jdev 12.2.1 golink does not

upgrade of jdev 12.2.1 11.1.2.3 and GB code: link does not work.

Is there a common way, that we can have a common code to work in both environments?

Similar to ' / ' character is double exhaust (it should be % 2F)

Is referenced url behind a http proxy? If this is the case, then check rules rewrite.

If this is not the case, try to replace all the ' / ' by '% 2F' and see if that will help.

    Any idea on what could be the problem?

    The question seems to be to the JDBC data source that we define in the configuration Module of the Application screen. We have a JNDI to data source, and somehow at design time, the your do not work with it. Currently, I change that to a local data source, the tester of VO, requeteur all work fine.

  • immediate = "true" does not work in 12.1,3-jdev

    Hello.

    I'm on Jdev 12.1.3 running on Linux 64 bit box.

    For some reason any ignore validation (immediate = true) does not work.

    I created the VO and droped to the page.

    Droped as createInsert button.

    When I click on it immediately that I required attributed error to the columns in my table.

    If I put autoSubmit false, I get this error. But I need to submit the part request, because another of the elements of the page are dependent on this button.

    Bug? Suggestions?

    It will work if you set changeEventPolicy = 'none' on your iterator?

  • Updated extensions Webcenter and JDev does not start the server... Help, please

    Hi all

    I installed the JDeveloper 11.1.1.6 version on my laptop with windows 7 64-bit OS. It worked very well with applications I've built on ADF. However, when I updated the Webcenter extensions with help-> check the JDeveloper IDE updates, and once the update is finished, I rebooted the JDev. But after restarting of JDev, ADF applications no longer work. Infact, the server does not even start. It gives me the following error:

    Could someone help me please in this regard. I am stuck and had to reinstall JDev, not being able to solve this problem.

    Sincerely,

    Mahesh.

    Mahesh,

    JDeveloper almost always has problems when the installation folder path contains spaces. For example, your way "C:\Oracle\Middleware v11.1.1.6\".

    I suggest that you reinstall JDeveloper in a path without spaces. You may be able to get away with just rename the folder "Middleware_v11.1.1.6".

  • DVT:exportPivotTableData does not work in JDev 12.1.2

    Hi all

    I tried to get the export from a PivotTable data to work using the dvt:exportPivotTableData tag. This isn't. in my application I get a 404 in a Google Chrome browser and an error dialog box in IE10 when I press the button in the following source code snippet:

    [code]

    < af:button text = "Export Pivot" id = "b1" >

    < dvt:exportPivotTableData filename = "FeatureScores.xls" type = "excelHTML"

    title = "Function Support Scores" exportedId = "pt2" / >

    < / af:button >

    < dvt:pivotTable id = "pt2" value = "#{bindings." ProductFeatureScoreROView1.pivotTableModel}.

    var = 'cellData"varStatus ="cellStatus"splitMode ="enabled ".

    sizing Summary = "#{viewcontrollerBundle.VENDOR_FEATURE_SCORES}" = "auto" "

    statusBarRendered = "true" styleClass = "AFStretchWidth" >

    ...

    < / dvt:pivotTable >

    [/ code]

    I downloaded the component rich ADF WAR (Version 12.1.1, or whatever the latest version is) and installed in the JDev IDE to test the example in the sample. However, the dvt:exportPivotTableData does not work in the demo of the sample either. I don't get an error message on the sample, the page just refreshes and no data is exported.

    Any ideas?

    Best regards

    Nigel

    Change the attribute to false partialSubmit button and it should work fine

  • Jdev ADF 11G: selection of multiple rows in a table does not work

    Hello

    I'm having a problem to select several lines in a table ADF using Jdev 11 G.

    A table of the ADF fell on the JSP and "Line Selection" is checked, when asked. In properties, change "RowSelection" "multiple". When running, the table upwards without that user can check for lines that they want to select the first column. A row can be selected by clicking anywhere on this line. Even with the 'Control' key is pressed, it does not allow the user to select multiple lines.

    Y at - it something wrong this function or have I missed something? Help, please.

    Thank you very much

    Annie

    Try this. delete this table. Drag 'n drop it again. Just change rowSelection "multiple" to "single". Run the page and see. in this way, you know what was wrong if it works?

  • JDev 11 g does not get DB connection

    I'm so ashamed...

