iTunes App updates are no longer sync with iPhone

I'm in iOS 9.2 on my iPhone and iTunes 12.3.2.35 64-bit on Windows 10 Pro.  It was that when I updated my apps on the iPhone and then sync the phone with iTunes, applications would be update automatically in iTunes and then appears in the Recycle Bin, ready to remove older versions of applications.  In this case is no longer, so now I have to update the applications on the iPhone and iTunes separately if I want to update Apps in both.  What is the purpose of this?  Why double our efforts?  I tried to update Apps in iTunes first and then running synchronization.  Applications updates appear then to be transferred to the iPhone while sync ("transfer Apps... 1 of 4... [Application name] "), but then when I finished the sync and see the updated section of the applications in the App Store on the iPhone, they always appear not updated, with a red circle on the App Store icon indicating the number of applications that need to be updated, and the word"Update"still alongside the Apps in question in the updated App Store section.  What gives?

In addition, in iTunes, in the [my iPhone] / Summary / Apps section, I used to see all of my Apps in the left column, but see only 20 of them.  All 100 + Apps are still displayed on the right-hand side of the screen, which reflects the layout of my iPhone windows, but I discovered that, in order to restore all applications in the left column, I had to go to my account name in iTunes at the top of iTunes then click on purchase and then re-download applications.  Why on Earth?  They who don't take up much room on my SSD and they are already on the iPhone, so there is no saving space on the iPhone by showing only not all applications in the left column, so what gives?  What's the point?

Please return to the process where when I sync my iPhone my Apps are updated automatically in iTunes.  Why do you do the doubly difficult process?  And, what's now the sync at all, if I don't have photos or new playlists or something like that on my machine I want to synchronize with the iPhone?  There is no synchronization, then, and so unless I have no particular reason to synchronize then I don't be backup versions of the database of the iPhone on my machine on a regular basis!  Apple, you get an Apple rotten to me!  I thought you were all make tech easier to use, more confused!

A feature introduced with iOS 9 called thinning or slicing app app allows each device to download just the code and resources required by this device, resulting in smaller downloads and a better use of the storage on the device. Therefore the device is no longer the universal version of the application that can be installed on any device to transfer applications is no longer supported. I hope that Apple will bring some changes to how it works, but in the meantime, you can download past purchases from iTunes or activate the automatic shopping app downloads to ensure that iTunes has always the apps you want on your device. As long as you make sure that all of the apps are present and updates in iTunes before you attempt a restore there should be no loss of data. I cannot confirm, but it seems a way to recent update all data are restored and apps that are not in the library are waiting to download from the iTunes Store over Wi - Fi, in a similar way to the restoration of the iCloud way works.

  • IPod No. Longer syncing with iTunes

    Hello

I briefly tried Windows 10.  Did not like after that various things were not compatible with it (as my external hard drive) I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7, which naturally erased my iTunes library.  Everything was just about imported CDs and single tracks purchased outside of iTunes so can all be delivered on.

I got a couple of new CD for Christmas, bought from the slopes of 7Digital.  They appear in my iTunes library but my iPod Classic does not synchronize more so I am unable to transfer them to my iPod.

I'm relatively new to al cela but do not want to wipe everything iPod accidentally pressing the wrong thing. On my iTunes summary, a box to say "Sync only checked songs and videos".  Everything is checked into the library.

    Can someone tell me please.

    Thank you so much x

    p.s. I wish I never installed Windows 10.

I have an old 4th gen iPod "classic" with black & white screen too...

If your library iTunes music everything fits on your iPod, it's easy to set up.  You must enable automatic synchronization and tell iTunes to sync 'all '.

Select iPod in iTunes (click on its button on the device on the horizontal bar), to display the settings screen in the iTunes window.  The side left (in the sidebar), under settings, click music.  Right, parameters of music on the iPod screen.

NOTE: For anyone else reading this, any song on iPod which is NOT in the iTunes library (on computer) will be lost.

At the top of the window, check the box to Sync music.  This enables automatic synchronization.  Below, choose the option to synchronize the entire music library.  At the bottom, click apply.  iTunes syncs "all" (music-related) for iPod.  Go further, iTunes automatically synchronizes the changes in the music library on iPod, the next time it is connected (or when you click Sync if already connected).

The following steps should solve the problems around the synchronization, assuming that all the content you want in your library.

(If it isn't see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device)

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  • iTunes asks me to erase and sync with the computer, I have always used

I have Apple's music service and I did a new playlist on my computer in iTunes. I went to manually transfer the playlist and the option was no longer available, and he said that iCloud music library was on and it does not give me the option to manually add music. I turned iCloud music library off on my iPhone and the option to add manually the music once again appeared in iTunes. When I clicked "Sync Music", he acted as if I've never used this computer to add music and said it would erase all the data and sync with this library. Did register for Apple music destroy my ability to still add music manually from iTunes? It is quite frustrating. Please can someone explain if there is a way to listen to my new playlist without erasing and reloading of music again?

I use a Macbook Pro. All the software on the phone and the computer is up-to-date.

If both your device and your library are implemented for Apple music then you don't synchronize with iTunes. Content or playlists added to the library appears on the device and can be listened to or downloaded by Wi - Fi.

  • The audio files are out of sync with video clock?

I record an audio book with premiere pro 2014, is therefore a larger file, then Adobe switched me to first pro 2015 and now it says that my audio files are out of sync from the video clock. I realize Adobe has no technical support so I googled a cure. They told me to remove CC 2015 and reinstall CC 2014. Of course, Adobe's download anything over three days old extremely difficult unless you are following specific steps that are simply in place to harass. Try as I could, download CC 2014 cannot be done. My question is this: How can I re - sync my files using only CC 2015? What is the best way?

