is the processor intel celeron cpu processor 2.93ghz a 64 bit or 32 bit? I keep finding different specifications.

I think of upgrading my XP to Windows 8.  The wizard upgrade says that my system is consistent, but I also

found a post that said a 64-bit processor is required.  When I arrived the a1200y Pavilion, I felt she had a 64-bit processor.  I checked with one of the programs in the list of my system and noted as an x 86 processor.

Not a 64-bit.  My computer's complete model number is: EK457AV-ABA a1200y.  I know it's old and I get into nu -.

trace of water, but I can not resist the opportunity to upgrade for 39.00 AND get Windows Media Center free of charge.

Any information would be appreciated.

Your system has a 32-bit celeron processor.

The following link will offer you if HP has tested your system for Windows 8:

If your system is not tested, HP will not release the drivers directly for your site template Web HP.com.

  • MacBook Pro random high utilization of the processor (iCoreService/DCAManager using + 400% CPU?)

    Hello

I'm running an Early 2011 Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 with a 2.2 GHZ Quad Core i7 processor 1 TB Samsung 840 EVO SSD and 16 GB of RAM Crucial. I noticed for about a month, I'm going to do a simple task or two on my Mac, then all of a sudden I noticed spikes CPU temporary, 90 + degrees C and the kick of fans trying to cool high speed. Well, I don't know why this is happening when I do nothing to justify a high utilization of the processor. I'm used to the CPU running hot when I do something intensive graphic as running Autodesk Inventor CAD software, run a machine virtual or even watch a 1080 p @ 60 fps video on youtube (it is the lowest resolution that requires the Mac switch to the dedicated AMD Radeon 6750 M GPU that usually eventually warm it quickly) , but this use high random that happens when I have Mail open in the background, and one tab open with a 720 p @ 30 fps video Youtube open (or even less). I took a few screenshots of the activity Manager indicating the best processes and Intel Power Gadget indicating the temperature of the CPU:

Does anyone know what are iCoreService and/or DCAManager and why they use so much of my CPU when this happens? And someone has encountered this weird behavior before? Thanks in advance!

The most likely cause is an applicztion you have running that is corrupt and forcing them to use the CPU too. Were you able to kill the process in activity monitor? If you have not yet tried to do, so I'll try that first. I would also try to quit all open applications.

If you start the computer in Safe Mode , you can test if the problem is still there. If it isn't, usually means something that is managed by you start-up or an application that you use may be the cause.

If not, is that I can use the Intel Pentium 2.20 GHz TJ85 B960, or are the two compatible? I thank you in advance for any response or any light you may be able to do about it.

  • Pavilion g6-1262sa: HP Pavilion g6-1262sa - upgrade the processor (intel i3 - 2330 m-?)

Hi, as the topic I'm looking for information on upgrading my cpu of intel i3 - 2330 m to something more powerful which corresponds to my motherboard.

All my research is based on maintenance and maintenance of manual g6 far. http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02968997.PDF

I'd be happy if someone could answer some of my questions.

    1. do all processors listed on pages 23 and 24 are compatible with my motherboard (or bios)?

    2. If so - this means that location processor is compatible with the processor series mobile amd and intel? (sounds unlikely to me)

    3. what cpu would generally fit better lightweight casual games? I'm thinking the i7 - 2620M (or one of the albums i5s) or if the answer to question 2 is "Yes" - worst sage cpu but graphics wise better AMD A6 - 3400M?

Looking forward to some responses, RacA

    Hello:

    1. all processors intel are compatible up to i7 2620 Mr. your Council to support only integrated graphics system - which is provided by Intel.

    2. only the Intel.

3 Intel Core i7 2620 M has only integrated graphics card. No graphics chip dedicated to your room. So for the play of light, your current processor is good enough for i7 2620 M and two i3 2330 M has integrated graphics card Intel HD 3000.

The overall system performance might be slightly increased with i7 2620 M.

    Hello

I think some sort of background process CPU stress.
You can check this in the task-> processes tab Manager
Click the CPU column to get the ordered process and to show all processes that emphasize the CPU.

Closing or disabling of these processes can reduce the performance of the processor.

    Hello:

You can't do the things that you asked your model laptop, except to intall a larger hard drive (maybe up to 250 GB).

No other motherboards will fit in the case. An i series processor does not work with your current motherboard.

Very doubtful an SSD will work in your model.

There are so many factors that determine how fast things are going to happen in Lightroom

    • Memory (quantity and speed)
    • Size of Photos
    • Processor speed
    • (32-bit or 64-bit) operating system?
    • specific actions requested in Lightroom
    • Disk speed

There is no way anyone can really give an answer to how fast things will take place in Lightroom. The best solution is to download the free 30 day trial of Lightroom and see for yourself how well it runs on your computer

  • CPU Ready, the processor affinity, and why I don't seem to get the expected performance

I have a host that is a physical 2 Quad core 2.66 Ghz socket with 10 GB of RAM.  3i ESX 3.5 is installed.  I have only 2 virtual machines on this computer.  Everyone has 4vCPU and 4 GB of RAM.

When virtual machines are idle and the app is works not only I see low CPU utilization and CPU Ready is a modest 100-200 on each processor.  When the application is not running, the CPU usage rises to about 10,000 MHz as expected.   However, CPU Ready also climbs to 6000-9000ms, which is by FAR more than I expect.

I have set the processor affinity for one of the virtual machines gets 0-3 and the other 4-7.

Why CPU ready would be mounted so high?  With only these 2 VM I would expect ready to be almost 0 CPU.

Remember however each VM has 4 vCPUs with your two virtual machines that you will use all 8 cores as well as the service (which is still running on cpu0) console and vmkernel so there will certainly be contention climb CPU ready time - first question do you really need quad vcpu? You can try a simple vcpu - if you need to start vSMP with dual vcpu virtual - also do NOT set affinity let the vmkernel annex vms approriately