    I've narrowed it down to this:

    I have my imports

    import java.sql.Connection;
    to import java.sql.DriverManager;
    import java.sql.SQLException;

    my little piece of code

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) {}

    String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:xelocal";

    try {}

    Conn = DriverManager.getConnection (url, "username", "password");

    } catch (SQLException e) {}
    System.out.println (try ());
    }

    }

    I get an exception

    No driver found for jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:xelocal

    I went default project properties and made sure the Oracle JDBC driver was in the library list.

    I have the connection defined in the JDev (xelocal) resources.

    What I am doing wrong?

    pointing me to a URL that describes the solution, that's OK, too.

    Thank you...

    I need, but it turns out I added the Oracle JDBC lib in tools > project properties by default that does not propagate the changes in the active project.

    Thank you...

  • ADF Mobile Jdev required 11.1.2.4.0 = true inputtext does not

    Hello!

    I have an amx in connection with the user page, pass inputtext and a commandButton control having logic in the listener of the action, it returns if 000 is correct

    then the action sends this string so the taskflow may redirect to the home page.

    the two inputtext fields have required = true and showrequired = true assigned properties

    but when the user presses the button it does not draw the necessary attribute = true, any ideas?

    Thank you

    Try something like this

    See the validationGroup around the input text.

  • ADF table selected displayRow does not display the selected line

    Hello

    JDev 11.1.2.4

    I have a table with selection enabled and displayRow property the value selected. In the workflow, I have an ExecuteWithParams activity, and then a method activity that restores the current iterator of the line. Finally the activity view that displays the table.

    Restore the current line with key

    Iterator DCIteratorBinding = ADFUtils.findIterator ("MyIterator");

    iterator.setCurrentRowWithKey (currentKey); currentKey is a string

    The question I have is that the current line is properly restored, but the table does not display the page of "range" of the current line while the displayRow is the selected value. My table has 500 rows, the table displays the top 25 while the current line is the 500th line. I expect the table to display the line 475 to 500 line.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you

    You can save the index lines before executing your method and then set the iterator to this index.

    The technique is described in this blog https://tompeez.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/naviagting-an-aftable-in-pagination-mode-from-a-bean/

  • Data does not get dirty

    Hi all

    I use Jdev 12.2.1.

    I've created a popup to legend when any other workflow is selected in the menu. And this popup prompts only when changes have been made in the page. This popup is for backup and restoreactions. When the user clicks YES, the data will be saved and when clicked on ANY Restore action doesn't get made.

    All these features are perfect work.

    The problem I am facing is that when I simply enter some data in any of the components such as the table and the form, the data don't get dirty until and unless I click on one of the buttons on my page.

    An action must be made for the data to get dirty as clicking on any one of the button.

    If simply data are entered and an another taskflow is selected, then data will not get dirty which causes the popup to does not display.

    Gives auto submit to help components, but giving auto will present to each field is not possible and is not a good approach.

    I'm using the code that allows to completely when data is dirty, below

    if (JSFUtils.pendingChangesExists () == true)

    {

    _logger.info ("call popup");

    JSFUtils.showPopUp (getSaveChangesPopup ());

    }

    I know setTransactionModified() method will help. Using this method will call the popup every time. But I want only this popup when a change is made.

    Is it possible for the data entered to get dirty without clicking on any button. ???

    Please help me.

    Thank you.

    ANU

    Hello

    Finally found the solution. Data was not dirty because I used a subform to surround the main provision used in my page. Remove or by setting the property to "default" true will solve the problem.

    Thank you guys.

  • Page does not, while configuring the ADF security

    Hello world

    I use Jdeveloper 12 c, and my problem is stated as:

    I developed an application in jdeveloper 11g, then I migrated it to 12 c. He was executed successfully on my own laptop. Can I send it to my client, when the client tried to run on integrated WLS, the Index.jsf (first page to run) is stuck. When he removed the ADF security configuration it run correctly. But once again, once set up, he gave the same problem means Index.jsf gets stuck and tries to reload and reload and reload, but nothing happens.

    In any case, my paper is here:

    Best regards,

    Mudi

    What kind of security is implemented in the server that falls out?

    There are a lot of

    <[Security:090739]The sql="" statement="" for="" sqladdmembertogroup="" does="" not="" appear="" to="" be="" correct="">

    way of errors before starting the application to deploy.

