I have run the System File Checker (sfc/runnow} wich ligate without flaws. Finally, I deleted the file mediacenterdatastore which has also no effect. The last thing I want to do is reinstall my operating system, once again, so has anyone out there have any more ways to fix this error... Help!   Method 1.

  Try to use the Troubleshoot utility to see if that solves the problem.

  a. open the troubleshooting Windows Media Player settings Troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel.

  (b) in the search box, type "Troubleshooting" and then click Troubleshooting.

  c. click on show alland then click the Windows Media Player settings.

  Method 2.

  A clean boot to test if any element of service or third party application startup is causing this issue.
