  • Lenovo Y410P only loads "Lenovo" logo, will not start!

Hi, my slightly more mobile years computer does not load. I've recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 and since I did it I got errors "blue screens of death". There were a couple, but most of the time that it was a mistake to "watchdog" should happen instead of the usual Windows startup after being off for a while it would just come up with a message saying he was recovering from a mistake and then eventually he would load windows and everything would be fine.

But no more. I just back from being gone for the weekend and the computer is no longer supported anything else than start of Lenovo logo.

Any ideas on what could be the cause? My hard drive or ram is fried? Something I can do?

(I tried pressing F2, Fn and all other key combinations I can think.) I search online to find answers and have not yet finding someone with the same problem. Other people seem to be at least able to get into the BIOS, but I can't do that, either.)

    Thanks in advance!

I have experienced this odd circumstance myself. In may cases, the computer just randomly got stuck on the start screen for Lenovo without prior indication as to why this would happen.

Whenever that happens, however, the solution is extremely simple. I simply unplug everything from the ports on my computer. USB ports, which is (and the SD card). Boots right up when switched on with empty ports and then you can plug everything back in. I guess the computer is confused what to start from? No idea, but do let us know if it works.

I just put in a 2nd inside the hard drive and now it gets stuck on boot logo screen I have disable reboot it 1 - 2 times before the beginning of the right way, any help would be great

    Hello @njchuck76,

I understand that your desktop computer is stuck on boot logo screen after the installation of a secondary hard drive, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

To make sure that your system is booting of the operating system drive, I recommend that you follow the steps described in this document on the configuration of the Boot in the BIOS system order.

If your computer is still not able to boot into Windows after making sure the boot order is appropriate, I suggest following this resource on the computer does not (Windows 8). This should help with running hardware diagnostics.

If the problem persists after you complete all the steps listed above, please call our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number.

  • Dell XPS 15 9530 Boot stuck at the logo

    Hello

I have a Dell XPS 15 9530 with only 10 of Windows installed. After a simple reboot that I noticed that the boot process has started taking a long time (> 5 minutes), but in the end, Windows starts correctly and evertything worked well. I run the diagnostic test and no error is returned.

Then I tried to restore the BIOS to defaults setting and now the trunk seems to take more time, I'm still waiting for 30 minutes ago.

The boot process stuck at the point where the Dell logo is visible (I think until all treated windows starts). It's the same thing if I try to enter the parameters of WOOD, so for now I'm not able to access the settings. I don't really know what to do.

If you have any suggestions, help me a lot :)

Start by pressing F12 at startup until a start menu appears - start the Dell diagnostics and run a test lying on the system, in particular the disk of hard/SS.

  • iPad 3 stuck load (No. Logo Apple)

    Thank you!

How old is the iPad? And have you tried to use another charger

  • iPad Mini / iOS iPhone 6 9.2.1 stuck on the logo Apple - Exchange problem?

Yesterday, my iPhone 6 and my iPad Mini randomly froze, containing just the Apple logo. I can only imagine that some sort of automatic update has happened that I was not aware of--probably iOS 9.2.1. I could not turn on the unit and hard reset did not work. I was unable to restore the device using iTunes. I took them to my local "Genius Bar" and both devices have been restored to factory default.

When I returned home, I tried to restore to the last backup via iTunes devices and restoring the iPhone does not.

I have reset the new iPad to factory default and added my email Exchange and Google accounts. I also added back Magic Puzzles and Flipboard. The iPad has worked for awhile, but sometimes at night it froze on the Apple logo and began to beep (which woke me up).

This morning, I reset the new iPad to factory default and added my Google email account. It worked without problem. I added my Exchange account and the mail application has worked for about a minute, then the iPad displays the Apple logo. I did not try this with my iPhone because I don't have the time to sit in the restaurant business, plus I need to use it as a phone.

Is there a problem with the application mail, Exchange and iOS 9.2.1? I, like many others, rely on my iPhone and it is totally useless without my Exchange account for work.

