Your DR U500-1 has part number PSU9ME-xxxxx then please check under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp Toshiba download page and look for Satellite U500 with reference number or model number short PSU9ME.

  I have HP Pavilion g6 series Notebook and am trying to pair it with a bluetooth device.

  I can connect to the device via my iPhone well.

  Problem is that I don't know if my laptop supports bluetooth,

  I went to control Panel\Hardware and the Sound\Devices and printers and tried to add a device - not good.

  I tried to search it upward in networks - not good.

  So, I have been looking around for more information on adding a second HDD/SDD in my model of laptop computer on the web, but can't find anything on my specific model. Many places say K-series laptops have only one hard drive Bay, and that you use a hard drive caddy optical Bay. Moreover, I found videos of very similar models being dismantled, which seem to have only room for 1 hard drive. However, I was told to support twitter HP want all 17 have 2 hard drive slots. Can I get a confirmation, just to be sure?

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your Notebook HP ENVY - 17 t - k200 CTO, model #K2Z68AV and concerns with the second span. Looking to 256 GB SATA m2 (MLC) that could be used for storage only. It is a hard drive, but it fits differently than the main hard drive. Hereis a link to your manual page 2 which shows the specifications.

• Sony vaio fw Series notebook PC hangs after complete recovery using the recovery disk

  I have sony vaio fw notebook computer series. the problem is that a week ago my laptop keyboard did not work properly, his work of sttops not all but a few keys and I stop directly by using the power button / stop and then I turn it on after day and the computer started to freez. I though I could get rid of this by restoring the complete system and I did it by using the recovery disk that I created at the firrst time I've had this laptop. during the recovery process, my laptop crashes twice but in any case, I managed to do thanks to a system of complete restoration and after that when I turn on my laptop, then it worked fine for 10-15 minutes but after that it started to freeze up again. I had to stop it again using the button / stop and it happened about 5 - 10 times, after that I decided to do a full restore using the restore disc. as I was doing that the process is not complete because it crashes when I do this. Finally, I managed to do a full system restore after more than 10 + time and guess what it lights up then my laptop crashes completely. I can't open anything... mouse works very well but if tried click on any program then you can not click on it, please help what should I do now... p.s, my computer works fine in safe mode with networking, but in normal mode its completely freeze

• Recovery dv9900 series notebook

  OS on PC system is corrupt.

  Can enter the Setup program, and did to load the bios default settings.

  Started the recovery with recovery HP DVD discs received 26/02/2011.

  Charge of windows files, boot to Windows, and then black screen with cursor in work but noting else.

  Waited more than an hour but no activity in HD or DVD player.

  Have to press and hold the power button to turn it off.

  Laptop is a version of "Entertainment". Operating system is Vista 64 bit SP1.

  Tried to do the recovery with wireless on and outside, without change.

  Any ideas or suggestions?

  Tried the recovery with the Vista of HP discs - do luck (never had the chance to reformat).

  Was able to install XP Pro without any problem (was allowed to reformat).

  Again tried recovery with disks of Vista - not good luck (never had the chance to reformat).

  Tried to install Windows 7, no luck (never had the chance to reformat).

  Material tests run on the memory and hard drive - no problem, everything going on.

  Removed one of the two memory module 2Gig - RECOVERY WORKED with HP's Vista disks!

  Replace the memory module.

  Back in business.

  (Note that the problem with the memory has been never detected with the test hardware)

• Driver CD on HP Pavilion g Series notebook PC does not

  My CD/DVD drive does not work. There is nothng when I insert a cd. I tried everything I know to do. I uninstalled and then restarted for the computer to reinstall, but nothing works. It gives me the error code 19 - it seems to be a registry problem, but I have been unable to resolve the issue.

  Any suggestions? And the next thing I will ask you, did I try the fixit tool? Yes, I did... Nothing works. Have no idea what to do at this point.

• HP Pavilion g Series notebook PC, Windows 7, boot faokure

  Then I started to notice problems this morning. The computer took a little more normal to initialize, then whem it finally shows the office, everything is horribly slow. Internet took 5 minutes to acquire, default programs appeared unresponsive and even had one of those "windows does not. You can choose to leave the program, or wait for a response"messages. Thinking it was probably a virus, I ran Avast! Antivirus protection. Who went to half an hour. Got up to 17% complete, then dropped to 9%, while, also, became unresponisve. So I think that he could have an overheating problem. Being in Las Vegas without any pry a/c is not good for any machine. So I start to remove the screws, jump off a few patches, then figure that I will never get fans or inside the vents without completely destroying the computer, so I got everything the way I found them and tried to start the machine back.
  
  The result is less satisfactory. The computer loads up, crosses the "press the ESC key for startup menu", then instantly switches to a screen saying "Windows is loading files...". "The bar underneath it fills, indicating that loading the files over, but nothing happens. So I restarted and I tried pressing CTRL, ALT, DELETE set, which seemed to reboot the computer, leading to another captivating display of "Windows is loading files...". ». Feel like I've been there before, I pressed CTRL, ALT, DELETE it again and somehow find a screen test, with test at startup, run-in test, system development, as well as other selections options. I go through some of the tests, and for all three, the computer passes the test of memory and the SMART test, but omits the short DST. The ID of failure for the three tests were the same, M0EDXX-5QD6KM-MFGH5F-60UR03. The product ID were also the same, be QE064UA #ABA. Then the results will follow with "Disk 1"
  
  Anyway... Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. And sorry in advance if I missed spelling errors... Not used to write through phone o3o

  The error code for short drive Self Test (DST) would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  It is also compatible with other issues that you talk about slow loading, gel etc.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - you can check the status of your warranty here.

  Hi guys, I was just wondering how this PC manages the charging of the battery.  As in, it completely cut off the power supply to the battery when it is fully charged, as if the battery was not yet in the laptop or would he keep it loads whenever he got a little more without charge.

  If that's your plan then cycle the battery completely for complete discharge and recharge completely once a month. That will prevent the "memory effect" and allow to extend the life of your laptop battery.

• 60 HP G Series notebook PC: need help with Hp 60 G screen flickers to black then returns if repositioned screen?

  First the 8.1 update stinks.  This operating system doesn't do well with a laptop no touchscreen.  The system will not wake up after the cover is closed. I have to restart with a difficult start.  Also when I tap the screen suddenly goes black vibration and movement of the laptop itself. If I set the screen before and behind the screen back to normal. I think it's only a matter of time before this constant back and forth of movement to loosen the screen completely and more severe the wires that connect the Panel to the keyboard.  ORRRRRRRRRRRRR I'll just throw the frustration!

  My computer is a Compaq Presario V2410CA series Notebook 2005 that is running Microsoft Windows XP, home edition, SP2. Find it me coming again, No Manual of real user and No restore CD. There are two CD: (1) operating system CD for Windows XP Home Edition, SP2, and (2) the Application and Driver Recovery DVD. While they inspected the "My Computer" folder, I see that the hard drive has No partitions.   You need to boot from the CD of the operating system. Put in the drive and restart your laptop. You can receive a command prompt type any key to boot from CD on on/off, or it can boot from it automatically. Choose to install, once reach you the screen where your hard drive is displayed choose to format and reinstall. After installing XP, the driver cd & Application run.

  T series is quite old, and I guess that this model will not be offered anymore. If you see the Toshiba Europa or Spain Toshiba page, you will see that Toshiba offers second-generation T series. This new model is much better as old book of T.

  T series notebooks have been reworked and now Toshiba offers a new look, modern design, and I think with Win7 OS.
