Photoshop forum.

  I have tried for 3 days and 2 nights to download Production Premium CS5.5 for Mac (the main installer which is 8.8 GB) uses a network broadband company. We bought 4 licenses, but I'm unable to download the installer.

  Friday, I left the Downloader Akamai working all day and he left over the weekend. Although the consumption of bandwidth data indicated that downloaded the file several times, the result is a DMG file that would not check and open.

  Monday, I downloaded the DMG file in the form of HTTP download, but it wouldn't check. I ran an Akamai Downloader download again, but it failed after having downloaded more than 10 GB.

  If I had to download over a Home DSL or a modem connection cable, I could understand the problems, but it is a big pipe, that I work with! I'm no stranger to the UDP and TCP transfers, so I understand that Akamai may be using UDP to the speed increase and the gaps in the file with repeated downloads. If this is the case, why was it not enough weekends to complete the file? And why isn't a HTTP download which translates to a 100% complete the download in a work file?

  Adobe, what other ideas do you have for me?

  Have you worked with your service computer to determine if they could have put something in place which is interfering with your download?  Maybe there's a ceiling on how much data you are able to download under your account?

  Besides that you can perform the following steps to disable the checksum function:

  1. Go to Applications/Utilities/Disk utility
  2. Go to the menu of disk utility, then select Preferences
  3. Deselect checksum check

  If you receive installation errors, then the download is really corrupt.  Otherwise once the installation is complete, please re - turn on this feature.

  I tried pretty much everything what I found on this forum, but PP and AE will not install with the rest of my Production Premium CS5.5 package. I uninstalled every piece of software Adobe, I tried to download the trial version, I re-uploaded the .dmg and tried, but no matter what I do, PP and AE will be not installed on my computer. All other applications? No problem. It's very frustrating!

• In Production Premium CS5.5 mouse wheel

  I know this may seem a stupid question, but I have a clean Windows 7 Pro system installed with Production Premium CS5.5. One thing that I can't just learn is how to get my mouse wheel to do anything in one of the applications.

  I thought that the scroll of the mouse wheel should scroll windows/elements vertically or horizontally, but it does nothing. Even with the help of adobe base window is opened it does nothing. My mouse wheel works perfectly in other applications no CS5.5, then why is it not work/do anything in CS5.5 applications?

  I have already done some research of slicks on it and found nothing so any input would be great.

  I tried updating the base driver, but I'm already using the latest version.

  I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Intellipoint software that uses a different driver and offers more configuration on the mouse options and guess what it works now.

  Problem solved now.
