  Are what environment you referring?  What did you delete?

  Let us know if you can start the computer in safe mode and works as expected.

  Access the menu advanced startup options by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. Boot advanced options, select the menu safe mode.

  DJ, the version number is in the subject line: 5.7.1. It's weird because this version should support the D5300 very well. My main guess would be a bad player or a bad USB cable.

  These methods should help for Windows 7 or Vista.

  References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

  You can try to fix it with Safe Mode - repeatedly press F8 as you bootup. THE ADMIN
  Safe Mode account has no default password (so unless someone changed
  the password should be available).

  Some programs such as the Google Updater (if you've added the Google toolbar,
  Chrome or Google Earth) has been known to cause this problem.

• I said that I have to install Chrome to place an order at Walmart. What should the Chrome that Firefox does not work?

  I have placed several orders of Wal-Mart before today using Firefox without any problems. But today, nothing but problems. I tried for more than 4 hours, get this order to cross.   All started when I tried to pay my order at 13:00 this afternoon. I am persistent and don't give up easily. Five hours later, I found an error in their programming, which allowed me to add an item to my shopping cart that was a purchase in store only. But then when I went to pay for it, he became confused and wouldn't let me order but didn't tell me why.

  I solved by moving all items in the basket to saved for later and then add one at a time, trying to get to the car after each addition. It took a while because there are 20 items.   My Firefox is just there is an update and the problem with the Schwab page disappeared. I think that all changed two updates there was amended to take account of the situation. I know that Schwab was looking into it, it is also possible that they have changed something in their homepage. Anyway, problem solved!

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  I have a laptop of Lenovo Z560.  It has Windows 7, 64-bit, Home Premium installed.  I installed all the updates of Windows available.  However, Windows Update does not offer SP1.  I did some research and Microsoft KB 2498452:

  I have Igdkmd64.sys 8.15.10.2104.  I went to the download page for the Z560 Lenovo support files, but it only offers the old version of the same file.  I then went to the Intel support page.  When I tried to install the latest video driver Intel for mobile i5 CPU, I got an error message: "the pilot is not validated for this computer.  You can get the correct driver from the manufacturer of the computer. »

  I think I need to at least update the Igdkmd64.sys file so Windows Update will offer SP1.  How can I update this file?  Is there a way I can still use the Intel, Win7Vista_64_152254.exe driver package?  I extracted the last igdkmd64.sys Intel driver package ZIP file.  This is the version 8.15.10.2622.  I copied this file on the old version in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers.  When I rebooted the laptop gave me an error message and does not load the video drivers.  The resolution is 800 x 600.  I replaced the old version file and restarted.  Everything was back to normal.

  I still need to update Intel on-board video drivers for the Intel Core i5 CPU HD graphics card processor.  If anyone knows how to do this, please LMK.

  Continue to monitor the Lenovo site to see if they offer any new driver updates, that's all you can do, unless Lenovo support offers something else.

  I have a new HP Envy with Windows 8 desktop computer that still does not run properly. I have rebooted, restored (im doing this), ran chkdsk, sfc/scannow, malware, virus, uninstall/install etc and my machine wil always do not run for a long time without going through some sort of problem after an hour or two.  Can anyone suggest what to do about this? I read a lot of information online on all the windows 8 and fixes bugs, etc, but anything Microsoft/Windows, which ensures its customers, a hotfix or compesating their customers with software that still works. This isn't a hardware problem, and I can't keep day and bad shooting and trying to fix the day things in?

  Here are some problems in no particular order.
  1.) apps to not install it, and/or Windows saying they are when they are in fact not. The fix to install / uninstall, or get on the site of windows directly in general does not, and or does not at all.
  The change permissions 2.) does not work on files that you should be able to access in changing oxnership, permissions, etc.
  3.) Google chrome won't let me access my account of microsoft (or fact rarely) trying to access assistance. But internet Explorer doesn't?
  Randomly will increase from Internet 4.) a previous connection wired to wireless to a reboot.
  5.) my 8 'key' windows was only shown to me after that I have let Windows scan my machine online? Why? I paid for this... I restarted it and it says: service not available (it worked the third attempt which was 1-3 minutes after the initial analysis). Windows only showed my product ID not the key. I know that my victory. 8 was OEM when preinstalled I bought it new, but why didn't we files on it that had nothing to do with activation, appearing on dates for three weeks, or so before I bought it. What is the 'activation of the factory'?
  6 :) Windows Essentials does not hang for a long time, and the troubleshooterprogram of update simply does not work (I had to go to the website to try tp operate, the bluetooth functionality is not good that there is an error.
  7.) windows scan and repair gets stuck at 27% (Im not the only one with this problem).
  8.), avery MS Office 2013 Disappears so often and not easy to reload "we have encountered a problem.
   

  The computer manufacturer is responsible to see that it works properly with Windows 8. It says that it is a new computer I contact HP and make these problems their. If you don't get satisfactory results I turn and look elsewhere for a computer. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

• MediaSmart Photo/video/music does not load in Win7

  I almost can't wait to submit this.  The thread that applies, but after 5 months no response, I saw.

  The Support Agent HP said I needed a new version of the MediaSmart MVP.  Tried several times, it failed with no error report.

  Contacted a real HP AE, he told me to remove MVP and install sp47676.exe.  I did, it failed, now I have no MVP at all, just the links in the bar.

  Must be 6 or 7 different versions, I tried sp44642.exe and sp44615.exe.  Error 259 on the installation.  I can try to restore but do not know what other download I lose.

  Does anyone know the * good * version of software to download?  These are not small, 160 at 324 m.

  I am on Windows 7, 64 bit, HP installed at the factory.  e9270t quad, 8 G.  Only a few months.

  Thanks for the info.  sp44429 did load it for me, I have Blue Ray but no HP, third party add in.

  I think it could have been Norton, I don't know.  The above charge.  After what Deputy support told me that I had to update.  Again I turned off Norton, and he did load.  So I don't know if it was Norton or if the first recharge solved the problem.  The confounding factor that the version number has not changed on MediaSmart, so I don't know really not what has been fixed.

  I wish really that:

  1) there are a few newspapers or something error.  Very little info has been given, just that SA said that it would not load.

  (2) some correlation between SP444xxx and the software.  All the research my HP has not turned upward from these figures, I had to find them through these forums.  Also put this number in the software.  What is 3.0.3228 version, sp what.

  (3) if Norton is a problem, I hope SA turns off what it takes it to load.

  (4) when I go to e9270t page, nothing of this software is listed.  A search of better engines or some info what software I need to load.

  So the problem is solved, unfortunately I do not know quite what the fix was.  Probably a new facility with Norton turn off.  Just hope it doesn't happen.

  MMacBook does not load

  Looks like you have is connected wrong charger (you have an older Mac in the House?) or the charger has been damaged. Perhaps the magnetic head is damaged.

  You have another mac or a friend with a mac that has the same charger if you can try that?

  You can certainly buy replacement chargers, but I recommend that ensure you it is the charger that is the first problem to avoid spending money. If this is a problem with the port on the Mac, then a replacement charger will not help.

  If you don't have a 2nd charger to test, you can take your Mac at the Apple Store or your local electronics store that sells Macs and ask to try the plug one of their display models.
