Is the dual display Tecra M3 possible?

Is it possible to have a double independent display on the Tecra M3, where different applications can be used in the different views?

Thank you

Nick

Hello

The Port of RGB (Monitor) should be placed on the right side.
Here, you can connect an external monitor. Then, it should be possible to activate the extended desktop.
The extended desktop option allows you to use a different application together.
For example; You can open the IE web browser on the internal display of books and on the external monitor you can work with outlook, word, etc.

  • Can I use the dual display with a background separately on each screen?

Using windows 7... I use two monitors, but I can't find anyway to display a background image to display separate on each monitor. I tried in my graphics card settings and configuration-display settings panel.

Very frustrating! It seems such a simple thing to do!

Windows 7 has no way to do it. However, you may be able to find a
third party program that adds the ability to Windows 7.

  • SX20 without dual display capable to share the presentation?

    Hello

I would just clear my doubt

SX20 is without option of dual display capable to share the presentation.

If I understand correctly the SX20 installation sheet

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/endpoint/quick-set-SX20/installation_guide/sx20_quick_set_installation_sheet_for_web.PDF

Connect your main display on the HDMI color blue.

With the dual display option, connect the second screen to the other HDMI output.

It means that I can still share presentation even without dual display option

    Best regards

    Hello

Yes, you need not dual display of the presentation.

  • How photoshop round of dual display, each with a different profile?

I am looking to buy the dual display for photo editing and would like to have each calibrated and profiled differently - 1 for web output and one for the print output. I use Mac OS and I understand that ICC (Photoshop and Lightroom) compatible applications use the system default profile to display the colors regardless of the operating system. I'm curious to know if photoshop is capable of managing 2 display profiles stored on the system to match each display? I am concerned that 1 only one profile can be defined by default and that he will use this profile for both screens.

Yes, it uses a different profile for each monitor.

But your thinking is dead wrong.  You do not calibrate and profile a monitor 'to print' or 'Web'.

You calibrate and profile a monitor to display the colors better, more precise and natural, it can handle.

The output is considered through Proofing (menu items "test" and "test colors" in the display menu of Photoshop), a topic on which you need to do a lot of reading.  Start with the help files in Photoshop.

  • Tecra S2 cannot switch to the external display

With my Tecra S2 and when it is docked in the Port Replicator APR - III, I used to be able to connect my external (via DVI) display so that it was to automatically screen output to we by default, not only to the windows startup screen (Yes, I noticed the topic on the forum at the start of windows) but also when display login screen and beyond.

Only problem now is that there is no more than anything, she now only sends the output to the external display when starting and then switches back to the computer screen displaying the screen Windows login and when you are connected to Windows.
Also after commissioning and connection, FN + F5 does not at all, even when you switch to DVI, display does not illuminate.

I feel that either the nVidia properties settings (double screen, unique, etc.) or the Mobile Extension Manager have something to do with it.
Anyone who knows the answer / solution to this problem?
Experts on the Mobile Extension Manager or several monitor in nVidia settings with of Toshiba Tecra?

    Hello

Well, as I know it is not possible to set the external monitor as a default monitor.
I use a Satellite phone and sometimes I plug it into the external monitor and use the extended desktop option.
During notebook startup procedure the windows boot image will appear on the second screen, but the user name and the operating system appears on the screen of the laptop.
I think you can use the external monitor but you can't set it as a default monitor and you can use it if the operating system has been released.

You comment is simply not qualified.

    @Hein
You said that you have installed you mobile again. Did you use the Tosh recovery CD?
If this isn't the case, I think this might be a reason for the FN key anomaly.
After recovery use the laptop must switch with FN + F5 external peripheral connected to the laptop.
If you use try beamer to turn the trap settings.

    Hello

The question is what that jack the external display supports?
I think that you can connect each external monitor, but you must be sure that the laptop will support the cable from the laptop.
In addition, the resolution of the screen may be different. As far as I can remember that some screen resolutions are not listed in the properties of the graphics card. But I think that you don't need to use the resolution of the screen exactly one.

I recommend taking the laptop at the dealership to monitor and its connection. You can check the output quality of monitor and what resolutions are available and taken care of. I think that testing before buying something are very useful.

