Just upgraded to Win7. Cannot update, cannot download from the internet?
My main computer recently crashed so in the meantime, I took out an old computer, I have not used since 2011. It was in Vista, so I bought a Win 7 Pro license.
I installed Win 7 and tried to run updates, but the model seems just look for updates for hours. I have run diagnostics that looks also some problems and doesn't happen (everything continues constantly to research) results. The task manager has not reported updates windows or diagnosis gel. Then I tried to upgrade to Win 10, but the facility remained at 99% for more than 30 hours. I finally got fed up and did a reboot.
If at this stage I can't update or run diagnostics on Win 7, and I can not upgrade to Win 10.
I tried to call MS Tech Support and have NECESSARILY STAYED in the queue waiting for a technician for 2.5 hours, up to what the system has hung up on me.
So I tried to manually install updates through this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=46817 after I click on download, I get redirected to a download confirmation page, but no download comes...
Any other information, I got 75 GB free of 150 GB.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Please provide more information for your issue to be diagnosed.
Restart your computer and wait 20 minutes for the system to operate before you download information. When the review much, not Event Viewer log files all problems show in the period immediately after the computer has booted.
Please provide a copy of your system information file. Type the system information in the search box above the Start button and press the ENTER key (alternative is select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information). Select file, Export and give the file a name noting where it is located. Not to place the cursor in the body of the report before exporting the file. The system creates a new information file system each time system information is available. You must allow a minute or two before the file is completely filled before exporting a copy. Please download the file to your OneDrive, to share with everyone and post a link here. If the report is in one language other than English, please indicate the language.
Please download and share with everyone a new copy of your log System of your event viewer on your disc one and post a link here. It allows to avoid confusion if you delete all previous copies of the log files of your OneDrive.
To access the system, log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window, expand Windows logs and select System. Place the cursor on the system, select the Action in the Menu and record all events like (the evtx default file type) and give a name to the file. Do not offer not filtered files. Do not place the cursor in the list of reports before selecting the Action from the menu. Do not clear the logs so that you have a persistent problem.

Whenever I launch Firefox 20 Mac OS X 10.7.5, I get the warning message by clicking "" Firefox"is an application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it? ». How can I stop this? There are displays on internet and previous assignments on this resolution by using Terminal commands for OS X 10.5.x & 10.6.x, but these commands do NOT work in 10.7.x or 10.8.x. Make sure that Firefox is installed correctly.

(1) you really have to make it easier to contact support. Get rid of password requirements!
(2) I would copy safely Firefox from one computer to the other. I don't want to download from the internet. Really, we love and use firefox. I had to remove firefox because it came with the virus of Babylon.If you have been Babylon when you installed Firefox you may have installed it from an authoritative source (the only official place and secure to download Firefox from www.getfirefox.comEast). Please, never download Firefox from anywhere else.
So, for your computers, be sure to download Firefox from www.getfirefox.comand you download the version official, convenient and safe.
If you get Babylon on your computer, you can remove it easily without having to remove Firefox by reading How to remove the toolbar of Babylon, home page and search engine (Please note that Babylon is not affiliated with Firefox and we actively seek to solve these problems).

Downloading from the Internet - unknown Publisher error message

I have problems when I download from the internet, I get an unknown Publisher saying the error message windows, my internet pages show also error on the page, a part of the page is missing or it's full of garbage. This happens only for the last few days, but it is appears on each download, I tried to restore, but it goes back in only 5 days.Help, this is really frustrating.

I am running windows XP Pro and am unable to open any programs at all. I was uninstalling some programs add and remove applications in Control Panel and I think I deleted a necessary program, file or something because right afterwards none of files or programs would be open. I get the error the file extension that is not associated with this file. I can't open the system restore program to restore the computer to an earlier configuration. I tried to get a regestry cleaner to fix regestery errors, but none of those I work. I am able to get on the internet and e-mail but am afraid the computer because it cannot be started again. I tried to load a regestery cleaner from the internet but nothing will load or run it. Help! I also tried to change the program that opens files, but went wrong, and now all files are associated with windows internet explorer 8. I have no idea how I did all this and come back to this computer from the place of the computer because the old hard drive died on me and they put in another. It was working fine until I felt the need to clear up disk space and delete some old programs. I'm sure I messed up and deleted a file that was necessary to open others. I don't have the XP disk to try a fix and nothing in the pages of microsoft download will run. Oh please I don't want to take that back to the computer type that will charge me an arm and a leg. I just made him pay $ 200 last week. Any help will be great.

Adding dynamic elements or Images downloaded from the internet to a HorizontalFieldManager

I create an application that uses a HorizontalFieldManager to display images from an RSS feed.
As I don't know how many images is coming in rss, I created a function that takes the RSS feed Manager and reads all the fields from image on it, and then creates a toolbarButton with the URL to download the image.The toolbarButton class is just a stretch of a BitmapField with an inner thread to download images using HTTPConnection.
Once I have the parsed RSS I call the function makeToolbar like this:

Just to give you an update on that. The delays were due to the multiple write debug messages to a file. I created a class to manage debug logs and that fixes the problem.