    So, I see spaces in the path to the installed jdev. This can cause all sorts of trouble.

    Timo

  • failover - does not change clerks

    Hello

    I ve read some docs on cookies, sessions, passivation, etc. and came across the following piece:

    To check, try the following: create the simple application of ADF business components and the web client to it. Define the HttpSession timeout to 1 minute and make sure that the switch is turned on, run your client application, create a new line, or change a value but do not commit (or rollback). Now wait for more then a minute to let the HttpSession timeout. Note that if in your ViewController project you add a property to the Java virtual machine on the Panel "Runner" like -Djbo.debugoutput=console you will actually see when your HttpSession time in the debug trace information. Now, try to continue working. You will see that your State has been preserved as if the HttpSession never expired. You will be able to see all your changes that have not been made yet and you will still be able to commit as well. Now try the same scenario, but now, with tipping off. You will see that after the time-out period, your wait state is lost. You will then have to start from the point where you last committed your changes.

    to understand the State of ADF Business components management feature.

    What I understand here is possible when a user session expires and changes that have not committed will be always 'available' for the user to commit when you connect again, I am rigth?

    If Yes, I followed the instructions and it didn t happened as indicated.

    If not, is it possible to do this? Accordingly to each validated user to present its not commit changes?

    Jdev 12 c

    Kind regards

    Carlos

    The doc you speak is very old. This does not mean that it bad, but the chance is there changes that cancels the content.

    Another thing to understand is that disconnection does not record the users session but frees the resources. Failover works (if it works at all the check page in ADF 12.1.3 jsf does not correctly after the session), if a session expires and the module of the application has not been recycled and the user remains on the same browser.

    What you try to do means you want to save the log of current transactions again (which can be done from another browser or pc) and work with the trade recorded again. I don't think it will work.

  • Button to navigate to another page does not not work properly all the time.

    Hello

    I'm just starting to explore the ADF, I use Jdeveloper 12.1.3.0.0 and integrated weblogic server that comes with the IDE.

    I just created a simple application with a welcome page called Main.jsf and then 2 task bounded, streams called SearchStudentsFlow and Studenloansflow, each workflow has a jsf page. The home page has a single button that sends me to the first task flow, SearchStudentsFlow and I can see is the page in that workflow, AwardsSearch.jsf. Also in the AwardsSearch.jsf page I have a button that takes back me to the home page.

    The first problem I have is that when I run the application starting at the home page button in the works of the great homepage the first time, the button send me to the AwardsSearch.jsf , but once I decide to go back to the homepage and then click on the button to go to the first task flow the button does nothing. This happens whenever I decide to return to the home page of any page in my project.

    Also, I copied the entire previous project into a new project and I decided to use the ADF security infrastructure in this new project to create a log in page create users and give them different roles and levels of access.

    I created some users who have access to all pages and all the streams, but when I run the application starts the login page and I login successfully and go to the home page, the button on the home page does not work.

    I don't know why the button sometimes works, but not of others and also I do not know why when I use the login page, the button doesn't work. I don't know if these 2 problems are related or not.

    This is my code in the homepage:

    No idea why the button does not work correctly all the time?

    Thanks in advance

    Play well!

    Now, we understand the problem and can help you solve it.

    The problem is that you dropped the home page in the flow of student loan and place you thinking that you must return to the point of departure, the unlimited workflow. Actually, you don't the sheet flow loan student but simply see the homepage as part of the loan flow. The navigation rules remain those defined in the flow of student loan. Now, when you click on a button to jump to the stream of research, the target is undefined zed you simply stay on the same page, the home page.

    To make your work use case, you set a return action in the flow of student loan that return to the caller, the flow of research which, in turn, will return to his name the workflow without terminals that hold the homepage. Remove the homepage of flow of charge to students. The case of navigation allows to navigate between the button and the new return action.

    In the adf of flow research a wild-card rule that accesses the return operation sends the return flow to the home page. You must remove the sailing time pointing to research prices for the return operation because it can use the same rule of navigation of wild-card then. Then, you add a Bach student load flow navigation rule to the scholarship search page. This navigation is used for the return actionto_searchStudents.

  • Ask why partial trigger does not?

    Hi Expert,

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.6

    When I run the partial relaxation in the Module of the Application, it works but when I run in weblogic server, the partial value field trigger his does not work. in fact I use the button run as a work-around to deal with.
