jump the subroutine so busy normal priority

I want to use the functionality of the subroutine jump if busy to a sub.vi of normal priority. Is it possible to do?

This seems like a simple request, but I couldn't find on the discussion forums. Sorry if it's there and I missed it.

I would say semaphores are your best best here.  Even if you had a property node, which would introduce some interesting race conditions.  What happens if you check to see if he was busy and then between check you that he was busy and actually call it, the other process has started running the Subvi?  You're now stuck in exactly what you're trying to prevent.  And Yes, such things happen.  The specific condition I have spoke to me (took a prominent developer and one of the best R & D of LabVIEW guy hours to find this race condition) involved searching for a queue reference be valid, then using the queue.  In fact, they were getting an error of invalid reference because the queue was destroyed by another process between searching the valid reference, and then using the reference.

But the semaphore is simple to use and does the job.

  • A "priority" of the subroutine means anything in an FPGA?

Since a programmed FPGA is a logical collection material strung with potentially much of it at the same time, defining priority execution of FPGA subVIs to "subroutine" really nothing? If you read the description of what made a priority of the subroutine, it is said that he devoted all resources in a thread of execution of the code in the subroutine. For me, this means time sharing of resources. But I don't think that execution shared threads exist in an FPGA, or are they? All possible execution priority levels mean anything to the FPGA code?

Priorities of enforcement have no effect in the FPGA. Each Subvi not requiring arbitration (that is to say, is reentrant or used only once) is inline in the main VI at compile time. Execution priority, as far as I know, has no effect on arbitration for these subVIs that requires it.

  • How do I automatically run a program in high Mode to normal priority

I want to know how to run a program in higher normal priority mode whenever I click on it instead of having to go to Manager tasks to manually set each time. Thank you!

Run Regedit and go to the following key:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell

Now under "shell" add a new key called "run with above normal priority"
Under this key, add another key called "command".
Your 'Command' key, double-click the Reg_SZ "(Default)" entry and change the value of:

cmd.exe/c start 'Run with above normal priority' /abovenormal '%1 '.

Now, when you want to run an exe with above normal priority, right-click on the exe and select your new command in context menu.

    Hello

1A Windows XP installed properly on your computer?

    2. If it is installed, you face any problem with Windows XP?

I suggest you try the methods mentioned below and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

Try to do a Scan SFC (System File Checker). The scan will look bad system files and will attempt to fix them, if possible.

    (a) click the Start button.
    (b) type: cmd.exe in the search results.
    (c) right click the cmd.exefile and select 'run as administrator '.
    (d) in the CMD window, type:sfc/scannowand press the Enter key.
    (e) restart and see if that solves the problem.

    Hello

    1. don't you make changes to the computer until the problem occurred?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

Try to put your computer in a clean boot state, and check to see if the same problem happens.

By setting your boot system minimum state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 causes the computer cursor indicate that the system is busy (turning circle)

I have connected the Officejet pro 8600 printer to my wireless home network and continuously now the cursor on the computer will indicate that the system is busy producing a turning circle every 5 to 10 seconds. The computer is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system.  I went to the Task Manager on the computer and has determined that a file named HpNetworkCommunicator.exe is the origin of the problem in cycling on and off (looking for a signal). I turned on the printer and the file remains on and the problem is solved. However, I don't want to leave the printer at any time, is anyway to stop this file from the search for the printer when the printer is turned off?  Thanks in advance.

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete. If necessary, check that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver. ???

I just burn a CD with no problem at all.  Using the same type of CD, brand new, I tried to burn another CD and got this error message:

Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete. If necessary, check that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver.

I close all programs running, restarted my computer, changed on the devices tab, the speed of burning... everything I know to do and all the things I've read in these forums, no luck... still get the exact same message.  No idea why my CD-writer has decided to stop working for me?

  • Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete.

Original title: CD corrupts and burn it

When I go to burn a cd with the music on this topic in windows media player, it starts very well. When it gets to 70-80% it stops and a window opens with this message.

"Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait until the current task is complete. If necessary, check that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver. »

There is nothing burn but these files. I made sure there was nothing waiting to be burned. I closed all the other windows. I lowered the speed at which it burns. Nothing works I've looked up online. WMP is updated too.

I can burn files very well. Photos and documents, I have a problem with. It cannot therefore the CD burner (not completely, anyway). I can listen to the songs on the CD where it suddenly stops.

If anyone has had this problem, a solution would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi Cory,.

This problem can also occur when your computer correctly detects the disc as a non-recordable device. Make sure that the registry key is set correctly for DVD player.

CD - R or CD - RW drive is not recognized as a recordable device (valid also for Windows 7 steps)

The ability to rotate the screen image is a characteristic of your video
card, to help work with instructors who turn to the portrait
orientation. Almost certainly you accidentally pressed Ctrl-Alt, and
    an arrow key.

    Rotate using these keys.
