  first of all: a laptop isn't a desktop and mobile computer of this type has no jumpers as a deskop computer. They definitely have something to remove the BIOS, but I'm not sure IF the reset of the BIOS might help you.

  It seems that your question has fallen through the cracks, do not know why there has been no response. I would like to attempt an answer.

  When you say to use "exact digital tissue" we don't really know if you need the color of the fabric, the color + texture or if the fabric has a pattern you need to capture. Your image is low resolution and the texture of a new fabric may be lost.

  If you need only to change the color, select the fabric using your preferred technique, add a hue/saturation adjustment layer and dial in the color you need. You can use colorized and put in sitting hue values obtained from a sample of the color of your image of the other fabric. Another alternative is to add a color overlay style to the selection of fabric and choose the Merge option color. You can then use the R, G, B values from the color of your image of tissue sample.

  If your alternative cloth is used, then you might try to make a custom template (Edit > as ground) of your fabric image and apply a style of superimposition of model on your layer of tissue to aid selection, perhaps, the overlay blend mode. You will need to play with the scale factor to get the model look correct for the geometry of the original image.

  Here's a quick example of using a huse/sat adjustment layer and a model/overlay style.

  I used "Set Date & Time" to put back the date of the year 1000, with no ill effects.
