  I just bought a new ergonomic office to sculpt. The keyboard is really great. Unfortunately, the N and H keys are creaking loudly. Probably, they are not sitting properly in the underlying switch. Anyone know how I can reinstall these keys correctly? I guess I can pop them off the coast and push them back in, but I would like confirmation from someone who has tried. I wouldn't go through the effort to ship the product for a minor problem.

  I forgot to remove the transmitter/receiver for my my laptop Microsoft ergonomic mouse. I put my laptop in my bag with the transmitter/receiver still connected to my PC. I realized that it is broken when I tried to use the mouse and it says "Unrecognized USB Port". Is there a way that the transceiver could be fixed or how can I get another transmitter/receiver for my Microsoft ergonomic mouse sculpt without having to buy another brand new. My mouse works well but the transmitter/receiver to connect it with my PC does not recognize it. Someone please help me.  Thanks for your time.

  If there are obvious physical damage to the receiver do not use.

  If there is no damage to the receiver, I suggest trying the mouse and receiver to another computer to try to confirm it's a fault with the mouse/receiver and not something on your computer.

  So I went on the microsoft Web site to download the software/driver for my "Microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse", but is the only driver/software they listed the "mouse and keyboard Centre 2.3", which seems to be for their mouse and keyboard...» I tried to install, but after installation than my other brand non-microsoft (mark i-rocks) 2.4 ghz wireless keyboard Connect is more to his receiver and I am unable to use the keyboard. I tried resynciing and everything but nothing works only as long as this "keyboard and mouse center 2.3" driver/software is installed, so now I have to uninstall that and just use the regular driver for the "microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse" I have, so I can use my keyboard...

  I want to know, is there another older version of mouse only driver/software that I can use with my "ms sculpt ergonomic mosue?  Maybe the latest intellipoint mouse driver would work? What is the latest version and how to find?    or only the "keyboard and mouse Center 2.3" works with this mouse?  so in this case, I have no other choice than to use the generic mouse driver?

  I finally thought to it. Apparently, when you install the software/driver "Mouse and keyboard Centre 2.3" for the "mouse sculpt ergonomic microsoft", it will install both the driver for mouse and keyboard correspondence pilot as well, even if I only have the keyboard.  I tried this software even with my old microsoft natural wireless laser mouse 7000 and time that he installed only the mouse driver. I'm guessing that the nano-receiver for the mouse ergonomic sculpt can receive both the ergonomic keyboard and ergonomic mouse? .

  If the software installed one "microsoft USB dual receiver Wireless Mouse" under "Mice and other pointing device" in the Device Manager and a "receiver double USB microsoft wireless keyboard' under 'keyboard '.  What I did is simply to go into the Device Manager and uninstalled the driver "microsoft USB receiver double wireless keyboard" and check the box to "delete the driver for this device" so that the keyboard driver will not return and be a pilot and leave just installed microsoft mouse, so now I don't have that the "microsoft USB dual receiver Wireless Mouse" and the generic driver keyboard "HID Keyboard Device" in Device Manager to the the microsoft place unwanted, one, now I can go ahead and install any brand wireless/wired keyboard and the microsoft keyboard driver no longer interfere with it.

  Based on the description of the problem, it seems that you are having problems with the Fn keys and access keys stopped working.

  (1) have tried to check with another keyboard?

  (2) have tried to connect the keyboard to the other computer?

  (3) have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  Turn the keyboard on my knees (the lip will be on the lap), so it does not slip. There are three clips on the underside of the lip, pull the lip evenly and voila! Hope it works; He has done for me, by trial and error.

  Original title: F keys intellitype keyboard does not not on XP.

  We have several Microsoft installed "Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000" and discovered one day we are experiencing problems with the function keys.  In our software provider, we are supposed to use SHIFT + F11 to access a specific function.  However this keyboard shortcut does not work.

  I installed the latest drivers of "http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/natural-ergonomic-keyboard-4000" for Windows XP (32-bit) and Windows 7 (64-bit) and installed on the right machines.  Yet this problem persists and I can't find a way to deliver a new command outside provider software to test if it of a hardware problem of keyboard or not.

  BTW, the seller says "contact Microsoft", SOP answer because "it is not our fault for your choice in hardware.

  I have been using for several years Microsoft 7000 wireless ergonomic keyboard. You usually only need to use it on one other machine is to plug in the receiver, which installs and you can use it.

  I can't not much install on machines running Windows 7, 64-bit at work where I need to use different machines. It is said that the installation is fails when the receiver is connected and suggests to download a driver. I did it on the microsoft hardware site.

  On a single machine, it worked the day that I did, but then when I went to use the machine on another day it wouldn't work - if I try to download the driver again, it says that it cannot do this because a newer version is already loaded.

  On a second machine it worked, but I was not to try again.

  On a third machine, it did not work and I said needed an administrator to install it.

  The keyboard works fine on machines with other versions of Windows including Windows 7 32 bit.

  The 64 bit version of Windows 7 appears to be the problem. I found a previous in this respect thread, but no solution for me.

  Any suggestions?
