Hi LauraCzarnecki,

1. when exactly you get this message?

2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

IType.exe is a process belonging to the Microsoft Intellitype keyboard software. This can probably occur due to corruption in the registry for the key intellitype.

If you have any IntelliPoint or IntelliType software on the system installation, then try uninstalling and reinstalling.

  • IType.exe no disc message at startup

After the start under Vista sp2, I have a warning block that has itype.exe No. disc as the title.  It says disk, enter harddiskx where x is a number, usually 2, sometimes 3 or more.  He proposed to cancel, try again or continue. IntelliType always seems to work although I don't use it that often.

It is a new problem that began shortly after the installation of SP2.  I tried to do a restore, but he leaves with unidentified error message. I have uninstalled/reinstalled 7.1 Intellitype.  If I take out of the routine of starting intellitype I do not get the message.

    ... Any help please thanks

    Hello imsnowman72,

It seems that some of the IntelliType fails to load components at startup.

You must also uninstall the Intellitype software on your computer and restart the computer, when you uninstall software the computer restart and check if you have the same problem.

Then you can go on installing the software afterwards.

I suggest that you remove the Intellitype software, using the Windows Cleanup utility. Here is a link you can follow the installation of the Windows Cleanup utility.

You can download Windows Install CleanUp Utility starting from Microsoft Download Center:

    http://download.Microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

    Or

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301

Here's what you should do with the Windows Cleanup utility.

Once you download and install the cleanup utility. You can go to start, all programs.

Open the utility cleaning and it lists all the programs installed on your computer. Search the Adobe reader on the computer and then install it.

You can follow the link below to download the Intellitype software for the version of your Windows following the link below:

Original title: regsvr.exe - disc no.

    Hello

I get an error message whenever I insert my pen drive or memory card in my laptop. The error message is "regsvr.exe - no disk there is no disk in the drive." Insert a disk in the drive\Device\Harddisk1\DR1. There are only three options - Cancel, Try Again and continue. None of them works. I have to manually stop the system to get rid of it. Please help me get rid of this error message for always. Your response to this regard will be highly appreciated. Cordially Sashwat

    Hello, Sashwat

If possible, test the drive in another computer and check if you are able to access or not. If this is not the case, the drive may be bad.

If it's a USB card with an SD card reader, rather than a dedicated, flash drive check if the card is recognized and accessible in other drives/devices. Also, check the metal contacts on the card to make sure that nothing is blocking the metal contacts. If the card cannot be read in other devices and contacts are clean, the card is likely bad.
If other devices can access the drive, but not by the card reader, the card reader could be bad.

    Hi all

An error message appears every time I start my laptop Alienware of window 7, the message reads: "wscript.exe - no disk" there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into \Device\harddisk1\DR1.

I'm a bit confused with this error message, I don't know if there are viruses in my computer, or the reason why this error message whenever I start my computer,

  • Generation of the command prompt gives HH.exe - no disk error?

    Windows 7 64 bit

    HR 9.02.271

Ok. I'm trying the generation of the command prompt for HtmlHelp output for the first time.

I followed the HR documentation to the best of my ability and came up with the following text:

    RhCl "d:\hg\pcdmisqa\pcdlrn\help\vision\PC-DMIS Vision.xpj"-l "Vision common CHM' o D:\DocProjects\Outputs\common_chm\

The first parameter is launching the project, the second defines the layout of the generation and the third exit.

It generates a help file. But I have these questions / issues:

    (1) is there a generated log file to determine if there is problems in compiling? If Yes, where?

    (2) is there a way to specify the name of the chm output? He seems to be basing the name on the xpj file name instead of to the name defined in the schema. I want the name of the file to be 'pcdmisvision.chm '. It gives me 'PC - DMIS Vision.chm'. It is not a big problem because I can use other commands to prompt to rename. But still... would be nice.

    (3) when I run generated help I get this strange hh.exe - No. Disk error:

    3-1-2012 7-32-48 PM.png

By clicking on the buttons of the watch to the message above again. But after clicking three times, it finally launches the help:

    3-1-2012 7-33-02 PM.png

But he launched with this default topic... maybe because it's the first alphabetically? It certainly won't be the default theme specified in the layout. In addition, the tabs Index and content are missing. I have the hhc file and perfect defined in the project and specified in the provision. Use the Favorites and search tabs. The glossary tab contains all the entries (though it should).

If I generate the same exact provision within HR everything is built as planned and desired: TOC, start page, no hh.exe errors...

Does anyone else know similar problems? This feature seems very buggy for me.

