It is free upgrade acs 5.0 to 5.1

We recently bought an ACS ACS 5.0 1120. This time 5.1 is out, can I download it and upgrade my ACS?

THX.

Yes. The same license can be used for the 5.0 and 5.1

In order to perform this update, there are a few tasks that need to be installed before the upgrade to 5.1

(1) patch ACS 5.0 9. The OCC: 5-0-0-21 - 9.tar.gpg

(2) ADE-version 1.2 / / / OS version operating system upgrades. The OCC: ACS_5.0.0.21_ADE_OS_1.2_upgrade.tar.gpg

These two steps, use the following command "acs patch installs the patch name. "tar.gpg repository repository-name "

Can then upgrade to 5.1 using following command:

application upgrade Application-bundle name-directory-remote

All the bundles of patch/upgrade can be downloaded EAC. 5.1 the package is called "ACS_5.1.0.44.tar.gz".

  • Legitimate request for a free upgrade to Windows 7

I am new to this forum and am revolted by the attitude of the staff of the Toshiba customer support to my legitimate request for a free upgrade to windows 7, here's an email I wrote in which I would appreciate your comments on:

    To the right.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your response to my legitimate request for a free upgrade to Windows 7 see I recently spent more than £1,000 of one of your products.

After having several problems with the Vista operating system, I telephoned your customer on December 4 and had a conversation with an employee who could not satisfy me as to why my machine was not entitled to an update free to Windows 7, as mentioned on your web site.

He offered to take me up to a supervisor I agreed and that was connected to a female member of staff who tried to explain that my model did not appear in the "promotion". I couldn't sense in explaining, in the context of facts that my machine was of the same age and from the same family as those seen offer "promotion."

This employee was still unable to respond or understand my question and said that it is not technical interested so I asked him to put me through to his supervisor and after 10 minutes on the line, I need to speak to Alistair Cook.

Mr. Cook explained 'promotion' for me, but could not explain why my model was not an option, so he said he'd call at the time where he discovered why. What he has made some time after and repeated her account earlier with no clarity. He said he would do more research on the issue and send me the results.

This contacting your customer support Office took a total of 48 minutes on the phone.

Vista is of all intentions, a failure, a fact that you accept your offer of free updates to your customers, so why discriminate against some consumers and not others.

I am a user of long-standing computers Toshiba, the Qosmio is my third laptop and I have always been satisfied customer support, not that it was greatly needed. So, I ask again that do you the right thing and give me my eligibility based on principles.

    Yours sincerely.

    Hi mate

    Very interesting point of view.
But the fact is that not all cell phones from Toshiba are checked for an upgrade to Windows 7.
    Why?

Well, I checked Toshiba European page
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-> Windows 7 upgrade

and there I was able to find a list of FAQS.

One of the FAQ provides this info:

_What requirements I must meet to participate in the program of upgrade? _

+ To participate in the upgrade program, you must meet the three following criteria: +.
    + 1. You purchased your Toshiba computer between June 26, 2009 and January 31, 2010. +
+ 2. Your Toshiba computer is one of the series of model to check on the Toshiba page. +
+ 3. With your Toshiba computer, you bought an operating system Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, Windows Vista® professional or Windows Vista® Ultimate Edition. +

It seems that several criteria must be met in order to participate in the Windows 7 upgrade program.

  • ModusLink free upgrade Vista - order confirmed - we have hope

I hope that my free upgrade to Vista can be delivered. After having crossed the Moduslink procedure and received the "error unrecoverablt" and then "we cannot validate your COA number", I, like many others, been at a loss what to do then (in the absence of any real help to Moduslink).

However, out of curiosity, I went back at the very beginning of the procedure of Moduslink and clicked on the link "check the existing order.

    GlobalLandingPage.aspx? oem = & Lang = https://upgradeweb.ModusLink.com/Vista/ConsumerWebsite/ (S (5ggosk45lxz42waxhpen4wfh))

I'll take my COA number and e-mail address, and to my surprise he says that my order has been confirmed. He also gave me an "order number". He gave not a good delivery date.

