  I use Windows XP for years, no problem talking on Virgin Media, used Firefox for years, also no problem. This problem came out of the Blue yesterday. Took forever for the messaging client open, then the emailes does not open.

  There is no version of the 64-bit version of Firefox. What you got is mainly people plug-ins test and to make sure that things work when it is available. You wouldn't be able to do much without your plug-ins and have all been rewritten. Although Flash is now provided with 32-bit and 64-bit versions for users with 64-bit Firefox, so it's a major obstacle.
