Is the Radeon HD 6450 A 24/96 or 24/192

I reformatted my Lenovo Q 180, and it is to show the supported audio 24/96 bit sound on HDMI. I think if I remember correctly, I saw HDMI support for audio 24/192. But I don't recall. Support 24/192? And if it supports 24/192 bit sound how to set up for 24/192bits? Help, please

If you right-click the speaker next to your clock and goto reading devices then click on properties and speakers, and then change the default format of quality studio (24 bits, 192000 hz)

  • Acer TC - 120 - PCI-e Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1 GB working?

    Hello.  First post.

I have a TC-120 Acer desktop computer, it works fine, but as I wanted to play a new generation of games I tried to install a graphics card, the Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1 GB.

When I have it insert into my PCI e slot I have no release the map or graph on the PC.  The turn came with a power supply to about 240 ~-300 W, I upgraded to a POWER 600 W PSU, but still the new GPU will give no output.

The bios does not appear to include all the options of GPU or PCIe cards.

Any help is appreciated.  Thank you people of Acer.

    aj8787,

Your graphics card seems to be a riser.  Your BIOS is UEFI.  My advice would be to buy a UEFI graphics like gtx 750 or 950 gtx, but you will need to do some measure and research to see what card will fit as they come in different sizes. Some may be too big and not suited.

To get your card HD 6450 inherited to work, some people have had success is UEFI/BIOS settings and disabling secure boot and activating "launch MSC always."  But do not know if it will work in your case.  And there are obviously some added security risk when you disable secure boot.

Your computer works best with a new UEFI graphics card.

It is also possible that you may need to update your BIOS. I'm not sure.

Edit: I do not work for Acer and I don't have your computer model and I do not know what operating system you have.

    Hello

replaced before the first start the connected with my Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 FleX 1 GB DDR3 PC (3 displays were used in parallel) which worked fantastic in the previous Inspiron 570. When you turn it on, no signal on one of the three appears.

My old system was a power of 300W power made a new one. Despite the support recommended 500W power supply I doubt that that will be the question.

Can anyone recommend to me what to do, please?

Thank you very much in advance!

If your computer came with Windows 8 installed and your aftermarket graphic card isn't UEFI firmware, you must configure your computer as follows:

Turn off your computer and connect your monitor to the original video release came with your computer.

Restart your computer. During the POST, when the DELL logo appears, press the F2 key several times until the Setup menu is displayed.

The arrow keys, go to the Startup tab.

Change of control of the Secure Boot to disabled.

Legacy OPROM support must be enabled.

Press F10 to save and exit.

Turn off your computer, connect your monitor to the graphics card of aftermarket and restart your computer.

  • Re: Satellite P200D - 11L: where can I find the latest drivers for the Radeon HD 2600

    Hello

Where can I find the latest drivers for the Radeon HD 2600? The Catalyst 7.11 since the official site of Ati/Amd works on a laptop? I read some stuff that these drivers do not support mobile maps and that there is a software for this problem, so I'm a bit confused now.

What about drivers on the Toshiba site? They are more suitable? I don't really know.

    Thanks for your help.

Of origin ATI/nVidia drivers are not designed for Toshiba laptops.
ATI drivers can be used on desktop computers.
The drivers of Toshiba graphics card supports thermal protection which is necessary to avoid the increase in temperature.
Laptops, graphics cards do not have huge as cooling office modules graphics cards and therefore the GPU driver control the performance of the graphics card.

    What you could do is to check the site driver for 3rd party such as;
    www.OmegaDrivers.net.

But the non-Toshiba drivers may be used only at your own risk!

Windows 7 64 bit, core AMD FX 6120 6, 10 GB of RAM.

Are there problems in the sectoral approach get the computer up and running again?

    Thank you!

    Hello

A video card with certain powers, such as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 it in the office, I use, requires a minimum of 450 Watts and two PCIe 6-pin power connectors to operate. The specification of the manufacturer of a video card will specify what power is needed and how the PCIe power connectors are needed. I usually install OCZTechnology, Corsair or PC Power & Cooling brands that are well known in the enthusiast PC and professional circles IT. avoid no-name brands to avoid disappointment.

This means that the standard 300 Watt power supply of your PC is not just enough.

The video card that is currently in your office is a low-power video card that requires minimal power to operate, but unfortunately also doesn't have a lot of video processing power.

You can find the video that will show you how do it if you feel comfortable enough to make yourself. You can also pay to have done by a tech in a store, if you think you need.

It is strongly recommended that the PSU have the following specs or better. ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2. These specifications ensure that the power supply will have connectors that requires your PC.

Due to the limited space in the case of an OEM PC like yours, it is also suggested that food being of modular type.

  • Blue screen after the installation of the Radeon HD 3450 video card driver

Original title: I get a blue screen on vista after installing the drivers for my radeon HD 3450 graphics card, windows 7 works very well

Hi all, hoping someone can direct me towards a solution...

Have a 2.8GHz Celeron RAM 2 GB machine, install videocard ATO Radeon HD 3450 AGP.

Equipped with Windows Vista 32-bit, install ATI driver from the ATI site, all installs OK but on reboot, we get BSOD.

HOWEVER, same machine, running Windows 7 Professional, all installs them and works fine! (it is the same driver ATI for Vista and 7).

We tried a new installation of Vista, even tried Vista business and Enterprise editions. Same results.

Latest system drivers and not BIOS updated avaialable. Vista installation had Enterprise with SP1 and enterprise with Service Pack 2 included.

