iTunes crash at startup only when connected to the internet

Recently updated iTunes to 12.33 12.3 on a Dell Windows 7 machine.  Now it hangs at startup, but works well if I disconnect ethernet. But it's not very useful, since I want to respond to my music and videos to an AppleTV is connected to the system via the local network home entertainment. Followed the troubleshooting instructions to completely uninstall and reinstall, and then updated all the drivers from Dell web site. Tried to disable the firewall. Problem persists. Called to Apple Support. They walked me through all these same steps all over again and who have not, they say not our fault, "contact Microsoft".  Any suggestions out there?  I could find a download of an earlier version of iTunes on internet, but I'm afraid to make a pirated version. Is there a reliable source for previous versions?

  • Startup slow when connected to the internet

My desktop pc (2.4 GHz / Vista SP2 - 32-bit operating system / 500 GB HD / 3 GB RAM) normally takes 4-5 minutes to start with an internet connection.  In the last few days, but it took 25 to 30 min to start when it is connected to the internet, but still only 4-5 minutes if not connected to the internet. I know that the obvious answer is not to connect to the internet until the pc is completely started, but would be interested to hear all of the solutions that anyone might like this only happened in the last days. The red light on the front of the pc normally blinks quickly at the start but now is slow and intermittent. Once fully booted the pc runs at normal speed. Don't know if it's relevant, but MS Security Essentials takes a long time to appear in the system tray and only turns green after about 25 minutes. I've done a full scan in MS Security Essentials but found nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

This accident was related to fp.sys.  I find little information about this driver, and that often means malicious software.  I ran Malwarebytes to eliminate the risk.  If malwarebytes comes back clean I would rename it from fp.sys to fp.bak so that it cannot load and see what complains.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update immediately.
Do a full scan of the system
Let us know the results at the end.

I have keysight power supply connected to the PXI-8880 via GPIB, it does not detect when it is connected to the internet & it was detected when its not connected. Any body can help me to solve this problem.

This problem occurs because of a conflict in present multiple network adapters in the system. It was a question that has used for detection of targets ethernet to the system that has been resolved. But then this question has also resolved to do the same thing. You can follow the link on how to change the order of the present network adapters in the system.

You must also make sure that the IP addresses of the network adapters are different, otherwise conflict can happen also.

  • How can I get a full screen when connecting to the internet, my screen display 1/4 when it is connected to the internet. I then optimize it

How do I get a full screen when I connect to the internet, my screen appears1/4 screen when I connected mthen should maximize it?

    Three options.

1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

  • How to stop iPhone to convert to the iMessage automatically when connected to the Internet?

I have an iPhone, and some of my contacts are saved with iMessage and SMS. Whenever I start a conversation with a contact, it is a conversation of message text (green bubble), but as soon as I try to text the person while I'm connected to the internet, the conversation turns into an iMessage (blue bubble) conversation. I don't want it to do as sometimes the contact cannot be connected to the internet and therefore will not receive a my test up to connect to the Internet. How to make a conversation that began as a conversation of SMS RESTENT a SMS conversation, whereas if I don't want to start a conversation with the same contact iMessage, I manually converted an iMessage conversation?

    Thanks in advance guys.

You can do that unless you put temporarily out of your data connection (settings-> cellular) or disable iMessage himself.

But the good news is that you don't have to do either. In settings-> Messages, you will find an option called "send as SMS. If you turned it on and your receiver remains offline for a few minutes, the message will be sent as message text automatically.

In addition, if you see the iMessage has not been delivered, you can tap and hold the bubble and will give you the ability to send as message text as well.
