Is there an attribute #watched for multimedia files in Windows 7 or WMP 12?

Which means that the number of times you have watched/played a media file (song, film, photo, etc.)?
If it's on the GUI of WMP rather Explorer is also a good option.

    Hello

Windows Media Player does not support playback of all types of media file available currently. However, Windows Media Player provides support for the most common media file types.

The type of file you are trying to play on media player is not supported by the media player. If Windows Media Player does not support the file format you are using, contact the distributor of the file for more information on the availability of a viewer for the file.

However, installation of codecs can help you read the file successfully, check for possible solutions in this article and check the result: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316992

There are a couple of free video converters available on the Web that you can use to convert the type of current file for the file type compatible multimedia player. Please note that Microsoft has not tested these programs and you use them at your own risk.

    I hope this helps.

  • Search for the file Explorer: Windows 7

I know that I am probably post again a question has been asked hundreds of times before... But the research question of Windows 7 even been taken down like a real fault? There is no other way I can see to ask this question outside not be re-directed to a forum looking for answers, then see frustration of countless other users, so I put back on with a new post.

I wrote a test and training post to possibly one of the largest universities in the United Kingdom and my role of testing software noting flaws and then decide whether it should be rolled out and then reap the benefits of its use.

All other packages had small defects but none of which has a few advantages outweigh

I literally user acceptance tested search to death and read dozens of user help guides on indexing. The more generic computer users is the admin rights/time/support or the know how to do that on a large number of readers huge network.

In short, I guess the question I ask is when users want to find a file by name, why they are not getting the results they are looking for and if it is a question of indexation why?

Help me to Microsoft, you're my only hope.

Search has changed over the years. Modern versions of Windows have so many files that the default search will filter all files it think users don't want to see. It works fine most of the time, but if a user starts using non-standard file types can cause an immense amount of frustration.

It is always nice to have alternatives to the risk of re - direct you once again here is even more:

  • Is there a way to combine multimedia files 'unlock '?

    Hello

I do a lot of downloading the files of audio and video media for e-commerce courses.

I noticed that they are first "blocked" automatically because they are downloaded. I have a lot of these files and when they blocked the Player Windows Media will notice recognize them until they are "unlocked."

I've been unlocking them individually, but it is extremely time consuming.

So, I was wondering if anyone knows how to unlock these files blocked media in a group or something like the mass change options in some programs of meta date.

Is there a command prompt code that could unlock all media both files.

This would save me a lot of time that I can use easily for other more important things.

If it is not a command prompt code can we do?

  • HP Envy 15-j001er: there is no drivers for my laptop with Windows 10.

    Hello, everyone

I would install Windows 10 to my laptop but it isn't there some drivers in official hp website. For example, the driver for touchpad and beats audio which are pretty relevant as mich, especially the last. HP considering release these drivers or is this all there is? If so, how long does take? If not, where can I find analogies?

    Thank you.

    Hi @Johannes_Russeu,

    Thank you for your query.

I understand - you consider the upgrade to Windows 10 and fear that some drivers are not listed on the HP website.

The audio beats would be part of the audio driver that is listed on software Notebook HP ENVY 15-j001er and the driver page.

No additional driver would be acquired through the updates of Windows or if you run the wizard help HP it can also help to find the drivers.

If no driver is located you can also try installing the driver in compatibility mode.

    Compatibility mode (from windows10forums.com)

For your information, I am also including products HP - where can I find drivers Windows 10 and software for my model? .

I hope that this helps with your decision and know that things don't work as planned you will be able to return to the old system of operaring for about 30 days.

I'm not saying if you upgrade first create your media recovery if you don't have yet done.

The 'security' tab appears only if you have Windows XP Pro and you have disabled "Simple file sharing".

  • Is there a simple way to transfer files from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

Original title: want to transfer files on my Windows 7.  Help!

Still trying to get my files from my Windows 7 laptop to my Windows 8.1.  Would it not easier that I have upgraded to Windows top 10?  Is there a simple way to transfer from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

  • Need to increase the bass during playback of multimedia files in Windows 7

Original title: no option as "bass boost" in Windows 7?

So, I have this new headset SteelSeries Siberia v2, they are great and all, but since I got it, I searched for a way to adjust the bass on this because it has none. I've seen tons of screenshots, videos and everything, you just right-click on the icon of the sound down on the right, find the icon for your headset, double-click on, go to the unavailability and there should be a "bass boost" option at the top, right? Well, I don't have that and so I wondered, y at - it another way to configure bass in windows 7?

It should be, but not as much as having a true bass booster.  By inceasing the balue to the bass frequencies and a drop in those of the mid and on it you should get better response in the bass.

Unless the software that came with your sound device has a low specific/equal control, you are snookered in by using the equalizer. However, you can try the web, Google free bass boost or similar. I think I saw a software which pushed on bass, but can't for the life of me remember his name.
BTW, the software prolly will only be as a high attenuator that amplifies low frequencies, may be what you need.
    See you soon,.
