Java updates

I have a HP Windows Vista and the latest update of Java that I had on 12, 2012. It was for Java 6 Update 33. A series of automatic update but I went and did a manual update and it would give me no more updates for Java 6. He said that a new version of Java 7 is available. I read on another site that Java 7 had problems and the advice of the author were to keep Java 6 for now. Is there anyway that I can get the latest updates (34 and 35) for Java? I want the Java 7 but only after all problems are solved.

V6u35 Java can be downloaded manually from Java.com, HERE. There is no need to search and install 'update 34' that all updates are cumulative.

  • Java Update blocked by Spybot

I'm trying to update Java. I'm coming to a Java update screen, click here to download and then I am blocked by Spybot.

For now, ignore the plugin check site. Oracle released Java 8, but it is not recommended for general users (just developers) so the suggestion to update is premature. I hope the site will get restored. Meanwhile, Java should check updates on a weekly basis or when you shut down and restart Windows.

That still doesn't explain why Spybot opposes...

  • When I check my add on to this day because it says my Java update of needs I download it it says java now works, but when I check again he says now vulnerable update

I click on my plug-in update, he said: I need to update java I update java, but when I go back to plugin it still says that I have to update. I've updated several times and get the same result, what I am doing wrong? I know that I have the right version. I am running Windows 8.1 64bits.

Unfortunately, the auditor plugin will always recommend the latest version available even when Oracle recommends that regular users (non-developer) stick with Java SE 7 for now. For now, you will have to rely on the Java Update (it is constantly running in the background unless you've disabled it) until Oracle is easy put Java SE 8 on java.com , and then everything will line up again.

  • Can you tell me if I have a 64-bit Java update operating system do I download

Please can someone advise me on how Java Update, I download a Windows 7 64-bit operating system. My Firefox tells me that I need urgently update my Java but when I click on update all that is that there is a page of confusing information about 32-bit and 64-bit systems thanks to. He asks what version I'm using 64-bit or 32-bit Firefox. I didn't know that there were two, I thought speaking of 64-bit and 32-bit, this meant the operating system of my computer. Can anyone clear this up for me. Thank you.

Hello, you must install the version of the java plugin which corresponds to your Web browser. Firefox is available only in 32-bit version for now (it will run on windows 7 64 bit in any case) - so for java to work in firefox, you will also need to install the 32-bit plugin: http://java.com/download/windows_xpi.jsp

  • After the Java Update, Pinterest button does not work

Pinterest worked very well. I was invited to do a Java Update I did. Pinterest Pin button it stop working. I deleted the old versions of Java and I checked to make sure that the newly revised version has been activated. I deleted and reinstalled the Pinterest button.
When I click on it nothing happens, but the text box that appears under the button out with javascript stars; void ((function
and then continues with a lot of code, but I can't copy and paste the entire text box as it disappears quickly.

Here is a page where I can't use Pinterest button for example http://www.horsekeeping.com/jewelry/p.../NP407-feather-turq-begay.htm

I get the same error on this page. It seems that Pinterest expects to have at least a script page, and the page does not. This should be fixed by Pinterest. In the meantime, you can inject an empty script element in the page by using the Web Console:

    • Select and copy the following line of code (that's a whole line) to the Clipboard
    var s=document.createElement("script");s.setAttribute("type","text/javascript");document.body.appendChild(s);

    • On the problem page, if you have already tried the Pin button, reload the page
    • Press Ctrl + Shift + k to open the Web Console
    • Paste the script code into the Web Console next to the circumflex accent (>) and press ENTER to run it
    • You can close the Web Console now and try the Pin button it

  • everyone put updated for Java update 8 73

Someone has updated updated Java 8 73. It wants to install a "helper" on the computer and I'm not comfortable with that.  I still have a pop-up that gets in the way of a Java update earlier that I can't get rid of so I just not sure if the "helper" is going to be useful.

