  This is probably a ridiculously simple question, but I have scoured my book resources and can't seem to find the answer, although I find the topic. (And I'm new to Dreamweaver but by my question, which is no doubt already apparent). So, on my index page (oamasters.com), when I added a border to the image on top, the border was blue. However, on the page pictures, when I added a border to the border color was black. I know not how/if/when I put one of those, but now I need to change and don't know where to go.   Use CSS.  Add this to your embedded CSS or external style sheet.

  IMG {border: 4px solid #0062C 8 ;}}

  It is a light blue border around all the images in your site.  Change the color and width (px) to be agreed.

  Hello

  In the project Panel, you can call the display of metadata (right click on any column). In this context, choose Basic > note. You will then be able to evaluate by stars.

  I am convert several projects Cp4 Cp5. I would change all the text captions of their current type of legend to the one I use now. Types of caption and text inside them being independent, I would change the font as well. I can do manually, of course, but is there a better way?

  Hello

  Check if the legends of text all use the same style of the object (perhaps Style default caption)? If so, change the text captions and choose then apply this to all objects with... (in the Center, curved arrow icon). If you want to add captions more with the same style, be sure to also save this as the default style (second icon, the floppy).

  I am looking for a quick way to change the hyperlinks have a rectangle invisible around recangle visible with blue color clear. I have 20 links it will take me five minutes to do it by hand, but nevertheless is a tedious task and if the number of links that will be more times in the future.

  I did a search and found some sort of a Script in Indesign Secrets, but I don't know if there are 20 links (I have little idea of manufacture and adaptation of scripts, in addition to the light blue color, I want) it's worth the time.   If you want visible rectangles of reader by default, just select all the links in the links Panel and change "hyperlink... options. "(retractable menu) from the invisible to the visible (do not change any other field).

  There is no way to change the spacing of app icon. Have you tried to use folders on your home screen?

  I see not where do under preferences: accounts > incoming mail server, but it is grayed out. How can I change this? I don't mind editing a file. The obvious answer "Delete the account and add a new charge" seems all brain-numbingly stupid, especially because we USED to be able to edit this field! Not sure when it changed.

  You're in the wrong place.  Go to System Preferences > accounts Internet and select the appropriate account.  Click on the DETAILS button and you should find the server info.

  Sorry to say but you need to try to walk before you can run. Your script has many serious errors and will never run in its current form. Some of its problems:

  • You use "Goto" instructions VBScript does not support.
  • You use "Select" without a matching 'End Select' statements.
  • You have several subroutines of the same name.
  • You have subroutines without instructions from matchine "End Sub".

  Start with something simple to learn structures and VB Script syntax. view the Script Repository to see what other people did. Learn to distinguish good and bad scripts scripts (because not all of the scripts in the repository are good scripts!).

  PS You initially asked why you were unable to run your scripts. I tried to give you some advice. It would be nice if you have now explained what was the problem rather than to simply say "I found another way.

  With your extended description, I know now exactly what you mean. I am facing similar situations frequently, where I have several paragraphs that I need to paste it into a single element, then divide each paragraph in its own element.

  Unfortunately, FM has no native functionality to automate this process, despite the way it must be pretty common need. In my case, I'm a developer FDK and hacked together a small plugin it does. ExtendScript could also be used. If you don't want to do programming, then the other option is a conversion table. You will need to paste the content in a document completely unstructured, run the conversion process to structure, then copy the items newly covered in your DITA topic. You cannot run the conversion process on a document that currently has any structure.

  So to summarize, you must make some scripts/programs or learn how to build a conversion table. If this interests you, find conversion tables in the Structure Developer's Guide. In this case, it would be an exceptionally simple conversion table, perhaps even just a single line. If you have to do this process several times, I think it would be worth your time to study.
