• I can't set my monitor. Computer is not recognized as a HPS2031

  I bought an HP computer and your monitor and paid to put it in place.  The monitor shows too big and it wont let me adjust the size.  It is on the 640-480 and should be much larger, but will not change.  I guess that the computer does not recognize the monitor.  I unplugged and plugged in.  I've done all the troubleshooting.  Any ideas?

  I did the recent update of windows on 16/10/12 and norton antivrus also updated.  I have 205 days remaining on my norton subscription; However, when I turned on my computer today windows Action Center prompted me that my firewall is configured incorrectly and windows does not recognize a virus on my computer.  My Norton is still listed as a program on my computer and I can access them from the menu programs.  Help, please.

  Sigh. He has such a cacophony of solutions to solve Java installation problems that even a user strays. The last solution to the problems of installation of Java refers to Java v7 u10. The solution is yet to indicate the version of Firefox, they run. It comes to March 2013. The latter was published in September 2012.

  Frankly, I am very, very disappointed. I love Firefox - but someone dropped / is dropping the ball on this one.

  Answer to my own post:

  Out of all the solutions posted about Java install problems, I was able to glean one thing: a re-installation of Java and a reinstall of Firefox may well resolve the issue.

  Well, for me, so far, he has.

  The simple steps I followed:

  1. Create Restore Point (Control Panel, search for "Create a Restore Point")
  2 uninstall my version of Java (Panel, "Uninstall a program")
  3 reset
  4. Download Firefox latest version (for me, was the 19.0.2, version in my downloads folder)
  5. download AND install the latest Java (now version 7, updated 17 @java.com)
  6 reboot
  7 install the latest Firefox ("Firefox Setup 19.0.2" application-double-click in my downloads folder)
  8A started Firefox (NOTE: my current extensions and plugins are not affected) and went to my favorite site that requires Java.
  9 THANK GOD, it worked! (NOTE: he did ask me if I wanted to RUN THIS APPLICATION)

  Previously, when starting a scan session I hit on my desktop printer icon, click on 'functions of the scanner', then click on "connect the scanner to the computer.   I see that you encounter some problems when trying to scan to your computer.  To see if the HP scanning option is available, click Start and then go to all programs, and then click the yellow folder HP. In the HP folder, you should see your printer quoted as well as a scanner HP.  Try to scan from here.  If it solves your problem, you can place a shortcut on your desktop by analysis of HP right click and select Create shortcut on the desktop

• Still waiting new firmware and now my computer is not recognizing my opinion.

  Well, I sent the service to the customer, without promising real response to indicate when, if ever, the new firmware has to be stopped.

  In the meantime, a week ago my computers started to not recognize my opinion market, including a few error messages that I had never gotten before in Windows Media Player 10.  I followed the steps described in the Sansa support FAQ section.  Tried emailing sansa. Today they tell me to roll back Windows Media Player 11 for Windows Media Player 10 (which I already use).

  The solution? Admitting defeat.  A renounced envy the rest of devices non-Sansa to my family.

  Bought another brand. (Rhymes with COD).  It works well. I would like to the screen were as large as the view and the wheel is not quite as easy to use the view, but those which are minor compromise in my opinion, uh, I mean advice.  Rewind crisp and precise.  Fastforwards, well, quickly (a minute of the key gets me 35 minutes instead of 8 minutes with the view forward, and there is a way to achieve even faster than that).

  Whenever I connect my iPod classic to iTunes (Windows 10) is not recognized. iTunes then freezes after awhile of trying, it is recognized by iTunes. You can see everything on the iPod, but you cannot synchronize. Then I have to restore the iPod, but you can not recharge music etc. as the sync box has been ticked in the recent update. Then you can charge all your music which takes about 8 hours. WHY! Is this because Apple won't use their classic iPod more or what.

• Sansa Clip not recognized by computer - new problem

  All of a sudden my Sansa Clip is not recognized by my computer. I use MSC forced for a year and have seen the page referred by others with this problem. Nothing seems to work. Download the new firmware will it correct even if the device is not recognized? How the new firmware can be installed on the device?

  Your firmware has USB mode in the settings? If so, switch to MSC there... problem solved!

  Hi, Halima, tried the two 1 + 2 method. No joy.  To answer your questions:

  • When was the last time that the external drive is recognized by the computer?  Not recognized for the first time.
  • Did you the latest changes on the computer? No.
  • What happens when you connect the external hard drive to the computer?  "Unrecognized USB device. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it. "
  • You are able to access the other USB devices on the computer? Yes, OK on USB PC camera and three other player flash of 4 & 8 GB.

  Hi Halima, problem solved. Got a confirmation of my small voice try a USB port at the back of the PC, from the front two, it didn't work.  And, Viola! Nice day. Namaste.