Updates to Yosemite come from the app store. What kind of a pop up to you? You can check in the preferences of safari block pop ups.

Why the 66 java update will not install on my iMac with el capitan?

I recommend that you work with Oracle to see if they are aware of any problems with El Capitan, Java is their product and they would know better. But I was able to find this, it might help you:

OP: Action Center... PC problem: 1 important message

After the failure of the attempt to install the JAVA update, I received this message from Action Center... Windows cannot check the updates. So I was taken to the dialog box and retried to check the updates of windows fails again with the code D0000034. Also did a system restore to the place before the installation of JAVA update attempt, but was no help. Can you help me?

    Hello Irfan,

Thanks again for your response. Since your last I discovered through my system status (Control Panel), I wrote that my product ID and the Windows 7 activation status not available. So I followed instuctions to help and microsoft support to activate.  Yet once, I got the error code D0000034 as before with the problem of update. However, I was given the opportunity to phone, but received no phone #. I bought the DVD of Windows 7 and installed on the PC that was custom built for me.  On the site Web microsoft help and support, I was asked for the product ID, which according to them is a # 20 numbers.  Not the only one, I have is the product key which is one 25-alpha-numeric.  I tried to enter only and does not pass.  This is why I say that I can pay for help since I did not ' have the product ID.  Maybe it isn't your area of expertise, Irfan, but I was hoping... I re - install windows on last April when I got in trouble and probably did not re - activate? What do you think?  If you can get back on track, I would be very grateful and thank you once again to be a big help!

    wandrinstar

Please ignore above request. I have since re-activated Windows and the problem was solved with technical assistance telephone and thank you again for your help, Irfan. Also thanks to all the people answering the phone at microsoft. The experience I had was really a pleasure. I wasn't expecting such an attitude courteous and professional.

    Keep up the good work,

  • Problem with Java Update and...

Vista HP model a6334f IE8 - need to update Java 1.6.0_01 _16 - unsuccessful for the past three days. What is the error code 1606? (could not access network location % APPDATA%\). It is the usual response. Once I got an "Error 1606 - error codes InstallShield - indicate an action failed during the process of instaltion.» Java.com no help. I downloaded the installer on the desktop then run it-"unpacking the downloaded files failed." First thing the next day and got the same answers failure + "unable to launch the Java Update Setup." I had tried installing offline with the same results. I went through my firewall security system Windows and advocate to ensure that they were not interfere because I noticed the logo of security on the icons to the trash. I don't know if there is nothing to do but I can't update my HP Web Printing either. I have messed up something along the way, thinking I knew what I was doing. I have been at this nearly two years and am usually able to understand things using various places - stop now I guess I better stop before I really mess up things.

I have a stack of printed documents on the possible solutions to my problem of different sites. As I was going through them last night, I realized that no two of the answers don't match and I was in a spiral and most likely make things worse. I love my Vista and felt quite relieved when going through these discussions tha I had all of these problems - and then I started having them. This is ridiculous, I thought. So, I provided all the printed documents and dropped in a box (just in case) - and has a system restored 6 weeks ago. When this finshed I checked to make sure I still had internet access then close and went to bed. This morning, I started to go through the system to see what I had - to see if my Java was back. Well, not only is it back - it is updated to 1.6.0_15.

  • Java update problem

update of Java while trying to install a java update the followin message problem, cannot start the installer from the java (TM) update the requested operation requires a rise.

    Hi all

You can see this information on Java user account control.
    http://www.Java.com/en/download/FAQ/UAC.XML

But to answer some questions, even if logged in with an administrator account, Windows Vista and Windows 7 require a high privilege to install some things. It is the function of (UAC) user account control. Usually you would right click on the .exe for example setup.exe or Setup.msi file. If you're in a command prompt, then right click on cmd.exe and select "Run as administrator.".

You can temporarily disable UAC and install Java. Re-enable UAC, then see if it helps to get installed it.

    Thank you
