It is impossible to upgrade early 8.0. When I do, is short, but the site says that I don't have the latetst. I tried evrything.
For example, Gmail says I need to update Firefox. Firefox itself says when I try to give feedback. But I do each step by the "book".
Your string UserAgent in Firefox is probably messed up by another program you have installed.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/USER_AGENT
type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.
Filter = general.useragent.
Right click the preferences that are "BOLD", a line at a time, select reset.
Then restart Firefox

Upgrade from Windows XP to W7 nothing but problems.
I recently bought and installed windows 7 Home Edition premium, because microsoft does not support the windows xp more. Now all of my terrible looking graphics and I am unable to do my 'easy transfer' of my settings in my computer. It is said that there is not enough memory. Why would the transfer to proceed with the transfer if there is not enough room to put them on the same computer with the new windows operating system 7? Besides, why don't the Windows Upgrade Advisor warn me that my system would not support it. There was some software incompatibility issues but nothing that serious. I would like to go back to windows xp or windows 7 starter edition would work? I have a 2 GB of ram with a 32-bit op system. I fell I just lost my money and even less hours spent working on it. I realize it's time to upgrade, but want even this computer works for children and the wife.
Advise Windows isn't the end of everything, being together. Common sense and human interaction and research is always the majority of computing in my humble opinion. If a program can still tell you the answer - and in fact always reason - is it a good thing? ;-)
From my experience, we should always do their own research - investigating on their own. Ask others who have more experience in everything that they might plan to do a few questions so they could avoid an error. Yet, at this stage, human beings are still the best source for experience.
Windows XP should work fine for that machine. In fact - it was designed essentially around it (the machine has been designed around Windows XP--came with it). I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Windows 7 and in trouble, but I assure you - with the right material, that Windows 7 is the next Windows XP. :-)

My question pretty much says it all. Don't know what you want. I have a Windows Vista and you use FIrefox for at least 4 years.
Hi rv7431, don't you worry - you already use firefox 22 which is the latest version available.
the message you see is probably just show up, because you are using google.ca/firefox as your homepage, which has only been maintained up to what firefox 3 and displays now the warning message that you have referred to as no. matter what browser version you are using. change the homepage of Subject: House to answer the question and get the current home page of firefox...
Edit: another thing that is directly related to your original question - you have two present addons, sounding rather malicious (My Web Search 1.1, Performance Cache 1.0). I recommend to Remove...

My wife tried to update firefox and since then it will not open. When I click it a window appears and says that I have to finish the upgrade a previous version by restarting. When I reboot nothing changes.
If the files have already been downloaded, then delete the files in the folder updates\0 and updates.
You can also remove active - update.xml, or even updates.xml (stores the history of update).- http://KB.mozillazine.org/Software_Update (Update works not properly)
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox)
Do a cleaning (re) install and delete the folder of the program Firefox (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current version of Firefox if possible.
- Do NOT remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other profile data stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.

Dear team,
I want to devote 8 vcpu to one of the virtual machine, but it gives following error
"Virtual Machine has 8 virtual processors, but the host supports only 4. The number of virtual processors can be limited by the selected guest OS for the virtual machine or the granting of licenses for the host".
want to know the weather, that it depends on the os under license or guest vm
Hello
It is the restriction of license. 4-way vSMP is the right thing, you stressed in your screenshot.
If you upgrade your server and license to vSphere 5, you can allocate 8 vCPU with Standard license and 32 vCPU with your license of the company!

Impossible to upgrade to windows vista ultimate from vista home Basic using the upgrade disc
I bought a disc "to upgrade use only" Windows Vista Ultimate at my University and tried to upgrade my current version of Windows (Vista Home Basic).
At the stage where I had to select the 'Upgrade' or 'Custom' installation option, I noticed that the interface was telling me, 'Upgrade Disabled"with a message that has been along the line"this version of windows is already installed and cannot be upgraded."I know that the upgrade disc was probably intended for the upgrade from an earlier version of Windows like XP, but I assumed that because Microsoft also sells discs "Anytime Upgrade" to do exactly what I'm trying to accomplish this I would have had no problem. For any help or suggestion that contact would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance. It's all about Service Pack.
We don't know what you have.If Service Packs came pre-installed on the operating system, there is no way to uninstall them.
You will need to swap the disk to upgrade to a later version that includes the missing Service Pack.In this case, your upgrade disk has NO Service Pack installed with it.
Take it back to the University, if you cannot uninstall SP1 operating system.
See you soon... Mick Murphy - Microsoft partner

Firefox is upgrade Australis but Mozilla sites say it must continue to be updated
Go to help - About says that Firefox is updated. But whenever I open any site of Mozilla, told me to update to Firefox. Useful tips?
Also, I happen to love Australis. All my modules work very well, it is much faster and looks clean and lean. I use Classic theme restaurant just to set the bar of Status Bar/Add on on the bottom of the window. No problem, happy camper.
your useragent (information that the browser sends to websites to identify its version) is damaged. probably some kind of addon ("masking agent"?) crushed it. Please refer to this article to reset the settings of the user agent in firefox: websites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version
