You can perform a restore of the system to a previous point, when the issue was not present.
    | The System Restore tool uses points of restore to return the system files and settings to an earlier point in time. You can use it to restore the operating system to a point in time where you have not experienced the problem.

  • Why most of the Microsoft products have communicated to R2?

  • Can configure is no longer Windows Vista update to include the updates for other Microsoft products (Office, Visual Studio, etc.).

I once had a problem with Windows Update, which gives me a family of .NET Framework through the window of Control Panel\Windows to update to Windows Vista, even if it has been installed and has Microsoft support help me through EasyAssist. The problem of .NET Framework has been fixed, but now I have a problem: the Control Panel\Windows update window informs me today I'll receive downloads for Windows only, not for all Microsoft products.
When I click on "Change settings", the Microsoft Update option is no longer present.
When I click on the link 'Get' updates for more products, I am now redirected to the former site of Windows Update V4 (who is not supposed to appear on Windows Vista) instead of Microsoft Update, and this site Web of Windows Update cannot detect the Vista updates.
So I'm stuck now with only being able to get informed about the upgrades to Windows, but not other updates from Microsoft. And we don't mean Windows Vista x 64 final with the last Windows Update Agent 7.2.6001.788. This new update would be the culprit?

    Hi Unicodemaster787,

Even if it is not automatic, you should be able to get your updates from the Microsoft Download center http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/en/default.aspx

Other than that, your best bet would be to do a repair install and let the system to reinstall the original files and settings.

When you perform a repair installation, it restores the current installation of Windows Vista to the version on the installation DVD. This requires you to reinstall all updates that do not appear in this version of Windows Vista.

To perform a repair of Windows Vista installation, follow these steps:

    1. Restart the computer.
    2. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive of the computer.

Note If Windows does not automatically detect the DVD, click Start, type : \setup.exe in the Search box, and then click configuration in the list programs. Then click on install now.

    3. Click connect to get the latest updates for installation (recommended).
    4. Insert the product key if you are prompted to do so.
    5. Click to accept the Microsoft software license agreement.
    6. On the screen which type of installation you want , click upgrade.
    7. Once the installation is complete, restart the computer, and then try again to install updates.

Remember, however, that it could undo previous changes to solve your problems of .net.

  • How to become a reseller of microsoft products?

    Reseller

I am establishing a business of my own software. The company will also provide material for a wholesaler.

I am wanting to Corrèze one reseller of microsoft products. In particular Windows XP. I aim to pass on to my customers within the system, I sell.

    If anyone can help.

    Ivan

You will not be able to resell Windows XP, it is no longer available for resale.  The only legitimate way to provide Windows XP would be with the reacondicionador program or by way of demotion with a Windows 7 license law professional.

    These can be useful:

  • Have I not a valid license of Microsoft products

We are a company in Sri Lanka, who have access to valid Microsoft licensed products. My question is, if we use any kind of a program that has created from a Microsoft lincesed product (Eg: Microsoft Access). We need to have a permit for that one too? Please note that this product is limited to the use of our company only

    Hi samanpriyantha1942,

Yes, all Microsoft products that you install on your system will have a separate license. For example, Microsoft Windows XP has its own license, which will not work with the Microsoft Office application.

If you install Microsoft Office, you must have a separate license for the same thing.

You can contact Microsoft hotline for help on this one.

  • Laptop with Microsoft product key

I have a laptop that I put out of service with a genuine Microsoft product key for XP Home installed plant.  What should I do to be able to install XP Home on another computer?

    Corona98

You have an OEM Windows license on this computer.

    Limits of the OEM computer

According to Microsoft, that an OEM of Windows version is related to the first computer, it is installed on and you can not be installed on another computer. Even if the computer on what OEM of Windows has been installed is no longer used, you cannot transfer the OEM license on another computer.

Difference between a Full and selling retail and OEM/System Builder License.
    Windows OEM licenses:
    (1) are related to the first computer installed on and are non-transferable (cannot be moved to another computer).
    (2) can't do a place in upgrading from older versions of Windows, only a cleaning/fresh installation is possible.
    (3) offer no free support from Microsoft.

Yes I know, in windows server, that we have backup utlity that stores the file in .bkf format however it requires a running operating system to restore the file... I want to, where we can build the system, including the os from system crash image file.

I don't think that there is nothing that makes Microsoft who will do what you want with Windows XP. I prefer Acronis True Image Ghost. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!
