Just bought it does not have Media only to convert PC recognizes but doesn't show any info

OK, so I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I was going to download a lot of music and pictures and stuff before I sent it him. Well, I'm very disappointed. When I plugged it the first time it my computer has detected it and when I click to open it and view the files everything was... Well, I tried to add a few photos and things and discovered nothing was going to be compatible so I dissconnected downloaded the Media Converter and plugged back in. Well this time my computer says that there is some sort of error on hardware and it does perhaps not properly right now when I open the Sandisk Sansa Fuze my computer the folder is empty complelty.

OK well though I decided to simply ignore that and try to convert some media, well I'm following the steps and everything but it won't let me click on convert it is not clickable... I'm trying to add and convert a JPEG taken with my digital camera.

I really thought that I had stumbled on a great product after reading the reviews, but no, I'm not sure.

I wanted you to know that I am running Windows XP

Does anyone know how to solve these problems please help.

(Music) files placed on your drive in USB mode (let's say the PSG) won't be visible by you on your computer while the player is connected to the other mode (MSC). And vice versa.

Why it is so preferable to choose 1 USB mode and stick with it to avoid confusion. MSC works the best and easiest, unless you really have some urgent need for PSG, as DRM-encrypted files (Rahapsody, Napster) or 'borrowed' audio books from the library (Overdirve, etc.).

It could be something else... you see a folder of MUSIC? It's usually "hidden" by default. You will connect to your computer, then open Windows Explorer and go to TOOLS, folder... Options and click the tab VIEW scroll down and check the "show files and folders.