I have google, downloaded ATI drivers, reloaded OS and drivers, and little matter what we try Vista causes BSOD and 7 works very well!

If we try the latest beta version of the ATI driver, he refuses to detect the card in Vista, everything works fine in Win 7.

    Any suggestions? Please? !!

  • Dell Vostro 3550 (core i5), impossible to install the Radeon AMD driver

    Dear concern,

When I try to install the Radeon AMD driver it does not appear compatible hardware found! But I see in the dell drivers Download Center there's AMD Radeon drivers!

So, my laptop does not support the driver AMD Radeon! Help, please.

    Thank you.

Look in the Device Manager - if you see two video cards listed, you do not have the AMD GPU.  If you see only one (Intel), you have only an Intel GPU.

This system was sold with Intel only (base model) and hybrid systems (upper range models) Intel/AMD GPU.

  • Satellite P30-145: where to find the Radeon 9700 Mobility for Vista drivers

Does anyone at - he had a success get drivers ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 to arrive correctly on a P30-145 on the RTM of Vista version? Currently, everything seems to be detected ok but I get an error in saying Device Manager: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) "Googling didn't turn out much more than a certain number of people see this same error and it could be necessary an update of the BIOS, or the problem may be in the area of drivers ACPI?

Outside the upcoming graphics card not properly the only other comment I have is that system standby support doesn't seem to appear and that the cooling fan is continuously on, both of which I'm sure that can be fixed with a Toshiba release.

All had experiences with Vista and Satellite P30?

    Hello

I have no Satellite P30, but it will be interesting to see what kind of support Toshiba will arrange for older models of laptops and where will be the last limitation (how the old units will be supported).

AFAIK P30 is about two years old and we will see if the units in the year 2005 will be Vista supported. Official start is January 2007. Before that I n t believe you will get official info. I just hope that my Satellite Pro M70 will be supported.

    In any case good luck!

  • Clock speed of the Radeon HD 4650 in the Satellite P300-23F

    Hi all!

I am interested by the Satellite P300-23F because of its nice, these two drives huge CPU and - finally and above all - good price. But I can't estimate exactly its graphics performance, because I could not find information about the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 used in this book's exact clock speeds.
Did someone already has a P300-23F? If you do, could you please read the core and the memory clocks the GPU with a tool such as the CCC or GPU - Z? Perhaps you have also information about the temperatures of the CPU and HARD drive and also on the performance of the HARD drive?

    Thank you...

    Hello

To be honest I m P300 owner but not the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 is known as M96 ATI with DDR3 (1 GB) of graphics ram.
I think that it s is not easy to say some details about the exact chip GPU clock speed because it of always different. It depends on the use of the laptop and the temperature.
You must know that the performance of the GPU are controlled by the graphics driver and if the temperature increases to a critical level, that the pilot might slow down the chip so decreases the heat dissipation.

The temperature of the processor and HARD drive depends on the use of the laptop too.
If you run games high performance, then the temperature increases to a higher level and would be higher than the execution of only a few common tools such as MS Office Word for example.

However maybe someone could put some values and details, it would be really interesting.

  • 15 - j104ax: How can I know HDMI maximum resolution? (ENVY 15-j104ax with the Radeon HD 8750 M)

    I use this laptop, the ENVY 15-j104ax with AMD APU A10 - 5750M and Radeon HD 8650 G + HD 8750 M Dual Graphics.

My laptop has HDMI port, and I want to know the maximum resolution of HDMI from my laptop.

I would buy screen QHD (2560 x 1440 or 2560 x 1600), but I don't know if this HDMI supports this high resolution.

The following link is AMD graphic sheet on my chart.

    http://www.AMD.com/en-us/products/graphics/notebook/8700m-8800m#

If please see the 8700 M features section and search for "HD 8750 M Series GPUS".

Interface memory is 2 GB memory DDR3 (graphics memory)

And one that he is a specification, complete more dedicated. Please look at page 11

    http://www.AMD.com/documents/AMD-Radeon-HD-8000M-series-GPU-specs.PDF

My chart based on GPU - Z, is connected with PCIe 2.0x8.

And, when you look at the full features, it says that my graphic supports HDMI with 4K (maximum resolution: 4096 x 2160).

I know that my graphics chip support this resolution, but I don't know port HDMI supports.

Anyone know how I can see max resolution of the HDMI?

or is there someone who has used the same laptop as mine and more Full-HD monitor? (As 2 K, 4 K, 2560 x 1440, etc.)

    Thank you.

  • Windows XP Pro does not correctly load after the release of the Radeon graphics driver

    Hello

I have a Shuttle XPC with Windows XP Pro and an ATI Radeon Sapphire graphics card. The entire system is 5-6 years, if that helps my raw description.

My graphic card Radeon has had performance problems, so I downloaded ATI "autodetect tool" and he did choose the update of the driver concerned. After installation and reboot, my PC load Windows XP, but remains unused in ' grainy 8 colors low resolution version ' of my office. No icons, toolbar or whatever it is well visible. The mouse moves the pointer autour, but does not respond to clicks. The only combination of keys which gives anything is Ctrl + Alt + Delete, raise the usual options (in this case useless) to lock the computer, close the session, stop etc.

In short, it seems that I'm not really on my desk, even if it loaded my wallpaper by default.

'Safe mode' or "last working configuration" does not take me anywhere useful.

How to contact with the system to at least start to change my settings for graphics cards?
