  I install Windows 7 Ultimate update on Vista Ultimate. Compatibility check says I can go for it.

  I have 348 GB of free space and 2.4 GB of Ram. I run Disk Cleanup and is are free programs on hard drive. When I run the installer, it gives me this message

  You may be able to mark the partition on which is installed the operating system as being active.

  1. Open Control Panel by clicking the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click system and Maintenance.
  3. Click on Administrative Tools.
  4. Double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  5. In the navigation pane, click the disks as storage management.
  6. Select the volume that contains the existing installation of Windows Vista. In general, it is the C drive.
  7. Right-click on the volume and select Mark Partition as Active.
  8. Click Yes to confirm the action.

  If you have several hard drives remove all except the one that you install Windows 7, and then replace it after Windows 7 is installed.

  I have attempted to put in place all the computers in my work so that they can take advantage of Microsoft Voice Recogbition and I use the Andrea Electronics USB USB sound card - MY and had recently several computers in my issues of experience at work with the USB - MY does not automatically installed on Windows 7 machines. When they connect, they get an error message saying: it has not been installed successfully, and it is not visible in the menu of recording devices. I have also a computer tries to use the USB adapter - MY with a motherboard ASUS Sabretooth X 79, and not only would not recognize it correctly the system, but would not start with the card installed in one of the USB ports. I know that these situations are very difficult to resolve because of the number of variables involved.

  I tried a number of things, such as uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, force to install the driver from different USB ports, hubs, etc., MS update catalog, but the only thing that seems to work is to uninstall the Generic USB hub and the hub root USB, and then restart the system.

  I might add that this issue was raised with other products as well USB, like a Bluetooth adapter and a wireless mouse. Is this something new? Everyone is having similar problems? Is there a simpler solution? Is this something that Microsoft should continue the investigation?

  No indication as to how or why this happens, or an easier way to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

  Some of the temporary internet files cannot be deleted because it will run in the background with the internet.

  You can leave these files because it will harm your computer.

I even re-downloaded (no rental) programs purchased on adobe.com, but he ALWAYS wants me to pay for a subscription!   Our tablespace application ran out of space, and we had no free space left in our system of data files. We had little space left in the file system for archiving logs. Because it was urgent, I added a file of 10 GB data to this tablespace BUT in the files system to archive logs. The next day, administrators added system space to our system of data files. Now, we have enough space in the data files system and we want to move the data file mentioned above for the file system to store the data files.
  
  The data file resides in the archive disk group

  /ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf

  I want to delete the data above and add it in the file system for the data: /ltmprod_data

  /ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf

  Removed the word disk group

  This can be done without a DB downtime. But the tablespace must be taken offline

  Step1. Take the tablespace offline
  ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs OFFLINE ;
  
  Step2. Take a bkp of the datafile and move to the new location
  mv /ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf /ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/
  
  step3.
  ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs RENAME DATAFILE '/ltmprod_arch/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf' to '/ltmprod_data/LTMPROD/cmdata07.dbf';
  
  Step4. Bring the tablespace online
  ALTER TABLESPACE yourtbs ONLINE ;

  .. .to put a Word doc, replace the Word styles to InDesign styles, actually have these styles applied (as opposed to preserve almost all the attributes as a substitution) and not lose the basic formatting such as bold and italic.
