  I did a program for the analysis of data on some waveforms. I need to write the results in my file of results. It is a spreadsheet file. I want to write the name of the file as well as all the results in a row, each value in each column. I intend to use the same results file and add results of analysis of data from all my experiences. I didn't know how to write the string (file name) and integers together. Also when I just try to write all the results only (whole), it is not written in the new line.

  I guess you know that the Spreadsheet File VI to Write will not create a workbook in Excel, simply because you use an .xls extension. You get a text file. The extension will simply allow your operating system to automatically open Excel when you double-click the file.

  That said, %.s is not the format string to use for floating point values.  You must use %f, or else that converts a number to a string. The default format string is % .3f, which uses 3 decimal places.

  If you have a string that you want to include, then a simple way to do this is to convert the digital array to a string (using the number of string functions), precede your string to this string array (i.e., insertion of an element at the beginning of the table) and then by writing about this new array of strings. Writing to a file Spreadhsheet is polymorphic to 8.2 so you will get the string version when connect you an array of strings.

• Windows 7 Media Center plays audio from VOB, no video. However, the VOB files play fine in Windows Media Player 7. What gives?

  I have VOB files in a VIDEO_TS folder.  Windows 7 Media Center will generate a thumbnail for them, but when I play them I'm audio but not video.  However, when I play in Windows Media Player will play without any problem.  Can someone help me solve this problem?

  Just got out how we can get video of .vob files play correctly:

  It's pretty simple, just add the folder to the library of MOVIES instead of VIDEOS. It is true that videos, just listen to the audio, but no video appears during playback.
  Once you add to the movie library, W7 Media Center it will read "like a DVD" then you will also be able to navigate through menus.

  When I add a folder to the library he sews it is only a matter of time before the sub folders and/or files such as word documents. It just stop appearing in library view, but are still present in the "Explorer". My wife has the same problem in its home version of Windows 7. I love Windows 7 but I lose patience with the file system.

  I solved the problem with "hidden" files The answer is a little embarrassing. When I imported my files in W7 in XP they missed to 'sort by date/time. Because they were alphabetically in XP, the order of the new date set match alphabetically on the first import in W7. I didn't know they were are more sorted by name because the order of date / hour now equated the name order. I opened each file the file sort order has changed and it settles at the bottom of the list that is logical, newest at the bottom. It seemed to me that I was lost files because they fell in alphabetical order and moving toward the bottom of the list. Once I clicked on sort by file name everything came back and worked well since. Sorry, I should have posted this a long time ago.

  Because I want to put all the translatable texts in one place, I defined a separate category for that. The .h file similar to below:

  Note that in the file above, I use QT_TR_NOOP() macro to mark the string given for extraction of the .ts file. This is mentioned in the documentation at https://developer.blackberry.com/native/documentation/cascades/device_platform/internationalization/....

  I then called tr (TextConstants:WITCH_APP) in a different subclass of QObject. The problem is that the text "App switch" is not extracted from the .ts file, why? If I call tr() and skip the text "App Switch" like tr ("Switch App"), this text is extracted from the .ts file. Am I missing a few things to make it work? Thank you.

  Hello.

  I think you have misunderstood my suggestion.  I was only suggesting that you call the function tr() in your statement of constant ithat you posted nstead of QT_TR_NOOP(), not in other parts of your code, to see if the compiler accepts it and the chain gets extracted correctly.

  If this does not work, I'll try to track down the code of the work for the purposes of comparison.

  It's just time conversation of string to the datetime format.

  In the image below, I did 24 times this conversation to show, the result for each hour of the day.

  Looks like labview have some problems with times of conversation in format 2:XX: XX (I mean, when the number 2 is the first).

  Someone has an idea how to fix this bug?

  The solution is:

  1 convert the variant to a string

  2 channel converted variant with format string %^<%d.%m.%Y % H: % m: %s > T, where ^ is important

  I am just starting with the development of an inDesign plugin, and I can't get the examples provided as example by the SDK to build (DocWatch.sdk for example). Instead, I get multiple errors:

  I also tried to follow the tutorial of 'WriteFishPrice' in the getting started document, but I get the same errors.

