  When you export to DV - AVI, HD material will be down-rezzed, say to 720 x 480 in NTSC. You can choose Standard or widescreen. If you choose Widescreen, if any, will be lost. Not the case if your SD footage is Standard, but the project is Standard and you choose Standard for output. As I said above, there is a lot to think about and plan. Depends on your SD videos, because that's what you want to match up to.
