iTunes has stopped working / Win10 64

Hello

I have a problem running iTunes on 64-bit Windows 10. (Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 12)

As soon as I click on the iTunes Store tab, the program crashes and I get the message "iTunes has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..." and after a few seconds he said "a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

I have already tried:

Complete uninstallation of all programs Apple, including the deletion of all files, and then reinstall it.

If I do this, the installation fails. He tells me that the bonjour service cannot be started.

That's why I opened archive installation with 7-zip and has just installed iTunes and support the application. That worked well, but I still get crashes.

I don't know what else I could try and you'd be grateful for any help!

Thank you and best what is the Switzerland

Jonas

The 12.3.3.17 version seems to cause problems for some people. It may be best to roll back to the last version of iTunes that has worked for you. then wait for the following. See the programs installation of iTunes to download links. If you're back from 12.3.3.17 to 12.3.2.35, then you must also restore the database of the library in the manner described in the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library.

    Hi all

iTunes worked very well for me in Win10, until the last update. (12.3.3.17) now, whenever I run iTunes, I get the message "iTunes has stopped working" and the program stops. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program as detailed here...

.. .but the program still "stops working."

My system Win10 House, 64-bit, all of the updates. iTunes is 64 bits, too.

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

I had a lot of problem with my iTunes crashing / freezing - up after I've upgraded to the latest version also.

In my case, the symptoms were different, but after trying many possible solutions, which had no effect at all, I discovered the following post useful here:

    Empty/corrupted library iTunes after upgrade/crash

While the symptoms are different, because you have already tried to reinstall the software, perhaps the problem may be related to your library, iTunes, or (as in my case), seems to be a problem caused by the Apple's music, which only manifested itself during the access artists in iTunes that I have previously set to 'follow' Apple music!

After that I've disabled showing music Apple (from the tab general in iTunes Properties) as suggested in this article, all of a sudden my iTunes stopped freezing / crashing.

  • iTunes has stopped working

I've been struggling with this for a couple of hours now.

Whenever I have sync / restore my iPhone or iPad, iTunes returns this message.

I followed the guides of the questions above, but nothing works.

I updated all the software, check all my applications security, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried safe mode and moved the .dll files.

I tried EVERYTHING literally and yet I am still unable to sync my devices.

    Help, please.

Try Fix unexpectedly closes or launch issues in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

The more information box has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with third-party software.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

These errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, then fix the component it is programs and features Control Panel. CoreAudioToolbox.dll belongs to Apple Application Support and are normally in

    • C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support

where the name of the Program Files folder may vary depending on the region.

If this is not a tear complete work down and rebuild that appears in the second box from the tip of the user should.
