Is there a way to get around to enter a password? Windows 7 Home Premium for elderly

I got a new Dell with Windows 7 Home Premium for my widowed father age of 75 year. He hates absolutely for click the user and type a password whenever he lights the thing... especially if it's just to play games offline like Spider Solitaire. Is there a way to get around this?

Previously, Windows XP Home Edition and no login or password is required. Turn it on and everything on the desktop comes to have was there. Thank you.

Ive not tried this, but maybe - http://www.elmajdal.net/win7/Enabling-Automatic-Logon-With-Windows-7.aspx (I think that there is a typo in the first box "Run", but the correct info is just above)

after update of cc, I can't use photoshop cs6 without logging in cc.  Is there a way to get around this?

I do nothing stored on the cloud, all work is local and I do not have to be connected.  It also seems to make Photoshop a LOT slower.

    Hello Christy,

If it's a standalone Photoshop CS6 (ie you have a serial key) there is no need to connect to the desktop creative cloud application.

If you have downloaded the 'previous Versions' CS6 creative cloud desktop application so you will need to stay connected on the creative cloud desktop application.

    Always the same?

It is important to activate the hidden files and folders view.

Most of the SLCache material will be too, hidden by default and the program data folder.

    Open the C: drive.

    N ° 1)

Go to C: > Program Data > Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and locate the folder named SLStore.

    Rename SLStore old SLStore.

    Step 2)

Navigate to C: > Program Files common files > Adobe.

Under Common Files > Adobe, find the folder named SLCache.

SLCache open folder and all its contents to the backup on the desktop folder.  You must create a backup manually and move the content of SLCache.

Note : make sure SLCache is empty.

Then launch installed apps CC and identify yourself.

    Quit and restart and check.

  • disable hardware acceleration set my image loading problem. is there another way to get around this?

    System details:
    OS: Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit)
Graphics card: PNY NVidia GT 610 (2 GB)
    RAM: 5 GB
    Firefox version: 36.0 (32-bit)

Since yesterday, when the images would load on Web sites, some of them would be entirely black, or black for the most part, with only a piece of the images loaded, only to fully charge a few minutes later.

Disabling hardware acceleration has solved this problem, but reduces the overall performance of firefox. Is there another way to work around this problem, not to mention that disabling hardware acceleration?

Note: The only 2 things I have tried have been reset firefox and a new installation of firefox. I don't want to lose my data of the addon and the custom settings of firefox, because it takes too much time for me to put them back where they are now.

I'm also pretty computer savvy, if you can get quite technical with me. If I don't understand something, I ask.

  • Is there a way to get around this?

Hello. I've been thinking for a while now, buy Mass Effect, a video game developed by Bioware around May 2008. However, just to be sure that my computer (Toshiba laptop) could run, I went to www.systemrequirementslab.com, who, in case you're not familiar with it, something of a 'diagnosis', which gives you a 'pass' or 'fail' on the way in which the game you want to play will run on your computer is running. Everything going on, but a single component, which has been the video card. I will put the exact wording below.

    Video card
Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce 6 series (6800 GT or better), ATI X 1300 XT or better (X 1550, X 1600 Pro and HD2400 are below minimum system requirements)
You have: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x791F)
Upgrade suggested: Unfortunately, your video card does not meet this requirement. Click here to see some recommendations.
Features: Minimum attributes of your video card
    3D Yes Yes
    Hardware T & L Yes Yes
    Pixel Shader version 3.0 2.0
    Vertex Shader version 3.0 2.0

It is an important component to the game and my computer is a laptop, I have not seen any way to work around this problem, because I can't buy a new video card and use it. (Not that I would say justice my portfolio with these antics.)

However, I may or may not be getting a new computer before college, so if that happens, (I'm first indicative to assume that at the time when this new computer falls from heaven, that a new operating system is not available...) I wanted to ask you if, with the specifications on the right, I would be able to play it on Windows 7 ?

If not, then I would ask if there is a way around this problem now ? For example, is there an upgrade or something of this nature that I'm able to get? ("If it's free, it's for me!")

In addition, if he has not been heard, my OS is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think there is a solution to your video problem other than an update of the driver. If no update is available, then buy a desktop computer that I had is the only other option.

  • Is there anyway that I can download the Windows 7 Home Premium for my boyfriend to use on his computer on a new drive? His crashed the other night. Help, please.