How can I fix these problems?

    Thanks in advance!

I wanted to note that I corrected this problem a couple of weeks. It turns out my xpj file had problems. I had several references merged CHMS, but which had ceased to exist in the element.

Once I deleted these references using a text editor and saved the fixed xpj and recompiled, I got is more the above error.

  • Error on startup: "itype.exe" no disc, disc conclude with harddisk5.

    What is itype.exe
on startup, I get a window indicating itype, exe no disc, disc conclude from harddisk5.
I tried repiaring the system with the disk to instal unsuccessfully to advice please?

I completely uninstall Intellitype and restart. I would then Setup using the file downloaded from the Web site instead of using the CD because it really sounds like the Setup routine has not finished properly, and it is always looking for the CD. Maybe if the CD is old there no Vista drivers. The only hits I get from Googling "Intellitype conclude disk harddisk5" are associated with malicious software. The error started right after the installation of the Intellitype software for the first time? If this isn't the case, then analytical anti-malware couldn't hurt.

  • IType.exe and ipoint.exe resource hogging MSE

    Hello

I tried to clean my system so that I can have the best time to start. I have disabled all non-essential services programs.

However, there is always a program that accesses the disk continuously after startup: Microsoft Security Essentials.

Running Windows Resource Monitor just after a startup/logon, I can see msmpeng.exe access all kinds of files (exe) * not * running. Dig deep to help Process Monitor from Sysinternals, I caught the culprit: itypes.exe (and ipoint.exe).

These two programs are for customization of Microsoft keyboards and mouse (I have and you are using). The problem is that Intellytype has a per-app configuration that is loaded after logon. And for each program it tries to access it, it first scans MSE. Since I have a lot of programs in my machine (:)) it slows down after starting, loading by app.

Anyone caught a similar situation with MSE (and itype or something else)? I know no work around?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Non-system processes are created from the software you have installed on your system. As most applications store data in your system registry, it is likely that your registry database suffered from fragmentation and accumulated invalid entries that may affect the performance of your PC.

One sure way to stop these errors/problems is to uninstall the application. Check the status of the issue and let us know.

    Think like a malicious software...
It infects your system and is not to be found and removed.
What are you most likely to use to find and remove malware?
Internet, Google, Task Manager, regedit, restore the system command prompt, etc...
The malware is often afflicts one or more of these components to try to trick into thinking you need to perform a system restore, a repair facility, or even to reinstall your XP from scratch.  None of these things are necessary since you can usually just to thwart malware.
If the referenced files are completely absent from your system, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:
Taskmgr.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because VDMDBG.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Rstrui.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken.
If the referenced files are present on the system, but somehow corrupted, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:
    Taskmgr.exe - bad Image
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\VDMDBG.dll is not a valid Windows image.  Please check this against your installation diskette.
    Rstrui.exe - bad Image
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\framedyn.dll is not a valid Windows image.  Please check this against your installation diskette.
Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken.
These files are part of the file 3498 who cares about Windows File Protection, so unless the WFP is also broken it is likely that files are missing completely (you get a different error message).  What is more likely is that the files are somehow corrupt or have been replaced by incorrect files.
Assuming that XP is installed on your C drive and in the windows folder, XP keeps copies of 3498 files that he cares about this issue:
    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
On a health care system, Windows File Protection keeps track of 3498 protected files and quickly and quietly replaces all the files in the list that appears missing from the backup folder.  File protection Windows will not replace the files if they are somehow corrupted or replaced by bad files.
You can simply copy the backup files in the dllcache folder in the folder where are the suspects or missing files.
Using Explorer, navigate to the folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache and individually to copy the backup files in there and then navigate the folders where the suspect or incorrect files are and paste in the copied files.
Depending on your installation, you can also find copies of the files in this folder:
    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Answer Yes, if you are prompted to replace existing files.
Test your functions now and then to reboot your system to make sure the changes 'stick', and then fix any problems.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

  • Exe files disabled in the registry

AV. EXE took my Malwarebytes, refusing to run in any capacity. In an attempt to remedy this, I adjusted some registry settings where "av.exe" was mentioned. Specifically, I left the empty parameters. Now, none of my exe files will not work. How can I fix?

    Hello

See the following message to solve the problem of .exe if necessary once you are sure that the system is clean.

Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    1.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

C:\Program Malwarebytes Anti - Malware\mbam.exe or where it is installed - if
necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    2.
Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

Then use AutoRuns to delete the malicious program startup items.

Now use UnLocker to delete the files in the malware.

You may need to do a file at a time.
