I tried to uncheck copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding and held the iTUnes Dungeon Media folder, but it still happens. I understand that items purchased from the iTunes store can be hard wired as films, but I only have 2 of these. I'm fine with this limitation.

  It may be useful to what is currently considered a home video as a movie rather reclassified.  Select one of these items in iTunes and click read.  In the Info window, go to the Options tab.  Change the media kind of Home Video movie.  It should now appear in your library of films in film, no video for the House.  If your other files 'movie' (existing) can be arranged as you wish (you want in music for some reason any), it should also work for this film, which was previously a "home video".

  If it works to make a home video, you can select all of your remaining home video movies at the same time, do a multi-point informationand change their media type affecting the same way (in one shot).

• iTunes can't locate some of my music files. Places seems to be the same however. Help?

  My old motherboard itself killed a few weeks ago and I finally had time to take out the hard drive and transfer all my files over to my new laptop. The old and the new have been / are running the same version of Windows 10.

  I met a strange problem with iTunes (version 12.4.3) locate all my music files now. When I transferred the old files to the new computer, I did it without changing anything. All iTunes folders and subfolders are together just as they were before and so are my music from Amazon and other music files (some from other music sites, more old torn records). Nothing has changed on the level where it was stored, or how files or albums have been appointed, only the computers themselves. I literally just plugged the old hard drive, dragged all the subfolders in my music in the main folder of music on the old pC to the new folder of music from PCs and went on my way. I'm looking for the files on the old HARD drive and comparing them to the new computer and all are exactly the same.

  iTunes was no a problem of localization of music and videos in the folder iTunes at all, but it seems to refuse locate others, at least automatically. He finds some of the things Amazon, but not all, and it goes the same for ripped files. It seems to be forcing me to go through and individually, select it "!" marked songs/videos to find them manually on my computer. When I select the option automatically search and find other missing files, it tells me that iTunes could not locate the other missing files in 2000. This happens even with full albums that are located in the same folder. For example, I have a Florence + the Machine album, I bought from Amazon and all songs have been marked as being absent, so I found one of the songs manually in the album folder on my PC where are all the other songs on the album, but iTunes could not find the other songs on this album, even on its own. Normally this wouldn't be a problem and I'd go just to do one by one, but for 2000 files, it's a big enough problem. I'll be sitting here all night or add more just each individual file, even if many are together.

  The problem of 'missing file' with exclamation points occurs if the file is no longer where iTunes is expected to find. Causes possible is that you or a third-party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, one of its parents, or the reader, records it feeds has been a change in the letter of the drive or you have moved a non-portable library to a different path (see make a split cell library for more details). It is also possible that iTunes has changed from waiting for the files in the presentation of pre-iTunes 9 post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice versa, and so looking for a bit in the wrong place.

  Select a track with an exclamation point, use Ctrl-I to get information, then click on no when asked to try to locate the runway. Look under the file tab for the location that iTunes thinks that the file should be. Now look around your hard drive. I hope you can locate the track in question. If a part of your library has just been moved, renamed a folder or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse actions. If the difference between the two railroads is an additional music folder in a path, then it is a problem of layout. I can explain more if this is the case.   I have an iPhone 6 and uses iOS 9.3.2,and I recently deleted all my pictures and videos to free up space, "Manage the storage" in still however said circles I 23.4 GB of photos/videos like iTunes when I connect my iPhone to my Mac. I deleted my recently deleted folder and follow the instructions of a guy showing a year, which suggests to set my phone date about two years back and deleting the photos recently deleted the file and both of these solutions do not work. I have reset my phone (home and power button operation / stop) and also, it does not work. I don't want to wipe my phone and restore it if possible, but it's the only option I can think of next.

  Are there other solutions before I try this?

  Thanks for stopping by the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you are trying to free up space on your iPhone by deleting all the photos and videos, and you still see 23.4 GB absorbed by these files. You have already made sure to empty your recently deleted album, fix the date of return on your phone and performed a hard reset on your device. You did an excellent job so far, and I'll be happy to give you some ideas to move forward from here.

  Before diving into other troubleshooting procedures, it would be useful to ensure that you have a recent backup of your iPhone is available. This will help us ensure that all your important data is stored safely for you. Here is an article with information on how to backup your device:

  Once it is in place, I recommend you to reset the settings on your phone. This is not the impact of your personal data, but you will have to perhaps adjust the user specific settings, but also re - enter passwords and Wi - Fi networks. To complete this step, go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings. When you restart your phone, check if the local storage on your phone has updated to reflect the changes you did related to your photos and videos.

  I think the easiest would be to export music and photos in folders on an external hard drive, and then import them into their respective applications. There was too much change to each app to simply move the libraries and expect everything to work properly I think only.
