  If you look at the pie chart to JDiskReport, you should be able to click on the segment called 'Google' and get more details.  Individual files should also appear in the left pane.  Google itself shouldn't take up to 4 GB - use - you Google docs?

  When you run JDiskReport and let it scan your whole drive (C:\), at the end of the scan there should be a box in the center of the pie chart giving the total amount of space used.  Is this the same amount shown as 'Space used' If you go to desktop, right-click on C:\ and select Properties?  Otherwise, what is the difference?

  To see exactly what is on your drive, follow these steps:

  Open disk management (start > run > diskmgmt.msc > OK).  You should see something like this.

  The default view (shown in the screenshot linked) presents all the "volumes" in the upper pane and all the physical disks in the lower pane (view > Top > list of Volume and display > down > view graphic).

  The computer shows the screenshot has two physical disks, labeled in the lower pane as disk 0 and disk 1.  There are 7 volumes (drives or partitions, or colloquially)--4 these volumes or disks are on the physical disk 0 and the other 3 are on the physical disk 1.  As you can see, Windows XP and Windows Vista are installed on this computer (in separate partitions).

  With the exception of the rounding errors, if you add up all of the sections shown in each line in the lower pane, you will get the total physical capacity of the disk, also shown at the left end.

  At this point, only look in disk management.  Don't be really something (like deleting something).

  Another suggestion would be to install CCleaner.
  It's a free program and it will help you to remove unnecessary files and recover disk space.
  I use it regularly.

  Since I installed Win7 - x 64 Ultimate on my system a month and half ago (was a clean install, not upgrade), I had a few things of stange happening (for example, my pc now randomly beeps at me through the pc speaker), I have not confirmed this, but it seems to be a sound signal at the same time as the event ID 1001 - Windows Error Reporting occurs ("Bucket Fault 2937..." etc., but) the problem always different signatures).

  The event is an event 'Information', however due to the volume of events, I wanted to make sure that it is not more serious, as happened 52 times until today, but average about 25 - 30 per day. I did a quick search on google and noticed that exactly what I saw was a known issue for Win2000 and Win Server 2003, but has not found anything to do with Windows 7. (see KB290647 & KB271213)

  1. remove your PIN to any sites that could have posted looking for BBM buddies.

  2. the messages in RED are like a PIN message. Removal of BlackBerry Messenger does not remove the PIN messages.

  Go to Options > Security > firewall and enable the firewall to block any PIN messages to your deivce.

  Below, click on "except messages from Contacts" so that you do not block the friends in your contact address book already. When you see this screen, you will see the appropriate settings.

  I have an X 301 CTO 2777 with the largest battery plant.  SSDS running Windows 7.  All Windows patches up-to-date.  All BIOS and drivers up-to-date.  Reinstalled power management.  When I put the laptop into hibernation it drains the battery at a rate of 20% per day.  The behavior of the machine is the hibernation and not sleep.

  Finally heard of level 2.  This person has checked with his boss and came up saying it has been said that it is a problem experienced on the Microsoft side.  Fixed in Vista by KB article 970030 but no solution for Win 7 again.

  Interestingly, I had installed and tested the new power management driver that did not help.

  I had just installed the engine power Manager 3.2 March 2010 but was testing.  It turns out that this driver seems to have solved the problem.
