KB2418241 Installation causes TFS Build to fail

We recently had a series of automatic updates installed on our TFS server over the weekend.  After these updates have been installed - our generation automated nightly began failing, he could get later - would not have build - nothing...

Backup off the patches that have been installed one at a time until he started working again - and then reinstalled the ones we removed until we could get his failure once more, we started.  We were able to narrow the problem down to a fix.

The problem that happens when install us KB2418241 (updated for .NET Framework SP 2.0 and 3.5)

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2418241

Our generation is nothing fancy - just get latest - perform a build, and that's all.

The event log provides no details as to why this is happening, just a single message with the command start MSBuild - when you try to run this in the command prompt - you get a WindowsShellEx "Access denied" error.  Our services are connecting with the right credentials and the domain account using the service has full access to the folder to get later.

For the time being - we will not re - install the patch until we find out why it does not work - but it would be good to know why it fails at first.  All I have this problem and have ideas on how to resolve the issue in addition to not use the patch?

Thank you

    Hello guys,.

I have problems with my application using ripple of packaging. It continues to produce [Oh Snap! [Build request failed with the message: invalid application [ERROR] (Archives) - name of the resource are not valid (img/[email protected])] error.

I'm guessing a reoccurrence of an old bug as tneil well said in this post , so I used the latest version of the SDK (BlackBerry WebWorks SDK 2.2.0.15), but the error persists.

Please note that I used Ripple many times before with the "-" on the names of file deleted on my mind, which is probably the reason why I've not encountered this earlier but it's just that I'm importing pre-made images with strict naming conventions (with a "-") so I can't go and rename them.

Here is a screenshot of ripple.

  • Error of the ripple: Oh Snap! Build request failed with the message: CreateProcessW

    Hello

I installed the Mobile Emulator 0.9.1 ripple with SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks, following the instructions exacly on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

If I try to package virtually any application (HelloWorld, weather, examples, something more complex, whatever), I get the following error:

Oh Snap! Build request failed with message: CreateProcessW: The system cannot find the file specified.

I tried a lot of things. I'm guessing that it's a mistake with the SDK, since I can enter any path to any folder that exists on my HD as the path to the SDK and I get the same error.

Path SDK: SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks c:\RIM\BlackBerry

    The project root: c:\Users\Username\RippleSites\AppName

    Archive name: AppName

    Output folder: c:\

I tried different paths for the foregoing, moving my code and by reinstalling the SDK.

I'm at my wits end - about to renounce WebWorks.  Any ideas?

It seems %SystemRoot%/system32 and any % were missing from my path variable. All good - too bad!

    Hello

Unfortunately ripple does not work under Windows 7, so I tried on Mac. On Mac, I have the following parameters in the ripple:

    The project root: / Dokumente/helloWorld
    Archive name: helloWorld

There is the file config.xml and index.html file in the helloWorld file

    I have for this site:

When I try to pack in ripple, I get:
Build request failed with the message: helloWorld/Dokumente / is not a valid path

There is a message ' no simulators found "on the bottom of the settings, too." '

I tried different paths, one of my localhost in Apache, but nothing works. What's wrong??

Well, the path was not "consistent". I hate the f... Mac: / Users/Valentina/Documents/helloWorld to the project root and/Users/Valentina/Documents/BlackBerryOutput was necessary.

Someone else have this error and know why?

PS the Maps.zip does not get created (or copied) in specified folder, of course, but why?

The two directories (in the extensions directory and maps project directory) have permissions to 777.

But you gave me an idea...

It turns out that simply by putting

in setting output wasn't enough, I need the full path

    for example: "/ Users/username/RippleSites/Maps/packed."

    and presto, now it works!

  • Installation of Flash builder 4 has somehow broken my launch of running/debugging/profiling of flex builder 3.

After installing Flash builder 4 neither to him nor to flex builder 3 has been able to launch flex swf:s. After hitting to run or debug flex gives a prompt saying "Flash Player is not found. Flex builder cannot locate the required version of Flash Player. You need to maybe install Flash Player 9 or reinstall Flex Builder. Do you want to try to run your application with the current version? ». The popup itself happened before the installation of flash builder 4. But normally I would hit just Yes and he would use any flashplayer is default.

