is it possible to upgrade windows 7 Professional to windows 7 Enterprise

Hello

I have the Windows 7 license company, but I want to improve this Win 7 Professional to Win 7 Enterprise. Is it possible to upgrade windows 7 Professional to windows 7 Enterprise.

Concerning

Cahndan Kushwaha

Hello

Enterprise is for Volume licenses (and companies not to use unique and private.)

https://blogs.Windows.com/ITPro/2009/08/06/Windows-7-Enterprise-Edition-understanding-software-assurancevolume-licensing/

Volume Licensing is the most affordable to upgrade your existing PC to Windows 7. If your PC is not already covered by Software Assurance, you can purchase licenses to upgrade thanks to a Volume Licensing program to access Windows 7 Enterprise.

See you soon.

No, there is no path not upgrading to this version of Windows XP Professional.  You will need to do a clean install, which of course would not preserve your settings and/or other software.

    No. two points:

    1. you can't do an update from XP to 7. You must either make a
Clean first installation or an upgrade to double - Vista, then 7. I have
recommend to do a double upgrade, because it doubles
    the risk of problems.

    2. you can't do any kind of update that changes the number of 'bits' of
Windows from 32 bit to 64 bit or vice versa.
So for these two reasons, a new facility would be necessary.

However, even if a new facility is possible, I recommend
against it since your time material XP is almost certainly elsewhere
underpowered to run Windows 7 without problem. And the purchase and upgrading of all
the necessary equipment is likely to cost more than simply buy a new
a computer that comes with Windows 7.

And another point. Switching from XP to Windows 7 will three
old versions to an old version. In my opinion, it would be much better to
Go to Windows 8, the current version.

  • Is it still possible to upgrade Windows Me on a very old computer?

Using an old computer as a spare and it has windows installed and am running out of my router, but if I can get it only updated to vista or something more recent would be great for the children.  I looked, and from what I understand, ME and 98 no longer in the system, and not a lot you can do about them.  Am I stuck with windows me on this computer for ever?

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Windows-Vista/get/system-requirements.aspx

Above is the minimum Vista System Hardware Configuration required to run the operating system.

Most older computers have not the modern requirements of material in support of Vista or Windows 7.

And it becomes very expensive try to upgrade.

An alternative best cheap and reliable (don't forget your motherboard is nearly 10 years old), is to buy a new computer with Vista or Windows7 pre-installed, Windows 7 preference, as is the latest operating system and an improvement over Vista.

  • Is it possible to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7 without loss of programs or DATA.

    Windows 7 upgrade

Running WIN XP and you want to upgrade to Windows 7, but the only way is to do a clean install, however you can do an upgrade to Vista XP and then upgrade to Windows 7? I don't want to really not resettled devices and software. Thank you

I have not yet tried, but yes, that would be the way to do it. Make sure your XP system is up to date and works as it should without any problem (never a good idea to upgrade if there are problems, which is just one question for the real problems).
You will also need to make sure that there are some Win7 drivers for the hardware you have. You can go out with Vista drivers on some things, but probably not on everything.

And before critics jump to say that you should NEVER update, always do a clean install, I must add that I did upgrades from any version of Windows from Win3.1, and the only time that I had a problem was from ME to XP. And who made no difference on how I did it because the problem was with the third IDE driver that was not under XP in any case. Suffice it to say "... :-)

  • Is it possible to upgrade Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1 has to Service Pack 3?

I have the original disc of the product. It came as Windows XP SP1a. At in the past (a few years ago), I've upgraded to SP2. I started to receive a STOP error message. I tried to repair the installation of Windows XP Edition family. I can't say for sure right now, but it seems that SP2 just disappeared..., do not know immediately. I always face the STOP error.

When I get things and rerun, can I put SP1a directly to SP3? I don't know the rules relating to the upgrade.

Ask the same question in a different way..., can I've actually updated to SP3 Service Pack while jumping on SP2?

Windows XP Home Edition has always been easy to use. I wouldn't lose it.

The answer could be just a YES or a no thank you for your time.

I don't know the rules relating to the upgrade.

I installed Windows 8.1 Overview, my restore disk will not work. Once all of the 8.1 release comes out, I'll be able to preview Windows 8.1 to the full release, without my recovery media? I tried creating a new recovery disk, which doesn't work anymore.

    Hello

I put t see no reason why it would not be possible to upgrade the OS to Win XP Pro.
You uprising received recovery Toshiba CD with WinXP home and all drivers and utilities was already preinstalled on this image.

If you want to upgrade the operating system, you can buy an original CD of Microsoft Windows XP Pro and you will need to install the drivers of Toshiba and utilities in the correct order. For most installation guide line is placed on the site driver of Toshiba.

I think that everything must be clear, that I forgot something. Windows XP Home and Pro uses the same drivers. Then you should be able to use the same drivers that are available on the page

  • Is it possible that I can buy an upgrade to Vista professional for Vista Ultimate?

company from vista upgrade to windows 7 ultimate

I have a PC where Vista Business came pre-installed.  I ignored the offer to upgrade to Windows 7, which was to come out soon.  Now, I need to use the bitlocker feature that is not available on my version of Vista.  It seems that my only option to achieve this functionality is upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and I need to buy a new license of Windows 7.  Is this correct?  Given that Windows 8 is expected this year there will be an offer for me to upgrade to it at a special rate?  Is it possible that I can buy just an upgrade of Vista professional for Vista Ultimate?  Thank you.

Because Anytime Upgrade is no longer available for Vista, you will need to buy a copy to standard retail or upgrade to Vista Ultimate.  Vista has been on the shelves of retailers for some time, you may need to look on online auction sites.

Remember that Vista Ultimate only adds multilingual, Bitlocker and Extras.  Are you sure that you need?

If you are seen Windows 7 please download and run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine the State of your current software under Windows 7.

Windows 8 is radically different from Vista and Windows 7.  Make sure that you preview before you buy.

My personal choice would be to continue using Vista Business or upgrade to Windows 7 Professional.  Windows 7 Ultimate does not even have Extras.

  • If I buy a copy of the oem version of Windows 7 is it possible to upgrade to Windows 10?

    * Original title: need help

If I buy a copy of the oem version of Windows 7 is it possible to upgrade to Windows 10?

Yes, you can upgrade from versions of Windows 7 OEM to Windows 10:

Please note that you must take advantage of the free upgrade offer before July 30, 2015.

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? Don't ask Microsoft. »)