  I'm on Mac OSX10.6, from:

  inDesign SDK CS5.5

  I think that the problem is due to the version of gcc. It seems that inDesign SDK is outdated.

  the problem is, when I create in the messages app a new account with my appl ID (for example on a new mac) I also use with my iphone, so everything worked very well for the starting point of creation.

  BUT... some older posts, I have on my iphone will appear in the new messages.app - account on my mac.

  I have thousands of old messages and conversations, I now can only see on my phone or with some more or less useful third party apps. those who cannot vonert messages to a PDF file or som other format useful semi > but no one can transfer it in the messages app.

  • I learned that apple does not save my imessages for more than 72hours (which makes me happy because of the confidentiality of the data), so I can't take via imessages-servers.
  • I also learned that it is possible to transfer data from the library files to a previous account. but unfortunately, I've just accidentally deleted those files, so this solution won't help:
  • I had serious problems to enable the transfer of SMS on a second mac (I guess I failed it in between), I went in the ususal trial & error-process and disabled the account of messages on the mac.
  • After that, I deleted all caches using onyx. then I restarted the iphone and the macbook and restarted the messages app.
  • the app behave like the 'never used before': I entered my apple, app ID remind my cell phone number and all other settings from the old account, but THE MESSAGES WERE GONE alle.
  • I don't know I deleted the using onyx. but there should be a way to win back them?

  Can't do.

  iMessages are pushed by the iMessages servers to devices recorded at this time there.

  They are not held on servers and are deleted as soon as receiving devices accept.

  Hello LabVIEW community.  Here's an easy one that made me a bit puzzled.  Then of course, it's not easy for me.  I am using string analysis for city, State, Zip from a string.  I can build the string that I have just described by commas using the Format string in.  But you can't do the opposite and get an error 85.  Yes, I have read the white paper on this and am not entirely sure how to apply their solution.  Yes, I could put bandaids on the code and remove the comma "manually", but I was wondering if the community was able to remove the commas of the chain by simply using the Scan of the chain.

  

  

  Analysis of the chain is "gourmet" you've discovered.  %s will basically take anything that's possible, including commas, so the first %s will simply take the whole string.  You must put the brakes on it a little.  For simple as cases this (no comma allowed inside the different parts) just replace %s, %s, %s % [^,], % [^,], % [^,] which means corresponds to something that isn't a comma followed by a comma.

  The question I have is probably very trivial, but I apparently I'm stuck with it. The task that I am doing is to transfer a 'string data' that I get from reading via RS232 port of a controller of movement (relative coordinates of the position of the engine), in a table, so I can use it following the curve of the path. The chain is as follows:

  TPM: * TPM + 1274.36, + 0, + 0, + 56.149

  and I want two of these four numbers in the data file, something like this + 1274.36, + 56.149, by rank

  When I put 'write LVM' express VI and wired it "read rs232" to "signal in VI" me gives error that the data do not match. I therefore feel that the string must be changed somehow before it can be written in the data file.

  Can someone help me with this problem please?

  It's my VI:

  You will need to use a function such as match on the palette of the string pattern.  Would be the model to look for the TPM secure: * party TPM assuming that is common on all lines of incoming data.  Then write the part after string matching in a text file.

  Since you just want to write the data to a text file, do not use the file function measure Express.  That really does work well if you already have a data type of 'Signal' as those coming from other Express VI.  Just use functions open close text, write files, in the range of file IO instead.  Search for Finder example for some examples.

  On the view tab, select Conversations > Off. Then click on display a line below the list of messages. Right-click on a column heading to select the column, drag a column header to reorder the columns, and click on a column heading to sort by that field.

  In the transformation of the mediator, the Source element is a string

  Unfortunately, the format required by the dateTime format is YYYY-MM - DDTHH:MM:SS.sss

  You can use the substring, and on the entry's concat function to create YYYY-MM - DDTHH:MM:SS.sss