Is it possible to hide a conditional function in responsibility. Say it together a small number of users, I need the function display and for some users, it must be hidden.

    Hello

The normal thing to do is to create a similar additional responsibility and using Exclusions to 'hide' the features you want.

Then assign it to restricted users.

  • dual display will not work with the interactive whiteboard

I am a teacher with my Pavilion entertainment pc with vista to connect to an interactive whiteboard in the classroom. It has stopped working for no apparent reason and the Whiteboard does not recognize laptop. I used the customization - to connect to the external display, but without success. I'm sure it has something to do with the resolution but don't know how to fix it and go back to how it was. Why just change one day himself?

    Hi Dobbo64,

    Try the following steps.

This could be a problem with the display drivers. You update the display drivers and check if the problem persists.

Download and install the latest drivers to display on the computer:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

If updating the drivers does not help then, try the system restore on your computer.

  • Placement of the icon on the desktop, dual display

    Hello.

I recently found when I put in place the double display for my PC, if the two screens are both set to 1920 x 1080, the line from the bottom of my desktop icons is partly hidden under the taskbar. I tried to change the size of icons, but no luck. The only way I've found is if the extended secondary display is to set it to 1680 x 1050.

It seems that the extended secondary display picture alignment exactly on any size icons is set to.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

  • 7 merger, El Capitan, dual display: Windows now refuses to use the second screen

    Fusion 7.1.2

    End 2012 27 "iMac (2560 x 1440, 2.9GHz i5, 24GO RAM) with a 24 '' Dell Ultrasharp (1920 x 1200) connected by a Thunderbolt-HDMI connector cable.

Guest operating system Windows 7 (and a couple of VM Ubuntu, not relevant here).

Before, I would start merging and Windows 7 would start automatically, as it has to do. He will start in his own space and use two screens, with the windows desktop 'main' (with the taskbar on the screen of the Mac) and the Dell used to extend space office (just like OSX).

I just upgraded to OSX to El Capitan and now it's borked:

1 Windows 7 starts automatically with Fusion (despite still be configured for this purpose). It is a minor annoyance but nothing more.

    2. that's the real problem:

Windows displays the "BIOS" screen, and then the graphic screen "starting windows", then goes black. In preview VM library, I can see the login screen, but in the space of Windows, nothing. Just black.

When it happened first, I disconnected the monitor Dell, rebooted, logged on to Windows on one screen, then plugged the Dell back in and it worked. However, reconnected the external monitor on each startup of the machine is not my idea of fun or "just work".

I changed the display settings of VM Win7 molten (changed "use full resolution for the retina display" section, "Scaled high resolution" 'Unity only' drop-down to "all display modes" and now I can see the Windows login screen in half the width and height of the main screen.) If I log in I get two desktops to a Windows display value, crammed into the width, and half of the height of the 27 "display, with nothing on the external monitor. No amount of reconnected does not change this.

I restarted the VM and OSX more than once since upgrading to El Capitan, so a simple reboot won't be the solution.

    Help!

He drives me crazy, any suggestions?

I had another couple of VM Ware support calls and there is a solution (which works for me) and a fix promised in the next version of Fusion 8 (I presume it comes to version 8.0.2) which should be days (rather than weeks) away.

The fix may or may not be folded in to Fusion 7.

The workaround is: parameters of OSX--> Mission control--> check "screens have a separate space.

The downside is that when dragging between spaces, you often have to swipe the two screens, top menu bars have more two screens in OSX, but I can cope with it for a few days.

  • To display the Panel of the accordion and to modify the text inside at the same time, is it possible?

What I want to do is change the text on the component - button, which is in a container - accordion, but I always fail at first, flex reports error "null." I'm clear on the reason, because I have never
initialize that accordion, but hopefully show the accordion panel and modify the text
    Furthermore, is it possible?
It will be appreciated any suggestions in this regard.

If you don't care startup performance, you can set the creationPolicy
on the accordion at all. Otherwise, you can try either using a test
(like creationComplete on the button) or use data binding to 'pull' data
in the button once it is initialized.
