Updates to Windows Vista 64-bit drivers /Driver
Hello, I would like to know if Windows updater automatic/updates updated, update the drivers on a windows Vista 64-bit. And if I update drivers through Driversupport.com it will improve my performance of browsers? In general it is necessary to regularly update the drivers? This will help with browsers not supported?
Thank you for responding.
Windows Update does work just in pc hardware updates/software/drivers. If you have specific
controllers PC which are necessary, you're best bet is to go to the web pc mfg. Although Win 7 on the
MFG site are outdated. If it's a pc intel, go to: intel.com/support/software/drivers,locate the
Intel update utility, it scans any pc processor intel for installation updates, & is common or browse intel
Download Center/chipset software.
You're browser, so up-to-date, does not work as well as pc offers...

update of security (KB2676562) has already been correctly installed 21 times, began towards the end of May. Update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) was successfully installed 35 times, he began in mid-April. These two continue to update themselves every day and do it at least twice a day, back to back. It is very frustrating to have to deal with that and makes me think that something may be a problem with my computer. I had heard of registry cleaners is not not a good thing to use, if recently I not unhooked my registry free cleaner. I hope that it has not caused my computer to lose any registry key values. Does anyone know a possible solution or what I need to do? I thank everybody help, please!

I use 4 browsers on my laptop Toshiba Windows Vista (32-bit) SP2:
Internet Explorer 9
Google Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m
Opera Version 17.0.1241.45
Mozilla Firefox Version 24.0
I just downloaded and installed Flash Player 11.9.900.117, which is recognized by IE9 and Chrome from Google, but not in Opera and Firefox, even after closing the browser and re-start.
How can I get Flash Player to work with Opera and Firefox?
Thanks for your help.
See you soon,.
Joel
There are two different versions of Flash Player for Windows (3 If you count Chrome)
ActiveX which is ONLY for IE,
Flash Player for other browsers which is for Opera, Safari and Firefox, and
"PepperFlash" that is built into Chrome by Google.
Download the tool or another browser version will have NO EFFECT on Chrome.
Download of the ActiveX version WILL NOT install a plugin for Opera or Firefox because they do not use controls ActiveX - NO browser but IE uses not since about 2001.
Download Adobe Flash Player for Firefox and Opera setup directly by clicking on the following link.

Update for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 offerred repeatedly; have installed 4 times.
Original title: vista service pack 1
just reinstalled vista and sp1 only installs sound always on windows updates and I install it says his successful but while he appears again ive done four times now, and it is said in the history of the update I have four time but I know that its not install as its quick access
I have will have to sp2 as well but can't get that until I get sp1Hi Joy,.
Let us work together to solve this problem.
During the installation of Windows Vista SP1, this problem occurs when a third-party application holds open a file or locks a file that the Service Pack installer should use. For example, an application third-party antivirus or antispyware may cause this problem. I suggest you temporarily uninstall any antivirus software and check if you are able to install the service pack. Please do not forget to reactivate once the process is complete.
Method 1: Alternatively, you can reset Windows Update components.

Windows Vista 32-bit is failing to start after the success of the recovery.
Hi all, my apologies if this has already been covered in another post, I checked but I'm new here so might have forgotten.
I have a HP Pavilion a6442a with Windows Vista 32-bit. A couple of weeks it froze, forcing me to maually shut down, and now it does not restart. It gets so far then goes to startup repair, which never seems to find no problem. I tried restoring the system (to several different restore points), conducted diagnostic tests, conducted tests of memory and hd and tried commissioning in all modes as I could: no problem can't find anywhere and I always had the same problem. Finally, I backed up my files and made a full recovery of the system. It said it completed successfully, I restarted to complete the installation of Windows, it gets "Please wait a moment while Windows starts for the first time... "freezes, restarts and then traced directly back to the start screen for repair.
I am at a loss, I've done everything I can think. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello:
Have you added any hardware configuration inventory (other than replace the hard disk or add memory)?
Do you have only the mouse, keyboard and screen plugged in when you ran the recovery procedure?
If the answer to question 1, remove any material that you have installed that do not come with the PC and try to recover again.
If the PC is recovering successfully, close and reinstall your spare hardware.
If not, question 2, unplug anything other than the mouse, the keyboard and the monitor and try to recover again.
If you continue to be confused and you can read all 25 characters of the product key of Vista on your PC case, you can make your own Vista installation media.
It will be just a simple installation of Vista and no software other than the operating system will be included.
You can install the drivers and software available to support for your PC and driver page.
Link to the info below... click on the blue link of the reinstallation of Windows Guide PDF and start reading the news of Vista that starts on page 296.

Original title: computer hangs on restrting have to swich to then restart windows vesta 64 bit how to fix startup journal
Restart the problem have disc windows do not know how to make a boot fix
Hi John McAvoy,.
(1) since when are you facing this problem?
(2) you get an error message?
I want to clarify if this happens when you start Windows after logging in or before opening a session on windows.
Method 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the mouse and keyboard > restart the computer and check
If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then get any drivers\software update for the device.
Thanks and greetings