I would go to the support area of the developer, in this case > https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Outlook-for-iOS-and-Android-Help-Center - cd84214e-a5ac-4e95-9ea3-e07f78d0cde6? ui... and ask people who are familiar with using Outlook

  • Dell Inspiron 5547 stuck on dell logo

    Hi all

I just bought a computer dell laptop Inspiron 5547. In my view, it is originally shipped with Windows 8, but the previous owner upgraded to 10 Windows. I went into the control panel of Windows 10 and chose the option to delete previous users data and reset the pc. However at halfway in the reset, I got an error message saying "there was a problem when you reset your pc" and then gave me a few options I selected 'continue, exit and continue Windows 10 "but after that the laptop does not start. He sits on the dell logo and then goes black, then returned to the dell logo. I'm not sure what to do, and when I press F8 I can't access recovery. I have to reinstall Windows 10 from a USB? If I do how do I activate it as the original product key Windows 8 is not on the back. Thank you

If steps fails then I suggest you go to another computer and create a flashdrive bootable windows 10. I do not recommend creating one with a flash SanDisk(8GB) drive. Moreover, you will not need key product because it is built into the BIOS. The system should recognize when you run the bootable flash drive. Please follow the steps in the link below.

  • Palm Pre stuck at the logo

I had my pre for about two months and the other day, arbitrarily, it restarts and is now unable to boot the system completely; It crashes just in the 'Palm' logo indefinitely.  I have reset many times, both through the switch and the battery, and it has made no difference.  I can't use the webOS doctor, either, because my computer does not recognize the frozen pre.  I was hoping that the problem could be resolved without having to replace the phone entirely.  Any help would be appreciated!

    OK, try this:

    1. plug the USB cable and charger, charger inserted.

2 remove the battery from the front.

    3. press and hold the button of volume up to off on the side.

    4. replace the battery in the meadow.

    5. Insert the USB cable to the front. (should see a big USB logo on the screen)

    6. release the volume up button now.

    7. install webOS doctor of Palm.com/ROM.

    8. connect the USB cable to the PC and pre when the webOS doctor invites to do.

9 shot after when the possibility and let it do its magic.

    Lets see how that fairs.

  • Windows 8 taking 30 minutes to start/restart and stuck on boot logo.

Hi all... I am back... And I'm getting sick of windows 8. . _ I don't know I had so many questions on my old laptop to windows 7.

Well, it's not my laptop, but one sister. As you can read in the title, I have extremely long startup time. On normal boot, it is very rare, but sometimes they come. But every restart taking so long... Finally, with a day spent on the research and try to fix I just do a factory reset. Everything went well, it worked normal again. I tried a few reboots and normal shutdown and boot, and it worked! I was so happy because it was so persistent on... But then I tried windows updates, and then the window crashed-_-. Jesus, I was so angry with this laptop... Windows Update did not turn on more... Not even when I restarted the laptop... Then I searched the Internet again and I found something on youtube on the removal of cache, I did and then it worked again. Once again the was happy... But then... "Update of Windows is up-to-date, even windows update update some time and blah blah blah..". I thought: good O_o... So I said OK and it updated and it comes, he wanted to restart and again, reboot takes FOREVER. It is always reboot and it's nearly 30 minutes... And btw, before the reset, it would not start without to hold the power button and then start again and wait for 30 minutes, but I don't want to turn it off like this... And now I am so angry and I don't know what to do... Maybe it's a hardware problem... ? Or a bad update... ? Or is it just bad karma... I have a lot of homework so school and now I have to fix a laptop... I hope someone can help, I'm getting headaches of windows 8: (.)

    Thanks in advance!

    Serge

    Hello

You are welcome... I hope that things continue to work properly...

From what you describe you may have a problem with your HARD drive...

When the machine is functional, you can consider creating some recovery support your computer will provide, if you have not already... If in fact it is a problem of HARD drive and it fails, you won't be is no longer able to do the reset of the built-in...

    Hi Timmsey,

-You are able to boot to the desktop?

The issue may be caused if you have changed the hardware and software of the computer settings.

Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc.) except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then download software updated driver for the device.
