• How can I encrypt documents extended drive?

  I use the Java API of the livecycle TO encrypt a dynamic, reader extended PDF. I get the error message:

  ALC-ENC-100-015 may not encrypt reader extended document.

  The order of operations is always encrypt (first), drive to extend (second), (and if you also certify document) certifies (third-party) (when you certify a document, an "author" digital signature is applied to the document).

  There is no way around that, the document must be encrypted first, then applied RE.

• Laptop is not access grub after standby extended drive

  Hi all

  I suspect a hardware problem, but I'm not 100% sure on this subject. The issue has already appeared a few days ago, but I managed to solve it by pressing F8 at the beginning upward. Now F8 does not work and I think that F8 was not at all involved, and it's only lucky shot.

  It seems the startup just stops before, or so, access to grub2. I am able to stop and restart, but there is no startup options. The mini laptop is a toshiba satellite t110-107 and normally start options appear at the bottom, F2 to access bios and F12 as a shortcut for selecting the boot device (if I remember correctly). But sometimes, they do not appear at all, I think that's when I put hibernate instead of shut down the system, but to be honest, I never paid attention to this behavior. She normally worked. Note that I use hibernate-drive and extended ram usually sleep for years, and it has always worked properly.

  Thank you very much in advance for any advice you want to give me. I will try to access the system with a shell external grub or with a different distribution of linux to re - install grub. I hope I don't have to thow away the laptop :-(

• Cannot extend drive

  I have a virtual machine that began with a secondary logical drive of 20 GB for configuration data. Now, I need to raise it. I have unallocated space, but I can't extend the drive. It's worked before, unless I'm missing something. Any ideas?

  Before you start with the troubleshooting steps, I would ask you to answer the questions below:

  1. What exactly happens when you try to extend the drive?
  2. You have the operating system installed on the drive that you are trying to extend?
  3. You receive an error message/code while extending the drive?
  4. What software do you use to virtualize Windows?
  5. To extend the walk is greyed out?

  Ideally, when you have unallocated space, you can extend a drive by selecting the option to extend and unallocated space will automatically accumulate with the disc that you want to extend.

When I press ok, nothing happens.

  I m don't know what to do. Or where is my nearest representative of HP. Is there on to Managua? (or Esteli would be closer).

  AND - is it possible to recover all the files?

  Not sure if this is of any importance, when I go in the diagnostic log, the numbers contained therein are 0303, 0305, 03F1. To repeat.

  The ID of the failure will be either a Smart failure or disk Self Test - the two would indicate that your hard drive is defective and must be replaced.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disc replaced.

• P2V. Server 2003 R2 w / extended drives

  I P2V had an instance of Server 2003 R2 and in VMware converter I had develop three volumes:

  C - system

  D data

  E - newspapers

  When that I start the VM, my computer won't display the D drive was correctly extended. C and E kept their original storage space.

  When I open the Disk Manager, it shows that all three have been extended.

  In Diskpart, it also shows that all three have been extended.

  Can someone point me in the right direction to get the other two correctly extended?

  It's weird... it usually works very well.

  If the converter doesn't do the trick for some reason, perhaps a workaround might be a good solution here. If your converter does not work properly with any machine, then maybe another instance of converter can help you.

  It is a response from both sides, first to answer your question, and then to raise an issue of General License.

  To answer your direct question, the rights of extension drive will end when credentials expire (in your example, April 1, 2012). After this time, the user will receive a message that depends on the version of the player.

  • If it is the Reader 8 or before, they will receive a message whose form has changed and that rights are no longer available.
  • For reader 9 and above all, messages have been improved, so that it will tell you that your form has passed the expiration date and that the user needs to obtain a new form of the creator.   But the biggest problem is that you seem to not have license appropriate in place.  Production licences have long-term (good until 2021 or 2023) licenses.   The question is independent of the question of if you drive - expand once or you drive to extend a process for each form.

• Flattening of PDF forms after the form has been saved with extended drive features

  I have a form that must be able to be used in the drive. I recorded it with 'extend the functionality of Adobe Reader' for my colleagues can use it. • Failed to create snapshot suspended after extending drive c:

  Hey everyone, came across this problem recently, so far have not solved...

