Is there a good way to find all references to a table or a column?

I have recently inherited an application large apex and receive requests to make changes.  I would like to ensure that any changes that I could do on a table or a column in a table affect application pages which I think are involved.  However, demand is high, and I'm assuming that it is possible for other pages may refer to the same column or table, and I was not aware of these references (at least until after he breaks once I have change the column or table).

My question is this: is there an integrated report, or a way to query apex, who will tell me ALL references to an application to a particular table or column?  This way I could fix all pages in the application, rather than waiting to break.

Look to the upper right while in the Application Builder, for the area of the search Application .  Enter any string you want and APEX will search to find and view a report that contains a link.  Click the link and APEX will show the page and control chain concerned.

Here's another way; query the table APEX seen through this code:

    What actually are you looking for? On Windows 7, your options will be under Tools > Options. If you have the Firefox menu, you can press Alt to temporarily activate the menu bar.

    The details of your system say Linux. Say you're on Windows 7 However, correct?

    I know a simple way is easy make a copy planning essbase cubes.  However, is there text, attachments and support details, these will be lost unless there is a way to archive a RDBMS repository data for planning.  Even in this case - all links and hooks of the Essbase cubes in these RDBMS repository will be broken.

    The old fashion method is to print all reports in PDF and archiving.

    Given that the plan changes every month, reprocess you history until you check in?

    This can be done in 2 ways...

    1. just make a copy of the old 'DATA' in text file or another essbase cube history. Clear only the historical data for the current application. This will keep other information as text in the intact cell. In case the user wants to refer to the old texts/support cell details they can do by going directly into the application and for part of data, they can look in old PDF report.

    2. a copy of the planning application to create a copy of the current request. Keep all old data, text etc in old app of cells. All previous reports also point this app. Then erase current app and can be simply provide read access to older data App users can be trained to use older applications for all historical data and current app for existing budgets. Also this app can be used during the period of archiving all data.

    I want to create internal links to a number of places in my page. I use DW 2015 on Mac OS. My version of DW no longer has an Insert > named anchor works (probably because that HTML 5 is recommended to use the attributes id instead), but I can't find a way to find all my id attributes so I can quickly create these internal links. It seems that I should be able to find these easily.

    Incidentally (and I speak to the authors of the DW online help), the online help States still I should create anchors by adding > anchor named, which does not exist in my version (unless it was hidden, really, really well). Thanks in advance for any help, advice, etc.

    Some online help items are a bit outdated.  Named anchors are gone.  As far as I KNOW, there is no menu to quickly identify the IDs other than the use of Find (Ctrl / Cmd + F).

    What is the most correct? Or maybe the two are quite right?

    Dbms_output is a good way of packing to write messages for debugging PL/SQL code.  It is not very good for anything else.  It is particularly inappropriate for the error messages, since the output can easily be missed, if it is never displayed at all.

    The second way you posted (STIMULUS) is good.  Create user-defined exceptions and RAISE them explicitly.

    It's pretty simple.  I usually just drag and drop the files I want.

    If Apple never stops this utility, I think I'm going to cry!

    My verion of oracle: oracle 10G

    If I pull a query something like:

    Select * from user_source, where the text as 'CLASSIFICATION %.

    He will return me lines and helping me refine my search on a simple 100 lines to find a reference to a table called "WC_CLASSIFICATION_D" and tells me to say what all the packages have a reference for this table. But the thing is its letting me know for a particular user, now lets say if I have about 20 users in my database, with each single user written some packages containing the reference to the same table, how do I know which.

    PS: I hope I'm clear with my question, I'll have a feeling, is that there will be a table tht can contain the username for the entire database... Help, please

    Better yet, DBA_SOURCE (if you have access).

    USER_SOURCE contains the source for all objects in PL/SQL, owned by the current user.
    ALL_SOURCE contains the source for all PL/SQL objects for which the current user has at least some privileges. (Well, there's a requriement of privilege so that it can be seen here, it may be more subtle than my statement of 'at least some privileges'.)
    DBA_SOURCE contains the source for all PL/SQL objects in the database.

    This convention of naming/privilege is used for most of the SYS catalog views (USER_TABLES, USER_OBJECTS, etc..)
    Each user has access to views USER_ and ALL_ views, but different users may see different content. DBA_ views are generally not public; you have need of a privilege for example SELECT ANY DICTIONARY to see.

    Furthermore, USER_SOURCE doesn't have the source view or materialized views. Use USER_VIEWS and USER_MVIEWS if those you need.

    There were some cases where the new indicator that I created was actually overlaps the other indicator which was hidden at the time of development.

    I knew only when the program is operating normally and the hidden indicator will appear on the front panel.
