  one thing you might try is to search the whole file system (make sure to include also hidden sites) for the term bookmarks*.json - if all results appear with a date in the file name that is before installing windows, then you probably import them into your firefox profile.

• HP laserjet 4100n - printing garbage after upgrade to Windows 8 and can not network

  Hi everyone - I've recently upgraded to a new PC in Windows 8 and I have terrible problems with my printer HP Laserjet 4100, which worked perfectly before XP.

Liberation and the printer will come on loan. Wait about 1 minute after a ready appears, and then print the config page again and see if the address has changed. Even if this is not the case, go to a prompt on the computer and see if you can ping the address.
