Is the fault of the graphics card on my Satellite M30X-131?

All direct 3D applications not to run more and then the delivery of videos there are all over the screen of vertical stripes.
I tried to install several drivers, but without success.
In the event that the graphics card has a default is it possible to repair or replace it?

Unfortunately, my laptop warranty expired 10 weeks ago.
Thank you for your help.

Hello

You must first know what's exactly wrong.

Try to connect the external monitor to laptop computers and check if the same vertical stripes will appear on the second screen.
If you notice the same problem, then it s definitely something wrong with the graphics chip of the card.

It would be a worse:(car plus souvent la carte mère entière doit être remplacée.)
But maybe you re a lucky guy and the card are only glued on the MB and the technician would be able to remove it.

Whatever, I don t think you will be able to fix it yourself and so you should contact the ASP in your country for details and further handling.

Good luck

  • Cannot be the graphics card 256 MB - Satellite A210-C11

OK, here's the problem. I have an ATI X 1200 with 128 MB and I would like to extend it up to 256 MB. The problem is that I can t do. The reason?

I n don't know where. I tried in the BIOS but nothing, CCC nothing, even if the card is expandable to 831.

    PLS HELP! :)

I'm afraid, there is no option to do this and it works automatically. With more RAM, graphics card can use more memory for graphics operations. It is similarly on laptops equipped with Intel graphics with the sharing of technology cards.

  • What is the graphics card in my Satellite L500/08 p?

    I can't play a game that I bought and it explains the requirements of minimum graphics card are;
DirectX 9 .0c - compatible video card (ATI Radeon 9200 or NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 with 128 MB of RAM) or more.

It's good enough to play my portable game?

    Hello

Do a search on Google, I found L500 series are equipped with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 or Intel Intel GMA 4500 M. It is enough for your laptop to run this game. Perhaps, you should choose high performance, in the power management. It depends also what game you want to play

  • Is it possible to expand the graphics card in my Satellite L830-B355?

I use 3ds max softwear my laptop (L830-B355). But I can't use certain features of 3ds max softwear. What is a graphics card problem?
Now its only 1 GB graphic card.can I develop?

What should I do to fix this... ?

This software is not for me so I can not say much. GPU is not changeable, so you can't be updated.
All you can do is use more RAM and more memory will be available for graphics operations.

Have you ever talked with 3DS max support? What they have to say about this issue?
I mean they know clean products and can offer a good assistance and advice for you.

If you're looking for a little bit in the forum, then you would find additional threads regarding this theme.
And all threads provide the same answer; No it's not possible to upgrade the GPU.
The GPU is a part of the motherboard and you can't delete it, because it s welded.

  • Can I replace the graphics card on Satellite Pro A100

    Hi all

Just a quick question about the graphics card in my Satellite pro a100 computer laptop. I heard different stories about this.

The ATI RAdeon Mobility x 1400 card can be replaced on this laptop. If so how easy it is to do and how I could tell which cards would be compatible?

    Thank you

    MAcca.

You cannot remove, replace or update the graphics card.
The graphics chip is attached to the motherboard and it of not possible to remove it.
In addition, the motherboard is compatible only with the current graphics chip.

    Good bye

  • MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee

    Hi all

end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

    My questions:

    • After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
    • What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?

Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...

I would appreciate any recommendations and links!

    Best regards

    Rahel

-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board

-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.

-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?

This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.

  • Main problems to upgrade the graphics card in my Mac Pro in 2006.

I am trying to upgrade the graphics card OEM in my Mac Pro 2006 to a Radeon HD 4870 1 GB graphics card.  I have big problems.  The previous owner recommended that my BONES 10.7.5 uninstalling and reinstalling.  I don't know how to do this.  The Apple website was no help with this issue.  The previous owner gave me a lot of procedures I've ever done before, including removing and re-creation of my RAM and using a Kext troubleshooting application.  Any suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

a 4870 with 1 GB of VRAM is not a real Mac card (who had only 512 MB of VRAM). Unlikely to show an image until the login screen, if ever. Unless the seller has a 100% guaranteed working procedure to get this working, I recommend you return for a refund - it is not likely to work in your Mac.

A true 5770 Mac or 5870 is the best approach for a 2006 or 2007 Mac Pro, because they are known to work with everything except movies under copyright, and your Mac is stuck in the 32-bit kernel and pre - 10.7.5 MacOS.

I am able to update the graphics card in my iMac end 2012? I know that this is not a gaming computer, but I want to be able to play low end games. Is this possible?

    # You don't have a 'card' in this model. Starting with 2012 models graphics hardware was inseparable and soldered to the logic board. Looks like this:

    Hello

No, it is not possible because the graphics card is a little tiny chip that has been set on the motherboard of s. The design of the graphics card is not the same as on the desktop PC.
