• How to add new images of icons for the different icons

  Hi all

  I want to change some pictures of my desktop icons icon. To do this, I'm right click on the icon on the desktop > properties > change icon. So I want to add some images of icons (which are in fact not available here), then use option eyebrows more..., but when I point the folder where I kept the newly downloaded icons (just the .png images), he did not recognize anything.

  So please tell me how I can add other images to icon? Or any available folder where I can copy/paste the new images?

• How to get the file png in resource file

  I have simple bitmaps I want to display in my program.  I'm using Eclipse and and the 4.6.0 version.

  I believe that the graphics.drawImage () to be quite frank, but I've never used before Java resources and do not understand the necessary step to get a bitmap (png or bmp on my PC file) in resource file so that I can pack with my program and use it.

  I tried to get the decoumentation and this forum, but probably used looking bad terms since I've not found anything. Can someone point me in the right direction?

  I have fixed my problems, I was using a unicode language in windows, so I changed the language for non-unicode format.

• How to change the icon of the Application on Blackberry JDE 6

  Hi, do someone know how to change the icon of the application of the project, we have created in the JDE? I searched the forum, and suggestions should go to the project properties, go to the "resources" tab and add the icon file. I have also included the file icon (PNG 68x68pixel) to the project.

  Here's how to put the icon in BlackBerry JDE.

  1. Add the image to your project.
  2. Right-click on the image and choose Properties.
  3. Check "use as icon for the Application.
  4. Rebuild the application.

  Although I tried to add the res folder to the path of the front structure, it seems that he was in the wrong place. Or, at least, that's what it seems, because everything I did to make it work was to create a new "res" folder from a level to the high (just below the project and at the same level as the 'src' folder) and move my picture files in this folder. I added this file to the project build path, then my reference to "/ res / image.png" worked!

  I try to load an image .png (or .jpg) in my java application with a call to the javax.microedition.lcdui.Image.createImage method. I use Eclipse v3.4.1, with the plugin v1.0.0.50 BlackBerryJDE BlackBerry component package v4.5.0 and running on a BlackBerry Pearl 8130 with o/s 4.5.0.77. createImage returns a null value, which I suspect means that I do not have the .png file in the correct source path. So what I'm missing to get the correctly loaded image?

  Right-click on your project in ecllipse and goto java build path in it add you resource path.

  1 duplicate the video clip of skateboarding in your tieline on a video on track (Alt + drag) [just to keep a copy of it below, if you might need it]

  2. right-click the new clip in the timeline panel and choose "replace with After Effects Composition.

  After effects opens (if not already open) and you get a new composition based on your first - chronology.
  Import your artwork, make sure that it is big enough so you can turn without seeing its edges...
  -Drag in the composition above the clip.

  3 right-click in the left part of your composition window, and then choose "new solid" to do a matte.

  4 turn off the visibility of the layer ("eye-icon")

  4B. take the tool pen (P) and draw a mask around skateboarding. (= add mask mode)

  5. set the work track matte layers to ' Alpha 'name of your matte.

  Should work just fine - nothing fancy necessary.

  I think that you get only the types of icons limited using these methods, this is why we moved to the use of PNG for icons and there is a sample (in the Mac SDK, I think) for how to do this.

• Export Release Build: error 303 - defining the right path to the PNG file

  I have a 32 x 32 pixels pixels and icon in the code XML Application descriptor file, I tried all possible ways for the icon.png and I get an error message 303. My application deploys fine if I leave aside the icon... just seems to be a path issue but can not understand why... I put the file in the libs folder and tried png just in the src folder, but no luck... I saw other posts talked about checking the 'no embedded files to output folder copy' and I have this checked...   After trying for centuries created a flex project and copied all the code as a whole in the new project. But did not use the old app - xml file used for the new flex project and the icons have worked.

  When my wife ties open OE6 since its icon on the desktop, a box shows always ask him to "open with + list of files" with a Ref file msimn.exe that has arisen recently.   When pops up an error I suggest you manually navigate to the following location, and then select the file that is missing: C:\program files\outlook express\msimn.exe

   
  In doing the above that should open Outlook Express.