Now, if I click Yes it launch command prompt with a path to the installation folder of flex 3 Builder. When running flash builder 4, same happens except the path is the folder of installation of flash builder 4. Flex then begins waiting for connection of the debugger, and after awhile, he invites a timeout message. The title of command prompts is... \workspace\project\bin-debug\filename.swf.

When you open the SWFs directly from windows, they open fine.

I used the uninstaller for flash player software and recovered both fp9 & 10 and reinstalled the. That did not help. When we browser everything works fine, the problem occurs only when you launch standalone player. I tried to check the registry settings if there is something wrong, but all the flashplayers paths seem to be ok.

Is there another hope to solve this problem than to reinstall flex builder 3 and flash builder 4 from scratch?

You need content installed FP debugger

http://www.Adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html download from here and install it and you should see the problem go away

Download the Flash Player 10 ActiveX Windows control content debugger (for IE) (EXE, 2.03 MB)

  • Configuration problem of the mixture of the regions with and without installation of persistence of the disc causing the JSONFormatter to fail

I have trouble setting my local setup correctly with a mixture of regions with different configuration of persistence of disc.  Is a configuration problem on my end or a bug in GemFire and/or Spring GemFire data?

The configuration of my work is as follows:

    < gfe: replicated-region id = "replicatedRegion" cache-ref = "gemfireCache" disk-store-ref = "overflowOnlyDiskstore" persistent = "false" >

    < gfe:eviction type = threshold "HEAP_PERCENTAGE" = "90" action = "OVERFLOW_TO_DISK" / >

    < / gfe: replicated-region >

    < gfe:local - region id = "localRegion" cache-ref = "gemfireCache" / >

With the above configuration, I can successfully call JSONFormatter.fromJSON (json) and get a reference to a PdxInstance object.  However, when I kinda modify configuration to enable the persistence of drive on one of the regions, the call to JSONFormatter.fromJSON (json) fails.  The change is as follows:

    < gfe:local - region id = "localRegion" cache-ref = "gemfireCache" persistent = "true" disk-store-ref = "persistOverflowDiskstore"/ >

Without any additional modification, the following error starts occurring:

com.gemstone.gemfire.pdx.JSONFormatterException: could not parse JSON document: [Source: java.io.StringReader@5549f0e, line: column 26,: 6]

    at com.gemstone.gemfire.pdx.JSONFormatter.fromJSON(JSONFormatter.java:66)

    ...

Caused by: com.gemstone.gemfire.pdx.PdxInitializationException: The PDX metadata must be persistent in a limb that has persisted data. See CacheFactory.setPdxPersistent.

    at com.gemstone.gemfire.pdx.internal.PeerTypeRegistration.checkAllowed(PeerTypeRegistration.java:531)

    at com.gemstone.gemfire.pdx.internal.PeerTypeRegistration.verifyConfiguration(PeerTypeRegistration.java:515)

    ...

Note that it is breaking while I try to get a reference to a PdxInstance, and if the code has not yet arrived at the point where I place a PdxInstance object in a region.

Thanks for any help in advance.

    Hello

JSONFormatter PDX uses as is the serialization mechanism from the Gemfire cache. As indicators of error, you must have your persistent PDX meta-data when you use PDX with an area that itself is persistent. Adjust your configuration as follows:

It will use a default for PDX record store, but you can also use a specific store if you wish.

When you use PDX, a "PDXType" is created for each class serialized with PDX and this type id is stored with the data in the region. If this region is persistent, then the PDXType, associated with this object must also be kept.

  • Running studiocli via ssh using authorized_keys o causes Epic build Fail

Preface: I use authorized_host ssh keys to implement my non ssh sessions.

Do this command in the shell of my build machine:

    SSH o 'StrictHostKeyChecking no 'root@myip' studiocli - createbuild - profile opt/vmware/var/lib/build/profiles/Build.xml--debug--verbose'

Results output and following (epic fail of my attempt of construction):

Failed: Failed to reset the process group identifier

I followed it down to the code following in studiocli python (I commented).

        1. change vabs in a group of various different process than the OBA

        2. avoid the process OBA is killed during the cancellation of construction *.

      1. try: *.

      3. except OSError: *.

      4. Failure ("Unable to Reset process Group ID") *.

What impact will this have on my versions if I comment on him?

Is there a better way to call studiocli in ssh?
