  • rearrange the files in the folder "iTunes media" is gray

I have a good size iTunes media folder which WAS organized in subfolders - music, movies, etc.  I just noticed that my most recent files are not saved in these subfolders.  Instead, everything will be saved in iTunes Media.  When I consolidate files, everything said is it.  I want to rearrange the files in the folder "iTunes media" but this option is grayed out.  Any suggestions on how to get everything converted?  I am looking at about 80 artists a few singles and other full CD.

iTunes is a database application. You must organize your music within the interface of iTunes and let iTunes organize real files. Otherwise, it's only a matter of time before the database is interrupted.

    Hello

Is someone can you PLEASE advise me how I can prevent ITunes turning prematurely gray?  It starts with persistence without asking for confirmation.  I want to be able to achieve is to prevent ITunes automatically start under ANY circumstances.

I have already completed THE steps to ignore my IPhone and IPad and Itunes isn't in any login script (as far as I can see).   Something is always load up and leads me into the wall

What seems to be incited ITunes at startup was a message saying that my Session of Apple (or something like that) had expired and I had to reconnect again...

I found a solution a little backward... but I wonder if an Itunes update has restored this infuriating behavior and to make it worse, I remember not where I found the solution.

    Guidance would be MUCH appreciated.

  • Playlist problem - songs greyed

    Hello world

I have a problem with Apple's music playlists. It's the same on my iPhone 6s and MacBook Pro with the retina.

When I try to add a song from Apple's music library (I can normally play it in the "Browse" tab), it shows in my playlist as a song unplayable greyed out AND it only happens with some songs.

Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

    Hi, szymon90!

Thank you for reaching out by communities of Apple Support about some songs in grey in the Apple's music. I love being able to listen to a variety of music through the service and ask to have access to all the music that is available to you; I'd be happy to help you!

There could be a number of reasons that your songs are grayed out, as indicated in the section 'If your songs appear in light gray text' article listed here: status and iCloud library icons

Your songs may appear in iTunes in light gray text for various reasons. These reasons include:

    • You are not connected to iCloud music library. If you see a disconnected icon in the upper right corner of iTunes, you are not connected to iCloud music library. Click the icon to reconnect.
    • The song is not in the Apple music or is not available in your current country. These songs also appear in gray if you look for them in the Apple's music.
    • Restrictions are enabled for explicit titles. Learn more about the Restrictions.
    • An artist or a content provider makes changes or changes to an album. You may need to remove the album from your library and add it up Apple's music catalog.

    Have a great day!

  • When restoring disabled iPad (4thGen) extraction of software on itunes remains motionless and gray

I tried to restore my ipad today and connected to my computer. I put in recovery mode and chose update and restore. Upward at the top of the screen a progress bar came to the extraction of a software written on it. However, the progress bar remained motionless and gray. I tried to do that three times already nothing helps. The ipad stays in any mode of recovery for 15 minutes and then returned to his off screen. Please help me, I'm at my wits end. Thank you

    You use these statements?

If you are unable to update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple supports

If you can't make it work on your computer, try another computer. Computers running the latest version of iTunes can be used as recovery mode, will erase the iPad in any case.

  • Cancellation of Apple's music has grayed out some songs from iTunes game

    Background:

    • I use iTunes game.
    • All the songs in my library have been downloaded by me.
    • I tried Apple's music for a while and then cancelled.

    Question:

    • Some of the songs that I downloaded in my subscription of Apple's music are now gray out and unable to be played.
    • On the iPhone (and previously on my Mac) I wonder to renew my subscription to Apple's music when I try to read them.
    • It seems that iTunes thinks that these are songs from Apple's music, when they certainly are iTunes songs Match (most of the songs is not yet on Apple music).

    Attempted fixes:

    • I tried all kinds of re - authorize etc and nothing works.
    • I talked at length to Apple on the phone who now asked me to install OS X (which I'm hated to do that I don't see it being a problem of BONE).

How can I return these songs? Is this a known bug?

Okay, that was user error. The songs were incorrectly uploaded from another computer!

Only the sight of songs using the drop-down list located at the top right of the playlist. CTRL + click all empty the box to check, or ctrl-click on a square filled twice. This will ensure that all tracks are checked and enabled for synchronization or shuffle playback.

However, iTunes is a program from Apple and iTunes is an Apple smartphone, and it is no longer supported on Android! It's unreal.

  • Why are some of my songs in Apple's music on iTunes Macbook grayed out but playable?

Many people had had the problem of having dimmed completely unplayable songs, but it's different. Some of my songs downloaded music on my Apple Macbook are greyed out compared to other songs, but still playable. When I play an album or a playlist with those songs, they are always ignored, but if I manually click on them, they play. Why gray songs and can not be read automatically? It is kind of annoying, how they are always ignored and cannot be played unless you want to listen to them in unique and individual parts? How can this problem be solved? Thank you.

Somewhere - possibly for songs - not checked these selections. The songs are still in your library but will play only if you select directly. You need to right click on the song and select "check selection". That will reverse the graying of the song.