I eventually sent my order number with a copy of my proof of purchase to Moduslink (they need apparently). Now, waiting for a confirmation from them that the order will be shipped.

They have also responded to a couple of emails I sent, which is encouraging. They generally meet two days after I sent my e-mail. Therefore, I hope that tomorrow they will respond to my electronic purchase.

I hope this helps others. I should add that Moduslink advise may take 6-8 weeks before the Vista upgrade is shipped, but at least I have some hope now. That said, I him have not received yet, so who knows?

    Mr C

Thanks for this useful info! :)

I can't find the answer to a simple question of how to get my free upgrade to Vista and what I need to do and where I need to send the information. I bought my laptop in November and the right am to the free update.

I have v 8.0 Pages and Keynote v 6.6.1. Is there a FREE upgrade to the latest version or should I buy it?

It is not 8.0 Pages Pages ' 08, is named after the year it was released.

If it is installed on your Mac, you should be able to download the last Pages 5.6.1 toll-free.

    Have you tried? That's happened?

  • The free upgrade to Windows 10 for new or existing Windows 7 SP1, Windows Update 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices qualified that upgrade the first year

I had my laptop of HP 2000 for about 1 1/2 years, and had Windows 8 (not 8.1) preinstalled. The only problem: when you install the Technical Preview, my hard drive was completely wiped out and now I have no disk recovery plant. I would like to know if I can still qualify for the free upgrade offer for Windows 10.

    CJM

Microsoft did not say who yet, but if you have a legitimate win 8 key you are probably eligible, but you may have to reinstall 8.0 > 8.1 update > update from 1 to 10.  They just did not for sure yet

  • Free upgrade from Vista Home Premium 7

My laptop is still under warranty. I bought it New from Best Buy. Given that it was a floor model, they tell me that my computer is NOT available for free upgrade to Windows 7. Why? Is it possible that I can get a free upgrade to Windows 7? It has Vista Home Premium built in and the reason that I don't like is that it is not useful at all as much as to teach me how to use the computer. I am a senior and I learn right on the computer. If I can't get the free update, Do You traore the price of Windows 7 never boils? Any help is appreciated! Thank you very much!-Chris, in Dearborn, Michigan.

Suppose you have qualified for an Upgrade to Win7 for free if you had not bought a floor model is reduced, Chris. In any case, only Best Buy can really explain why the computer does not qualify.

You can buy an Express Upgrade to Win7 Home Premium (~ $120 USD retail or less) or Win7 Ultimate (~ 220 USD $ retail or less). See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/shop?T1=win7 or http://www.google.com/products?q=%22windows+7+home+premium%22+%2B+upgrade&hl=en&aq=f

Please note that the upgrade to Win7 peut invalidates your warranty and Service contracts.

In any case Windows Update has nothing to do with the upgrade of Windows. Please post future questions about the upgrade in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7install/threads

  • I bought a new computer with Windows 7 free upgrade. We also have another office.

I bought a new computer with Windows 7 free upgrade. We also have another desktop computer. My son has paid and downloaded Windows 7 Home Premium on this computer (Asus), not knowing that I had the free update. ASUS sent me free upgrade disks. Can I use these on another desktop computer? Or I can download Windows on another desktop computer and transfer my registration to it, and then use the Asus drives on this computer?

Your question has nothing to do with the functionality of Windows Update (vs Windows upgrade), Jan.

That being said, Asus only can answer your specific question. Good luck!

  • free upgrade path - XP to Windows 7

Is there a way of free upgrade from XP to Windows 7 that Microsoft offers? kindly help.

    Hello

No, currently there is no free upgrade to XP > 7. However, it is of course possible to XP > 7 in general.

Before getting started, or before the upgrade, you'll want to go there and download the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor - http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20

Essentially, what this software is that it scans your system / inserted to see if they will work properly with Windows 7. It also checks specifically your PC hardware to see if it meets the system requirements to install on your system.

Once you know everything will run OK and to be consistent, you'll want to read this to see how to start the upgrade process real - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-xp-to-windows-7#T1=tab01
