    Thank you!

Make sure that you're not displaying mode iTunes full screen.

If you are in full screen view, exit by pointing the cursor near the top left corner by pressing the green round button (that you used to enter full screen mode).

  • How to remove the menu bar of the last update of itunes?

The little square that used to appear on the top, isn't there anymore, so I can't go there to remove the menu bar that appears under the player. Before the update, the menu and the options were in a little square on top (left) and you could turn on and turn off the menu bar there, but now that I updated Itunes, that square doesn't appear anymore, and the menu bar just stays there. I tried everything to remove it but I don't know how. It kinda bugs me seeing the menu bar there since i'm used to just have it in that little square on top.

Can you please take a screenshot, using shift + command + 4 (the cursor will turn into crosshairs), to draw a rectangle around what say you all?  I can't follow what you describe.

  • Can send iTunes to Apple tv, but no airplay icon in my menu bar

I have an iMac late 2009 27 "El Capitan 10.11.3 beta running and to understand that it does not support mirroring. However, I can broadcast anything from iTunes on my 3rd GEN appletv Itunes displays an AirPlay button and all I have to do is click on it and select from my apple TV I want to send to.

My question is - if I can broadcast since perfectly from iTunes - how can I stream my Slingbox, Netflix or Hulu? There is no airplay icon in my menu bar and Yes, I went to screens > settings and check mirror available.

It's really a change to my original post. I know that I can use the apps for Netflix and Hulu and it's fine - I have them used just to test and displayed without thinking. It's really my Slingbox & Amazon I want to send to my appletv.

I don't like using iTunes with the menu bar being there all the time. It makes iTunes appear cluttered! Clear, clean and simple, being one of the reasons why I like Apple. Please Apple bring the option to hide the menu bar.

  • Spry menu bar display in IE compatibility mode

The menu bar horizontal spry on http://ww.ituna.ca works fine except that if a person has their defined to display IE browser compatibility javascript is disabled and the Drop downmenu does not work. Someone who isn't savy to this setting will find that the menu bar does not - there was a way to avoid this - works fine in chrome and firefox.

Ok. Now I understand what you are getting. In IE8, there is a compatibility button which resets the browser IE7 standards. This has nothing to do with JavaScript.

Test the page in IE7, I see the problem. There are a few errors in the markup.

The or to line 385 the line reads

    autoHeight: 'false. '

Being the last property in the constructor, there should be no comma at the end, so the line should be

    autoHeight: 'false. '

The second problem is caused by the implementation of the link to the SpryMenuBar.js. Just move this link to the top of the links as per

  • The menu bar clock freezes after recovery from sleep mode

After the upgrade to Sierra, I noticed that the clock in the menu bar (top right) show wrong time.  This occurs when the iMac comes out of his SLEEP.  When I hoover the pointer of the mouse on the clock, it would turn into a spinning ball (i.e. no response).  I have to disconnect and reconnect so that the clock in the menu bar to indicate the correct time.  She would continue to work until the next time that the iMac comes out of SLEEP.

  • How to remove the period/point of the day and month in the menu bar

Since the upgrade to Sierra I noticed that the day and month in the menu bar have now periods (diaphragm openings) after them, for example 'Sun' instead of 'Sun '. It is not possible to change this by using the language and region settings. I find them boring. Is there any other way (for example by using Terminal Server) to get rid of them?

This is the default value for the Australia, for example. What region is selected in system preferences?