  This forum works on esxi 4.1 U2 host.

  The virtual machine is a 64 bit windows 2008, Exchange 2007 SP1 on her computer. It has been in production for over 2 years and never had a problem with backups/snapshots.

  The virtual machine has been running out of space on the c: drive, I went and added space. Everything went well, additional space was visible immediately after its extension of disk in disk management. Rebooted anyway for good measure.

  Since the execution of this task, vcenter will complement is more a snapshot of slowdown in the virtual machine. I can take a standard cliché, but if I pause the file system, it gets to 95% and crashes, and then eventually errors, saying that it timed out trying to hold remote I/O in the frozen vm. I read through many planned article on this problem with snapshots, but have not found something that seems to work.

  One thing I noticed when I bring the server after a reboot, all the VSS writers show stable without error, as soon as I try to run a snapshot suspended the Exchange VSS indicates Failed: inconsistent snapshot. If I restart the information store, it will be stable again, but same thing happens whenever I try to launch a snapshot. Maybe I'm wrong Rabbit Hunt with this, since this status shows what happened the last time you tried to use VSS.

  I guess that any suggestions or ideas are appreciated, because now I'm backing up without the system standby, but do not understand why after having developed the c: drive it no longer works...

• Question: Recording dynamic form as a extended drive (allow save) causes certain header lines to repeat

  I use LiveCycle to create forms/electronic spreadsheets for the group, I support at work.  I had two worksheets have this problem recently.  An I was able to fix by going to my previous version, a re-release and re-recording.  The other continues to be a problem.  The worksheet is dynamic and has several added features of the line.  The form continues to operate correctly, but header in some tables lines repeat when recording in extended format reader that my allows to record the form (required for our work).  I completely re-did the spreadsheet from scratch, as well as a re-issue of previous versions with no luck.  The best I can do is get repetitions to change header lines.

  You said that it is in some tables. Just saw the tables that are affected:

  • Is there scripts implemented that create the table dynamically? Or the tables already exist, and additional lines are added dynamically?
  • Look at the name of the header line. There are scripts that reference the header lines?

• Windows does not recognize extended drive

  I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit in VMware Fusion version 3.13 on a Mac OSx Lion with 8 GB of RAM (4 GB for Win) and a 1 TB drive.

  Windows has been short of disk space available, both in the menu of VMware: Virtual Machine--> hard disk--> hard disk settings... I used the slider from 40 GB to 60 GB.

  I then shut down Windows and VMware, but after Windows restarts, it does not recognize the additional 20 GB. Is there something else that needs to be done - as a Windows partition utility?

  Yes, inside the prompt, you must run the disk to initialize/develop/format the partition manager.

  Right click on my computer--> Manage.  Select disk management.

  Acrobat Pro Extended to XI, that's what I used to create the form. But I had the recipients to update their versions of adobe reader to the latest version 11.0.09 and that seems to fix the problem.

• I need a Photoshop CS5 Extended drive.

  I bought Photoshop CS5 Extended in 2010, and I have my key.  I lost my disc and it is preventing me from upgrading my computer or replace because I can't reload Photoshop.  The person I talked to Adobe told me that they the only thing they could recommend is upgraded to CS6.  Of course, they would say that.  How can I get a copy of the disc so that I can upgrade my computer or replace it?  I was told the same thing by HP until I told them would be get rid of printers HP 4 and 3 HP computers (desktops and laptops), I already own and buy brands from their competitors.  Then as magically, a disc was published even if the printer that it belonged to the software was old, and they do not have the disks in stock - so they said.   I can not even past the first Tech line that tell me the same thing: no record of CS5 Extended.  What can I do?

  I was wondering if anyone knows how to know if a XFA (LiveCycle) form turned in a batch process (IE with JavaSript) Player. I scoured the Acrobat JS reference manual nothing helps.

  I have hundreds of forms in quite a hierarchy of complex documents and having a report generated for all forms that I missed would be great. I am aware that LiveCycle Reader Extensions is the best method, but at the moment we have no access to it where I work.

  Any help or a "No. Can not be done with Acrobat' would be great.
