JournE Air 801 not finding Wireless Networks

My 801 Air could see my wireless network when I first turned on. I had trouble getting security WPA2 to work so I reset the default 801 by using the reset on the device.

Now I am unable to find wireless networks.

Any ideas how I can get my 801 on wireless networks?

Thanks for your help/advice.

Hello

Are you sure that the Wifi is enabled in the settings of Air 801?
Usually the WiFi icon should be visible in the upper left corner, if the WiFi network has been activated.

I downloaded the manual for Air 801 (European Toshiba page-> support) and download-> user manual. On page 42, you will find all the details on the networks.

You can use the Wifi protected Setup. It is the best way to connect to the network.
-Select Wifi protected setup and press OK
-Press the wps button on your router wlan and press ok to continue
-Press exit to return to the previous page.

Then use the Wifi Wizard to detect and connect to the WLan router in your region.
-wifi select Assistant
-Press on top and down to select your preferred router
-Press OK to confirm your selection
-Enter the password router e

You can also use the advanced configuration
To do this, check the user manual!

    Hi Cannonballgum,

    1. is the wireless card detected by Windows?

First check if the wireless card is detected by windows.

    1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

If you see the card wireless available in the Device Manager, then visit the card manufacturer site download and install the update to the latest driver control if it works.

  • My laptop can not find wireless networks

My laptop can not find wireless connections, that it works fine when I use an Ethernet cable.

It works on 64-bit windows and has a intel wifi link 1000 series

The most likely reason is that the wireless card is turned off or disabled.  Most laptops have this feature in order to save battery power if the wifi is not necessary.  Depending on your laptop, it is a physical switch or a combination of the Fn key and one of the F keys.  See your User Guide for more information.

You can also check the Device Manager (click the ORB start and type Device Manager and then press the Enter key).  Expand the "Network adapters" section by clicking on the arrow to the left and then double-click the entry for the Intel Wifi Link.  Check 'Device status' in the 'General tab '.

  • Computer laptop Windows 7 can not find wireless network connections

My Samsung RV510's laptop had windows 7 on front and without wire worked but recently my hard drive for this laptop broke and I had to get a new HARD drive. Now I have a new one that I installed windows 7 on it and now it cannot find wireless network connections even if there is a broadband router in the same room as the laptop. When I try to connect to a wireless network, the computer does not find.

You have turned on WiFi?  Have you checked Device Manager to see if your wireless network card has a driver?  The different procedure for Urning edited that WiFi on East and model, so you for each brand will have to read your user guide - I promise he won't give you the leprosy!  :-)  To check the driver, click Start and right click on computer, then click Properties.  Click on Device Manager and look for the entry that says that the network cards.  Click the arrow to the left and look to see if

There is a! or? next to him.  If so, you must download the driver appropriate from your manufacturer.

    Good luck.

  • Satellite L500-207 will not find wireless networks

My laptop cannot identify wireless networks at all and I don't know how to fix it. Everything works fine and I'm aware wireless is turned on and anti-virus scans were clean.

First of all, the problem occurred after I have reset default DNS for the DNS to google so I wonder if this is what caused the problem.

I would be very happy any assistance that could be given in the resolution of this problem.

    > My laptop cannot identify wireless networks at all and I don't know how to fix it.

Does that mean exactly? You can see your WLan or you see another WLan in the neighborhood?
If you can't see any WLan then this means that the card wireless network is not correctly enabled in this case use FN + F8 to activate the WLan.

In addition, check the settings of TCP/IP to the wireless network.
In Protocol TCP/IP properties, you can find the settings as all these parameters must be set to automatically assign the IP address.

  • Photosmart C6380 installation: do not find wireless network

I set up the printer according to the instructions, but he refuses to 'find' my wireless connection. I typed manually with the WPA, no luck. I moved the printer within a few inches of the router still no luck. It seems to be several other 'networks' that I'm not familiar with. I printed the wireless network Test report, but have no idea how use the information on it. I'm on cable, I have one router Netgear wireless... what else do you need to know to help me understand this? I tried to look for answers here, but I don't understand the terminology used in most of the questions OR answers.

I don't know how, but the number one problem is solved - this morning, the network printer is no problem, says it is connected and says that the signal strength is excellent.

I now have another problem... When you try to install the software, I get a message that says "Search is complete, any configured printer not found."  I probably need this post in a new thread?  sigh.

