ISO image of Windows

I am trying to install Windows XP (the ONLY OS that will run a specific software that I need) on my Mac mini (beginning of 2009-compatible with Windows XP installation DVD that I have), I find the instructions to create an ISO image of Windows. Someone has explicit instructions on how to do it and is it essential? Thanks for your help.

iso is a copy of an optical disc, you can read more of his https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_image e

There are several ways or create an iso file osx do iso OSX file

If you do not need to run 3d games is a lot less hassel to install xp on a virtual machine like oracles free virtualbox https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Mac%20OS%20X%20build%20instructions it you have to worry not special drivers for the mac mini for stuff to work

If you have the upgrade key, go here

You can go for the use of win8 / win7 / vista to match highlights you want - and download the win8 installation and run the installation with your key to download you need to install windows from that.  Will allow you to have an iso bootable.

Make a picture of the control panel system / Windows 7 file recovery / system Image.  I certainly wouldn't put it on dvd.  It will be too.   Find an old preference portable hard drive and buy a $ 20 usb box, get an external hard drive.

  • Where can I download a. ISO image of Windows Vista 32-bit (full edition)?

    Hi all

I have a real installation of Windows Vista 32 bit Ultimate edition.

I would like to install my copy of Windows in a virtual machine, but this usually requires a new PRODUCT KEY get updates etc.

In an attempt to solve a problem in the host machine, I want to do it on a temporary basis with a "clean to a virtual machine installation.

I know how to recover my product key, even though I have lost my disk of Vista that I bought.

Download an .iso image of Vista 32 bit Ultimate from Digital River or at all Please?

Failing the above all I can do is try to hunt for my original disk and reinstall and lose all my programs installed.
The other option is to back UP everything on a temporary basis, try what I try
and then recover all if my experience isn't a success.

Original title: Microsoft Virtual PC question regarding the installation of Vista.

    Hello

There is no available from Microsoft Vista ISO file download.

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

    I use Windows 8 Pro x 64.

How can I mount a file ISO in WIndows 8?
I right click on the ISO file and the menu that opens does not give me an option of editing.  It says at the top of the game menu.  There is no an option of editing anywhere in the menu.  I looked into the open with option, but the Assembly isn't here either.

    Have you tried the following?

Right click on a .iso file > properties > click "Edit" under the "Général" tab > click on "Windows Explorer" > OK

No matter if its not SP1 or SP1, as long as the product key matches the edition you are installing. You can perform an installation on your existing installation using the integrated SP1 disc with your product key.

  • PE 1950 - Drac 5 - unable to connect iso image > 4 GB

yesterday I updated the firmware for the DRAC 5 in the 1950s PE version 1.65 A00.

Then I tried to connect an iso image of Windows 2012 but he fails with a parasite of message

The browser's security settings don't allow filenames manually

    typed in the text box.

Click Browse to select the appropriate file.

After trying to change the settings for Internet Explorer, change the path, truncate the name of file, nothing has worked, and the error above is always displayed.

I tried to connect other iso images and discovered that if an ISO is selected that is larger than 4 GB in size the above message appears.

(the size limit can be smaller than the iso, I had was up to 2.5 GB then jumps to 4.0 GB +)

I tried chrome, but who fails to display the login page of the drac.

tried firefox which tries a JAVA connection that also fails.

I placed the site in site of Java security settings.

someone at - he alse met this size limit?

If so do you have a work autour or do I need to burn a DVD and do the old-fashioned way.

    Thanks in advance

    Bryden

Think I found the answer for me.

I suspect the answer is that the DRAC don't bed thus FAT32, file systems has a 4 GB limit.

decided not to disturb the connection via the use right of the DRAC console redirection and a good old fashioned DVD.

  • ISO image available only in Korean language?

I am trying to download the ISO image of Windows 7, but when I enter my product key I am only offered a Korean language version.  I have checked & re-checked and the key has been entered correctly.  Everyone knows this?

It is a 64-bit version upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium and still in its original plastic with a bright green DVD case, with holographic imaging and the original orange/faded yellow sticker on the insert.

Update: never mind I guess...  It seems that the answer is here - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/windows-7-cannot-download/02c08c07-9371-4f7f-a50e-e48b23d36a6e

  • needing to know if Windows XP Professional SP3 with the ISO Image (single user) is a 32 bit OS

need to change my OS xp for College, I have a 32-bit laptop and ifWindows do not know XP Professional with SP3 ISO Image (single user) is a 32 bit OS

    What is the file size.

The x 86 .iso should be 589 MB (617,756,672 bytes) in size.

SHA1 hash value must be: 1C735B38931BF57FB14EBD9A9BA253CEB443D459

Download and install of SlavaSoft HashCalc
    HASH, CRC, AND HMAC CALCULATOR
    http://www.SlavaSoft.com/HashCalc/index.htm

For Windows. ISO file just place checkmarks in the boxes of SHA1 and CRC32.

In the main window of HashCalc "data format" box located in the top left corner should be set to "file".

In the 'Data' field, click on the... located at the top right and then click 'Cancel' If you get a "Insert disk" window pop up.

After clicking cancle, you should see a window 'find '. This allows you to navigate to the folder where your. ISO file is stored and click on the file.

You should now see the. ISO file that you clicked on listed in the box 'File name' located at the bottom of the "Find" window

Now click on the button 'open '. The data field should now show the path of the directory/folder and the name of the. You have selected the ISO file.

With only the SHA1 and CRC32 checkboxes are checked (do not place check marks in all the other boxes as this can slow the time it take to calculate values) click on the 'Calculate' button at the bottom of the main window of HashCalc.

It will take anywhere from 30-60 seconds for the calculation and the SHA1 and CRC32 data values to display.

These values are not case sensitive, so a lower case 'a' is the same as a capital letter "A" to the extent where results are concerned.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 using a USB Flash drive and an ISO image

My laptop is not an optical disc drive in order to reinstall Windows, I had to rely on the USB that I have. I downloaded an ISO image of the operating system on the Microsoft site and created a bootable USB stick using the xcopy command in command prompt. When I restarted the system and chose the USB as a boot device, nothing happened for half an hour. Then I had to reboot the PC somehow and it booted normally. Since he did not work once again, I downloaded the Windows 7 USB DVD download tool. But even the tool cannot complete the writing process, even after several attempts. So as a last attempt, I opened the folder where I had extracted all the files and ran StartCD.exe but it terminated immediately by posting "too big for memory. (BTW, I use a 8 GB flash drive) What should I do to fix this?

    Use Rufus:

The USB key must be formatted in FAT32 and use the GPT partitioning scheme. To do this, you must use Rufus, a small tool that you can download for free.

    Rufus - credit: Pete bastard/Akeo

    After installing Rufus:

    • Launch it
    • Select the ISO Image
    • Point to the file ISO for Windows 10
    • Check create a disk bootable using
    • Select GPT partitioning to EUFI firmware as the Partition scheme
    • Choose FAT32 NOT NTFS as file system
    • Make sure that your USB in the device list
    • Click Start
    • Close when you are finished