I was wondering if I could download the Windows 7 Home Premium on a dvd - r disc and use it to start my computer buddies back up? Its Windows XP crashed on him the other night. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

It is not possible to download Windows 7 on a DVD. If you want to install Windows 7 on the computer, you must purchase a Microsoft installation disc.

You would think that a Microsoft Support engineer would know what is available in the Microsoft store.  But maybe not.

If your b/f to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7, you can buy Windows 7 directly from Microsoft and download.  You can download an ISO file which can be burned to a DVD if you have a software that can make this engraving.  Of course, with your b / f machine works do not, you will not be able to use Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine if your computer is capable of running Windows 7.

If I misread one of Microsoft stores information, you can also get a file ISO downloadable here (though of course, you need to purchase a license from Microsoft): http://techpp.com/2009/11/11/download-windows-7-iso-official-direct-download-links/

    See http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/en_US/pd/productID.216644600/parentCategoryID.44066700/categoryID.50726100/list.true

    In the FAQ:

    THE FORMAT OF ISO DOWNLOAD

For different products, you can download your software as an ISO file, which is a single file that contains all the files Setup for your application. Download your software as an ISO file makes backup of your files on a DVD or a USB storage device that is easy.

NOTE: If you use Windows 7, we provide the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool that lets you create a backup of your Windows 7 software using the ISO file.

    See also, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/installing-windows-7-on-a-netbook
Buy and download Windows 7 from the Microsoft Store as an ISO file and copy it to a USB flash drive. If you need start, or boot, your PC during the installation of Windows 7 (for example, if you want to format your hard disk during the installation), you can download Windows 7 in a special format called an ISO file and use the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a USB key, which you can then use it to install Windows 7 on your netbook

    Hello

I'm sorry, but the strategy of microsoft in these forums is that no assistance will be given about lost or forgotten passwords and can help you certainly not with the cracking of passwords tools

  • Is there a way to get Firefox to remember the password on a site that was chosen as "never" or "not now".

Remember passwords works OK for a new site. I have been using a different password manager and did not want Firefox to remember passwords, but now with sync option would get Firefox to remember passwords once connections, I marked "never" or "not now".

If you chose 'not now' it should ask you every time. The only time where it is not supposed to ask is if he did not remember a password, or you have already told him 'never '.

Despite everything, go to tools-> Options (or editing-> Preferences if you do not see 'Options' from the Tools menu) click the 'Security' tab, and then search for the [Exceptions] button and click it. You will see the list of sites you said FF never to remember a password. Select the one you want, or all of them, and then click the [Remove] button.

Revisit the site, and when you enter the password and press enter or click to connect, it should encourage them to remember this password.

  • Where can I get a free copy of Windows Vista Home Premium for a laptop Sony Vaio I have my product key, but need to the floppy?

where can I get a free copy of windows vista edition Home premium? I tried to restore my laptop without success. I think I need a copy of the installation disc so that I can reinstall it with my current product key

    Hello

There's a photo guide based on the recovery of your model here...

    http://www.Sony-Asia.com/support/tutorial/381906/product/VGN-fz18g

If you cannot use this method because what did your friend, your options are...

    • Pay Sony for media recovery
    • A base Windows installation followed by installing specific Sony drivers and software from their Web site.

If you walk down the road of the latter, I would say that, if possible, before you begin reinstalling Windows you download at least the Ethernet drivers and wireless and save in, for example, a USB key. Start your drivers to search for them (and other) here...

    http://www.Sony-Asia.com/support/product/VGN-fz18g/FAQ

.. everything will be difficult to download if drivers that allow access to the internet are not native to a new installation of Windows.

Your principled stand against Sony charges for media recovery is, in my opinion, wrong. As I already said twice...

If Sony did not provide recovery media that they have provided the means to create them

If you lost or do not burn them and messed up your recovery partition, it's not for lack of Sony.

My serious recommendation is to accept a fee of Sony for the recovery media. It will make life much simpler for you. For this reason alone, it is probably useful tax, especially considering that you're obviously not a user advanced. Otherwise, why ask the help of a friend and ask for help on this forum?

I suspect that the links I've seen on this website are actually only valid for Windows 7 media images. If you do not buy the recovery media and go with an iso image download Vista Home Premium, I have to warn about the following...

    • The legality of this is, at best, questionable
    • If it's not genuine Microsoft media you might end by in an even bigger mess (if it works at all)

    Tricky