  • HP c309g not finding wireless networks

    Hello

I bought a HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one c309g (the one I have is the second than the first had the same problem and I sent a replacement, but now I wonder if I could possibly have two defective models in a row?)

Anyway, my router is an Orange Livebox (Inventel), running from the v5.10.7-uk. firmware I know the SSID and the key, but the problem I have is that when you run the Wireless Setup Wizard, it just sits there on "search... wireless routers "(the progress bar is moving, so I guess it's actually by train). So, my first thought before was that he could not be a problem with my router, as the printer was not picking up six other my laptop WLAN captures in my front room. However, I checked and all wireless networks I see on my laptop is networks 802.11 g, which led me to my next thought...

... is the printer using a wireless adapter 802.11n? The livebox I have is that 802. 11b / g (I think, not surprisingly Orange documentation is terrible and I can't find the information out in the admin pages - choose this place on the web, but it could just be 'b'). However, shouldn't the "n" adapter still be able to pick up the networks 'g' (part of the standard?)

Any help would be appreciated, I can't believe that I have two defective devices in a row!

    See you soon,.

    TK

I was wrong - I've got it finally works! Nothing to do with my router at all!

Basically, I connected the printer on a wired connection and traveled to the web interface. There, I found some additional configuration settings that were not available through the USB connection or on the LCD of the device interface. Specifically, in the "wireless (802.11) Interface' layout (http://printerIPindex.htm? cat = network & page = wirelessAdv), on the"Advanced"tab, there is a checkbox that allows the radio operate in mode 'b' (in an infrastructure network use 802. 11b behavior.) I enabled the wireless radio, checked this box, you click on 'Apply' and then disconnected the ethernet cable and hey-presto, a printer wireless to work! I can now browse all settings that are documented, and it is connected.

If anyone who works for HP is reading this, maybe an update of the documentation (paper and online) to discuss this feature 'Advanced' allow compatibility 'b' with a "n" radio would be very useful for millions of us who have not bought a "n" router yet

    Thanks again for the contributions.

  • Computer can not find wireless networks

    Hello

Whenever I restart my computer I have to open the part of the CPU and re services - enable Automatic Configuration Wireless for my computer to recognize networks wireless in the region. After that I then have to go to the Advanced Options in the wireless network connection properties, and then click the "use Windows to configure my wireless network. I agree with Timox: you need WLan 802.11bgn Realtek RTL8191SE Wlan card driver.
Download driver Toshiba WLan portal should functions since I managed to download the driver of the page package.

    Alternatively, you can download the driver directly from the Realtek page: [RTL8191SE-VA2 | http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level= 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & GetDown = false & downloads = EU tr]

  • How to connect a Journe Air 801 picframe to a hidden wireless network?

I want to connect my new Journe Air 801 picframe (model PA3701E-1ET2 number) to my WiFi network unencrypted with broadcast SSID disabled (network name is hidden).
    Is this feasible?

I already [read the user guide | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_manuals.jsp |] [Download manuals] up and down and I tried to use the advanced wireless configuration menu but it seems that the device does not provide a way to enter the network name (SSID) and so cannot connect to my wireless network.

I also [rechecked | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp |] Download drivers] if a firmware update is available, but there is none.

I can't believe that such a simple device is missing from the device, but if this is the case, where can I ask a updated firmware updated with the ability to connect to Wi - Fi networks that do not broadcast the SSID?

I searched on the [site Web from Toshiba | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/] but I have not found any e-mail or form to express my disappointment for the good service.

Well, in this case, you will need to make the Wlan SSID visible.
Then, you can connect to the WLan.
After that, you could hide the SSID in the WLan router settings
    Maybe this way is possible

  • HP Photosmart C309a AiO Wireless on and work, can not find the network!

My printer has stopped printing a couple of days.  It was fine, now it is not.  The blue light wireless radio is turned on, but when I run the network set in place, it works simply and can not find my network.  I ran the network diagnostic and it detects my network, but can't find my printer.  On the test page, it fails on SSID.  I could use some help to get this operational back guys!  Thank you!

Well, I can't comment officially, but I'm sure that has been discussed in, and design changes avoid this problem.

Regarding something is through HP, you could call the HP Technical Support and check if you have options to upgrade to a new printer. They should have a list of printers and prices offered as part of the upgrade process. There is no charge to call and check the options you have. If you are in the United States, call the 1-800-474-6836. Otherwise, click on the contact HP link at the top of this page.