  • Palm Pre is no longer syncing with Google Calendar

I had my pre for 4 to 5 weeks, and when I got it, I configured the calendar to sync with my Google Calendar.  Everything worked well.  At one point, he stopped synchronization.  If I add something to the calendar via Google, I do not see on my pre and if I add an event on the pre, he never appears on Google.  Of course, I tried the option sync nothing helps.  I don't know whether or not this happened around the V1.1.0 update.  Is anyone having problems syncing with Google Calendar?

    THX,

    Brett

    Hello Bartman,

You can try remove and add the gmail account to the pre.  If this does not work, try to create a test gmail account and add it to the front.  This will tell you if your email account or the Palm Pre.

    Let us know what happens...

  • Contacts do not sync with iPhone

    Hi-

I have recently updated to Snow Leopard to El Capitan (five operating systems in a jump!  Yikes!).  Little by little, I'm working on the kinks...  And here's one:

When I change an element in a field on a contact in the Contacts, the change appears (if any) on the web at https://www.icloud.com/#contacts, but it does not appear on my iPhone (5 c; iOS 9.2.1) even a week later.

    On my iPhone:

    Settings-> iCloud-> Contacts-> in the

Settings-> Contacts-> [I don't see anything that could relate to this problem.]

On my MacBook Pro (mid-2009; 10.11.3 MacOS):

Sync with iTunes 12.3.2.35 works but does not solve this problem.

iTunes-> my iPhone-> settings (left panel)-> info-> Contacts Sync says:

Your contacts are being synchronized with your iPhone on the airwaves to iCloud.

On-line synchronization settings can be changed on your iPhone.

I would like your suggestions for this research problem.

    -Gil

It's working now.  I fiddled with the settings using http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html as a guide.  The thing that did it, I was, on my iPhone, I got to settings-> Mail, Contacts, calendars-> GMail-> Contacts-> IT.  I turned it off.  I think that's what I did.   In a few minutes, I had duplicate for each contact entries on my iPhone.  For contacts that I had changed on my MacBook Pro, an entry was old, a new.

Back on my Mac, I selectedContacts-> map-> Look for duplicates... It found 930 duplicates.  I chose to merge, then manually modified entries recently modified to remove outdated information.  In a few minutes, the Contacts on my iPhone fell in line.  Now, everything's fine.

  • Sync with iPhone iOS9 IOS10

    Hi all

I have an iPhone 6 with iOS10 on it, but I'm about to receive one with iOS9 (with more disk space), and I would like to know if it was possible to synchronize all content that I had on the previous (accounts, text messages, snapchat memories etc.) to the new, free update to ios10.

I kind of liked iOS9 and I would like to continue using it for a while.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards

    Ilimano

    Hello Ilimano,

Looks like you get another phone but not update to iOS 10 and to synchronize the content from your old device. While you will not be able to restore a backup from a device with a new version of the iOS to one with an earlier version, you will be able to synchronize the content you have in iCloud.

    http://www.Apple.com/icloud/Setup/iOS.html

As for any content sync you to iTunes on your current phone, you will be able to synchronize this content even in iTunes in the same way you did before:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  • Sync with iPhone and Bluetooth streaming

    Hi all

I synced my iPhone with my iTunes music library, but many songs can not be stored directly on the phone because of a lack of storage space.  However, I still see those who do not have to store and play them from the phone, even when I'm away from my computer bluetooth.

I wonder if I can resync so that some songs are stored on the phone but I can play them anyway.  Which would free up a lot of memory on the phone.  Seems there should be a way to do this.  I posted a similar question on the forum of the iPhone, but the only suggestion I got was to subscribe to Apple music or iTunes game.

    Any ideas appreciated!

You could use home sharing which is over wi - fi.

iOS: set up home sharing on your device - https://support.apple.com/HT202190 - ' with home sharing in iOS 4.3 or later, you can listen to your iTunes library all over your home Wi - Fi network from your Mac or PC to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. "

If they are purchases on the iTunes Store, you can be re - download the unknown for you over wi - fi or a stream and playing them from your device.  This only works for Apple purchases and if you want to extend this to other elements of the music, you will need to subscribe to one of the above services.

  • Can't stop message sync with iPhone

This behavior has only just begun. Some time ago I synced my iPhone 6 SMS messages with the Message app on my Macbook using only my phone (via iCloud) number. Later, I disabled the account. Just recently, whenever I start typing a message on the phone, new part of the dock appears on the side of my dock with the Message icon in this document, this icon has also a small gray badge phone on this subject. It will not stop it and I want to disable the message between my phone and my Macbook link. Is this a bug?

It is the continuity/transfer... I used Bluetooth for Airdrop, he left and did not know how to work the transfer procedure

  • iPhone 6 s is no longer syncing with iTunes

    Hello

My 6 s iPhone is no longer recognized by iTunes (and so no synchronization or backup). I use the latest versions of iOs and iTunes on Windows 10. This problem started occurring after that I installed the VPN software on my PC, I deleted since.

When I go into iTunes-> Preferences, under the "Sharing" and "Devices" tabs, it says: "the Bonjour service has been disabled. Hello is required to play music via AirPlay speakers and use the iPhone and iPod Touch remote. Please enable the service to use these features. »

So, I assumed that Hello is somehow turned off. However, when I go into the Services, he says that Hello is running and the startup type is set to 'automatic' as it should...

    What I've done so far:

-J' I followed all the steps mentioned here: If iTunes does not your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple Support

-Re-installed iTunes, update the software Apple, Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support, Hello

    -Restart all Apple applications services

    -Remove my anti-virus software

Nothing works :-( You have an idea on how I couldd solve this problem? Thank you very much in advance.

Anyone? I tried another installation of iTunes and Apple software, but iTunes still does not recognize my iPhone... Kind of feeling of despair.
