• Sculpt Microsoft comfort keyboard no longer works correctly

  Several times a day my keyboard no longer meets all the keystrokes or sometimes double on strikes. I can type a sentence and find only the occasional shows on the screen or more characters I typed (e.g. "character" indicates "cacter" or "ccchaaraccterr"). At first, I thought it was the batteries in the keyboard, but have lost a few sets of batteries, I found that out the receiver to the USB port and plug it into another port works for maybe an hour or two, and then it happens again.  Putting the receiver into the original USB port solved the problem again. Removal of the receiver and put it back in the same port do not solve the problem.  Any ideas gratefully received.

  Called Lenovo tech support. The guy said he does support for years, and that almost always, the problem is solved when you turn the laptop, I did.   I have a cl dv7-1273.  Just changed from Vista Home Premium 64 for Windows 7 64.   Win 7 installed OK.  After you install the pad at the top of the keyboard no longer works in the dialogs like this.  When I entered the numbers here I had to use the keypad.  Keys still work in Word, Excel, Evernote, etc..

  Someone on the forum had the same problem of pad during the upgrade to win 8.  They solved the problem by uninstalling Comcast constant guard.   I removed a constant guard and now my keypad work.  Is there something in constant guard that is in conflict with the keys from HP laptop during upgrade to Win 7 or 8 Win.

• Mark this shortened Page keyboard no longer works

  For some reason, mark it this Page (control-D on Mac) no longer works. I hit him, and nothing happens. I know that the command-D in the Finder window works, because it is a duplicate of the file on that I hit command-D. But it is no more bookmarking pages. What is the problem. It worked the last time I made a bookmark (a week ago). No new added modules, nothing since then different makes. Just stopped working.   Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

  Upgraded from vista ultimate to windows 7 problems with my eject button and other buttons on my laptop. They no longer work. Storage of mass and those problems?

  Please help me to get my laptop working again as I am not able to use my recovery disks that the laptop does not recognize the disc 2 so I'm stuck with Windows 7. The buttons on the phone IE, eject, s1, s2 and volume do not work and I have a mass storage controller problem it says no driver?. I tried and tried to find one, but I can't. I asked Sony for the replacement of the recovery disks and they want forty quid and I argued its their fault the disks didn't copy correctly in the first place so they should give them for free, but they do not really give a xxxx.  I'm not very high on the ins and outs of computers so if you are kind enough to help me please keep in terms simple lol. • DV7-3079WM buttons above multimedia keyboard no longer works

  I recently had my laptop checked by warranty Logistics.  When I came back, the multimedia and wireless above the keyboard keys no longer work.  Given that the equipment still works, I suppose that they disabled some software HP custom some how.  I searched, but could not find the software.

  I have Photoshop on Mac OS 10.9.2 CC.

  For some reason I can't understand, shift-Option-command-S is no longer opens "Save for web" dialog box  There is no nothing.

  I can open the dialog box in the menu itself, no problem; It's just the shortcut that failed.

  The shortcut is always visible on the menu as the appropriate command, but it does not work.

  Yes, happens to me too. Try the shift + ctrl + alt + K > Enter. That shortcut still works, oddly enough.
