iTunes 12.4 - most of my music cannot be synchronized

So iTunes 12.4 erased ALL my tv shows: I had to add them. Now I go to sync music, and most of my music is not available to synchronize with my iPod. It's not by Apple music downloads; These are my songs I own & live on my computer. Hundreds of songs, and I was able to synchronize 48. Below shows what is available on my iPod for synchronization. Many of them are Apple music & cannot be in sync would be (The Beatles and Supertramp), but all the Zevon, Yuki Kajiura, some of the supercell - these are my albums & should be available to sync.

(And don't started even get me on the interface of Podcast and the loss of almost all my podcasts).

My guess is that it is related to your problem of TV shows.  iTunes is currently not access your media files from local storage.  If this is the reason for your problem, you see your music to iCloud.  This can occur if iTunes loses track of your files stored locally for some reason any.  Then iTunes starts to access your music to iCloud automatically, which may occur if (1) the songs are bought on the iTunes Store, or (2) you have an iCloud music library a subscription to Match iTunes or Apple music (or both).

You can check by right clicking to get information on one of your songs that does not synchronize.  Go to the files of the Info window tab and look at the situation.  It shows the path to the location of the song on your drive, or should I say iCloud?

It is unclear what you are asking, but if the question is (retired), the can transfer songs that are on an iPod nano (and nowhere else) to my current computer?

You cannot use iTunes.  By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from your computer to the iPod.  The exception is purchased songs on the iTunes Store, iTunes can verify ownership of these songs (command in the menu bar iTunes -> devices-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'the ipod transfer', you should get a few links, including a CNET article.

Once the files of the song on your disc, you can add them to your current iTunes library.

    Hi DJVF13,

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?
    2. were you able to sync the music from iTunes earlier?
    3. with what application you are trying to synchronize iTunes?

    Method 1:

You can check the link following if you are using Windows Media Player

    Method 2:

I would also check on the support page of Apple.com for iTunes. They have good articles on synchronization of content and files of the library.

  • "library iCloud music cannot be activated.

I just got the iPhone 6 s more and I'll be back all icloud backup except for my music library. I tried to turn on "iCloud library" several times and we see "library iCloud music cannot be unlocked", what should I do? Someone please help! Thank you!

Im having the same problem. I bought a new MacBook Pro last night, it does not load my library of music iCloud. I read online that an easy solution is to log out of your Apple account music on all your devices. I did, and now I can't load my library on any of my devices in all. I hope it's just a temporary server error. Very stressful... I have years of music completely disappeared now.

  • iTunes loses contact with (cant find) music on USB

Years, I kept my large collection of music & audio book, etc. on a USB key, keeping my clear computer memory. I have set itunes NOT organize or copy music, leaving in the folders I find convenient. I have no problem setting up itunes and adding music and audiobooks to itunes then manually transferring what I wish for my iphone and ipod. However, if I accidentally open itunes on my computer, when the usb drive is disconnected, or have used the computer with this disconnected, when I reconnect the usb drive itunes tells me that

for EACH element in my music collection! The only way I know is "reconnect" itunes with music delete all items on itunes and re - import all my music. I was never able to find information on this itunes forums. I would be so grateful for the help to solve this long-standing problem.

However, if I accidentally open itunes on my computer, when the usb drive is disconnected, or have used the computer with this disconnected, when I reconnect the usb drive itunes tells me that

    This is the right answer!

If iTunes is open and can not find the location of the library designated, it will immediately default to the local disk.  So, even when the replacement of the USB, iTunes won't to get there.  So, if you want to have your library on the USB port, always make sure that it is connected before launching iTunes.

  • I lost most of my music from itunes because of a terrible infection (my own stupidity because I didn't have a backup).  I had an old account to my work, so I contacted support. They said they couldn't help. Someone has an idea? I paid for it.

My music has been on a computer at work, so I can't access the account.  I talked to the media and they a great buy from this old account but now they say they are unable to move the rest.  That is not meant for me, but they can't do it. I don't remember having a Apple ID at this point here, I just use my email address but it is a private estate, so I can't sign this account more.  All hope is lost?

If you do not have to keep a backup copy, and then they are gone.

    Sorry

  • I tried to sync my ipod with my iTunes after the addition of new music, but when I tried it could not synchronize?

the error is '1156' apparently 'others' files is full and not audio files that I check to see if they took up a lot of memory, but they don't I also dumped more music that I added but still didn't work I also checked the calendar, SMS, apps, and other programmers like that but nothing happened and the 'other' bar still takes most of the capacity on my iTunes when it does not still took half of what my audio did before I tried the sync. • After restoring my computer and iTunes download, iTunes can not find my my music files.  They have to be in the specific format or a folder iTunes for a recognized?

I had to restore my computer from the ground upward.  I save my music files and then reloaded after the system restore.  Then, I downloaded the latest version of iTunes.  But apparently iTunes can't find my music restored files.  I use a 10 newly installed Windows.  Y at - it a particular format to place the music files should be put in order for iTunes to see.  Or maybe a procedure that I did not follow properly.  Please notify.  Thank you.

If you have registered to the iTunes library database files, launch iTunes with the SHIFT key is pressed and choose this library. If this isn't the case, slide the song files into the application window open iTunes or add it automatically in the iTunes folder.

Looking for albums that are no longer in the apple's music! Miss me hundreds of titles! Where did they go? How can they be recovered?

See the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library, although if you have an active subscription to Apple music I would expect to see the same set of tracks, but in the cloud.
