  OK, so I installed a printer/scanner/copier (Brother MFC-240 c) and my (Dell Studio 1749) system became slow insainly! so I restarted. then the Windows Aero effect disappeared and that basic services has begun. so, basically is started in Mode safe without the trunk. I couldn't do anything requiring a parameter system, or something of the sort. I tried to restore it and I got a message that the required services could not be started! that has been the standard message for everything. I got it somehow to start as it should, but now Kaspersky is sayign databases are corrupted and I can't understand it. Well. But what I would do if it were to happen again? I finally restored the 17/09/10 somehow. IM fine with the way it is now, but I want to what to do if that should ever happen again, and what I can do to prevent it. any help would be amazing! Thank you!!!

• Acrobat hangs when scanning of the Brother MFC-L6700DW

  I installed the software/driver full brother on 2 different 10 Windows PC and get exactly the same result.  The printer prints very well and communicates.  However, Acrobat crashes when I try to scan from Acrobat X I have 3 other configuration of printers Brother on the same PC and can scan ok them.

  3. Select TW - Brohter MVC - L6700DW LAN scanner selection
  4. Click on scan
  5. The peripheral zone reading is displayed

• Gesture after the update changes mean I can't call stay through applications

  There are two settings 'App switching' on the settings/general Panel (wide on the right edge to show the charms, tap the charm of settings, tap "general" in the list).  These are the only settings I know that affect this app bar.

  FWIW, my RT updated this morning as well but I didn't notice any change in the behavior of the app bar.  I have both 'allow switching between applications' and ' when I drag...» "lit.  With these settings, when I drag from the left edge, I turn to the previous application and when I drag from the left and push the edge, I get a list of disabled applications currently displayed in the bar of the app.

  How to install the printer drivers for the brother MFC 6490 CW. I have the CD to install the driver and complete unit but there is a compatibility issue and I need to have the updated drivers? I also need to have the drivers saved on my computer so that when the device is plug-in with the USB cable it will be recognized and working properly. I tried to install the drivers from the international site of brothers with little or no lock is there a place to get updated drivers that are compatible with the newer versions of Windows so that I won't have to replace my printer and copier.   I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps:

  Scanning from the charger:

  Step 1: Click on the 'Start' button on your desktop and type 'brother' in the search field. Point to the name of your MFC and select "ControlCenterx" (where "x" is a number one digit) to load the ControlCenter application in the system tray to the left of the clock on your taskbar. Double-click the "ControlCenter" icon in the system tray.

  Step 2: Click on "Configuration" and select "Scan". Select 'File' as the type of scan to open the scan to the Configuration window.

  Step 3: Go to the 'Touch' tab and choose "PDF (*.)" (PDF),"" # no multi-page Tiff compressed (*.) " (TIF)"or" # Tablet multi-page Tiff (*.) " (TIF)"under File Types, as these types of files allow analyses of several pages.

  Step 4: Place the entire document in the ADF on the scanner and press the button "Scan" of the machine. Press the 'Arrow' key to select 'File' and press 'OK '. Press the button 'Start' to scan to a single document.

  Scan of the glass:

  Step 1: Lift the cover of the document on the Brother MFC, place the first page face down on the glass and close the lid.

  Step 2: Click the 'Start' button on the computer and in the search box, type "scansoft. "ScanSoft PaperPort" and select "PaperPort."

  Step 3: Select the Brother MFC as the scanner, and then select a profile, such as "B & W Document". Click on "search".

  Step 4: Remove the glass on the first page after that latter was analyzed and place the second page on the glass. Close the lid and click the button "Scan more Pages.

  Step 5: Browse all pages in the document one at a time. When you are finished, click the Finish"" button.

  According to brother Tech Support, brother does not support scanning or PC to Fax printers MFC (connected Ethernet) network.  Here is a direct quote to support Brother on 24/11/12:

  «Currently we have everything planned out a complete set of MFL Pro Suite software (Control Center, send/receive PC - Fax, etc.).» Scan of the MFC
